This really could just be considered rerolling bad decisions that the community railed into them over.

Never really cared about who hosted the events, only about the games present.

Diablo 4 would've been probably more of a standout title in a weaker year for games, being okay at best in 2023 is not good enough.

I've only bought plus just for the online component and cloud storage. In fact if I'm highballing it I think I've played the downloadable games at best 3 times since the PS3 and I'm 99% certain they were still cheaper to buy outright, essential already was more of a borderline necessity only due to paywalling a previously free feature.

So far the only thing I getting from this is that they're vaguely talking about getting better games for the service, and that's an empty promise.

How is MK8 still pulling in such high numbers?

@Max_the_German No, in fact they removed a good bit of lines and replaced them with nothing.

Awnestly that's not a bad change considering how bad Ultimania is with the scoring. Might give rise to more build variety to increase score.

Souls-likes tend to never get what made the souls games good they always fall into cheaper design philosophy because they take difficulty as the only selling point of the franchise. Besides the Niohs I've yet to be impressed by newer attempts.

@Powerplay94 It's the case that the biggest consoles don't have an answer to play it on modern hardware. Modern convenience is the easiest thing to sell when you have virtually no choice beyond take it or buy older hardware and the game to then play it which will still be more expensive.

On one hand I guess this is an answer to all the people complaining about putting too many resources into remasters/remakes rather than new games. Don't want them to try then here's a flat port with no bells or whistles.

@Uromastryx Real tawk! They pretty much tanked everything simultaneously and are slowly relenting on some of their changes, but the fact of the matter is thus: they made almost everything intentionally worse.

They still haven't even addressed the awful dungeon objectives that have been complained about for a while.

@tselliot It really depends on the situation. The itemization is horrible after a certain point that even in my 60s I was using gear from the 50s because nothing better was being dropped and WT3's gear is worthless because WT4 brings in a direct upgrade.

Plus there's really not that much to do in a game after a certain point especially when the gear drops are constantly lacking.
