Re: Bethesda Says 'Some' Future Games Won't Launch on PS5, PS4

I think the likely translation is, "Everything not currently nearing the end of production." They didn't drop that cash just to see heavy hitters like Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Doom sell big on PS5.
Unlike most, it seems, I really enjoyed Fallout 4, but I won't pick up an XB to play the next. Although Sony needs to start picking up some RPG devs before Microsoft snatches them all.

Since everyone's dropping opinions, I personally loved The Last Jedi and Rogue One, liked Force Awakens and Solo and hated Rise of Skywalker. I also love Mando and Rebels. Resistance sucked. The main problem with the sequel trilogy is that they didn't have a basic map in place. Everything was reactionary. VII was too derivative so VIII went in a lot of unexpected directions. Then there was backlash from some of the community, so IX erased a lot of what VIII had built. There wasn't a single satisfying character arc. I wish Filoni and Favreau had been in charge of the whole thing from the word go. As far as this game is concerned, I'm really looking forward to it and wish they'd throw out a release date.

Re: Despite Delisting, CDPR Promises Cyberpunk 2077 Players Will Still Receive Patches on PS5, PS4

So as much as I'm enjoying the game on PS5, it really is mind boggling that the game was in development for so long. It's completely reminiscent of something like Fallout 4 or The Outer Worlds. It has some interesting questlines and a somewhat more complicated open world, but that's it. So why 8 years to bang it into its current shape? I'd be curious to know if there was a lot of cut content or features, or if it was drastically changed somehow during development.
