@Killa_adz great! But unfortunately that small window never popped up anywhere. So. I’ve send a mail to cd, hope they reply soon. I realized that this morning I didn’t knew the update was coming and this evening I find myself franticly rushing to install this asap. Something went wrong there. So decided to relax about it, it will probably work sooner or later. Just like the whole game did. (But still, the clock is ticking… Elden Ring)
@Killa_adz probably its the Demo too. There’s a glitch: after you’ve downloaded the demo version once, the word ‘demo’ disappears from the downloads, but it is still the demo. Although I hope for you its the real game.
@awp69 what? I was playing this on my PS5 and the foliage and terrain literally looked like they where 15 years old! Even the enemies looked and behaved clunky. I didn’t manage to complete the 30 minutes. I probably missed the best part then...
@Flaming_Kaiser Yeah I think the modern way of implementing online stuff and procedural stuff along with an improved bar of visual quality makes games more vulnerable to bugs (and crashes). Plus, the dev teams keep growing to achieve huge worlds, which makes tech. (and artistic) coherence even harder. AC Valhalla has crashed 15 times on me now. Which is not acceptable. But 1 or 2 occasional crashes, i wouldn't care. BTW Lets not forget that games from 10, 20, and even 30 years ago could and did crash as well. It is just: games...
For example reading: "...not having the game crash in five hours of play is a genuine miracle." sounds so exorbitant.
Two months ago I've played 70 hours of CP on my old PS4 with 2(!) crashes in total. By the miracle stats of this article that would be nearly impossible.
Played it on my 6 years old PS4, worked like a charm btw (2 crashes in 70 hours). Great game, bit over hyped obviously. Also returning to my save file on my PS5, 2 months later, feels a bit 'empty'. Hope they manage to add great content to it along with the next gen update (and hopefully multiplayer), this way the game and Night City might re-live again...
I don't get the word: 'free'. It's totally misplaced. I just calculated I've paid 900 euros to Netflix the past 5 years. I'm not sure if I would have ever spend it on watching films in general? 10 dollars/euros a month for games sounds cheap, but really isn't on the long term (only if you're a hardcore gamer).
@Grumblevolcano Yeah. Imagine, how many subscribers do they need over time to cover the 7,5 billion Bethesda acquisition . (And that's just the start of what they need to cover).
I think MS just scored a point on PS's own game: Exclusives.
(Obviously they cheated, but it's a point nevertheless)
So now it's equal. But not for customers, because if you used to own a PS4 you could actually own almost all popular console games, except for Nintendo's. In the future you'll need an Xbox too.
But it doesn't stop there: while it's equal now, MS is still on the offensive side with its Game Pass tactic. Although PS is a company hard aka impossible to beat, we PS supporters are watching these developments kind of abashed.
But keep in mind Bethesda has not delivering insanely great releases the last couple of years. Neither is the chance very high they will in the near future. That might probably be a reason why they went on sale in the first place.
Good thing is, Playstation will now be forced (but also ‘able’) to fill up the gap of the weird fantasy/sci-fi genre with their own IP’s. A territory that was owned by Fallout, Elder Scrolls and Doom/Wolfenstein.
And last but not least, the game pass sounds more promising than it will be in reality. On Netflix (for example) most content is only watchable for a short period of time. Which works fine for films and TV shows, but not for games. So MS’s game pass will be a very frustrating place to be when you discover that the (3rd party) game you often play, has suddenly left the lineup. So you'll still need to buy it. Game pass will probably be more like a demo or try out pass. Except for some of their 1st party games obviously.

Re: Hands On: Maybe Don't Buy Disco Elysium on PS5 at Launch
Why not buy it?!
What an inappropriate header.
It's even on discount on the PS store?
1. Interactions = little bit awkward, but they WORK anyways. (Hopefully better in the nearfuture.)
2. FPF: Who cares? This is not an action game?
But wow, if just played an hour now, it's very promising. Refreshing.

Re: Talking Point: What Free April 2021 PS Plus Games Are You Hoping For?
Wreckfest.
Just the kind of game my friends would never buy, but I’d still like to play with them.
