Daaaaaamn. Meanwhile I'm about 25 hours in on PS5 and loving it. What an unbelievable mess CDPR created here.

I imagine we're going to start seeing some heads rolling at CDPR soon.

The policy they tend to stick to is a "one time courtesy" refund. I had mine 3-4 years ago and that was it. It's ridiculous, especially if they're wanting to move into a majority digital future.

@fabisputza00 You'll have to actually call support. Likely to be a pain but that's the only way they'll do it.

I'm a bit miffed that all of the banging it into shape on last gen is likely to push back the true next gen version. Totally selfish maybe, but there you are.

Man, this is wild and I hate that it's happening. After the last update, it's looking great on PS5, and the gameplay is excellent. I haven't had any crashes (though I tend to not play more than an hour or two at a time) and only a few graphic glitches. It's fun and has a great story. They really needed a longer delay, or just to cancel last gen altogether. They're really going to work to claw themselves out if this mess.

I'm a few hours in and, knock on wood, haven't encountered any major issues. HDR implementation sucks, but the game itself is solid, and fun. I feel terrible for the people playing on base PS4. I really hope everything gets ironed out sooner rather than later.

I'm playing on PS5 via BC. It looks...fine. Framerate has been steady thus far, environments look good most of the time. It's absolutely not in full HD, and after spending a while in character customization, looking in a mirror or at the character screen is a blurry funhouse mirror image of the person I put together. Gameplay is good, but I hope CDPR gets some patches out and announces the full next gen versions ASAP.

That's wild that it was released in this state, and at $40. I had my eye on it when it was announced, so it really is a shame. Looking forward to the developers' apology/excuse.

I went through it on PS3, but I'll pick it up again if my son is interested too. He liked the movie and comics. Might be fun for a coop romp.

I'm really looking forward to this, but I can wait. I played the hell out of the original on PC, and even it wasn't as smooth a ride as it could've been, so hopefully extra time will get the sequel to where it needs to be.

A PS5 release of FF7Re would be great, I'm itching to play it again.

Amazon's response to internal theft is bizarre. How about the Amazon driver caught on camera scanning the PS5 box as delivered and then putting it back on his truck? Amazon's initial offer for that family was a five pound credit. They didn't even fire the guy at first. WTF?

I was kind of hoping for a really great or truly bad review to help me finalize my buying decision. This middle-of-the-road stuff isn't helpful, Liam! 😛

There's no way they won't release a new game to coincide with the movie. It's definitely coming.

I'm really going back and forth on Immortals. I just deleted WD Legion from my PS5 today because when it wasn't crashing, it was totally boring. I super regret buying digital on that one, and am wary of future Ubisoft.

This was pretty mediocre at best. There are so many better Square classics that could be getting the remaster treatment instead.

Unsurprisingly, my son--who loves sandbox games--has 4 of the top 5 playtimes.
1. Minecraft - 708 hrs
2. Lego Marvel Superheroes - 344 hrs
3. Witcher 3 - 304 hrs
4. Disney Infinity 3.0 - 269 hrs
5. Littlebigplanet 3 - 180 hrs

To be fair, I contributed to the Infinity and Lego Marvel times. Most of my games are somewhere between 40 and 120 hours.

@NinjaWaddleDee I think the game will be great, but this decision will never not be baffling to me.

I want to hear about the true next gen versions before DLC or anything else.

I waffle on getting back into this. I played some cool creations but couldn't get anything going myself, so it felt like half the game was lost on me.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I think I would only take a second go if it were a free upgrade.

My son and I were gung ho on Cuphead at first, but now that we're on the second island, plays are few and far between. There was a massive ramp up in difficulty. Sackboy has our attention these days, and is much less rage inducing.

My PS5 is mouse quiet. It's performed beautifully, except for a single crash during Miles when I was skipping cutscenes during NG+ and a freeze during WD Legion.

Good to hear! I'll pick it up sometime early in the new year, hopefully patched up and a wee cheaper.

@Stuffgamer1 They've always stocked some toys and electronics, which increases during the holidays. They're generally very overpriced.

I've had a single crash while constantly skipping cinematics during my NG+ playthrough of Miles Morales. The system has performed beautifully otherwise. I'll keep my fingers crossed that I'm one of the lucky ones.

I've been looking forward to this for so long, and that footage earlier was not super promising. I'm starting to think first person was a blunder. I'm still going to pick it up, but my expectations have been significantly lowered. I really wish we could get an upgrade date.

I'm enjoying it on PS5 and find most of the controls very intuitive, though I also spent a lot of time with Jurassic World Evolution. But yes, building your own coaster is super confusing when it comes to turns. I'm hoping at some point it just clicks, or maybe even Frontier can change something with a future update.

This is such a great game. I'm closing in on the end of the story. The Venom Blasts and Camouflage really elevate the combat, and it both looks and sounds fantastic. I'm hoping they announce plans for DLC.

Sackboy is absolute joy, and yes, I think this is Sony's best launch lineup. The PS5 is just an all-around wonderful machine so far. I'm hoping Immortals continues the trend.

@KingPev Ha. He's 11. In recent months he's watched all the Elm Streets, Aliens and Friday the 13th, along with Poltergeist and Shaun of the Dead. I think it's time. He also met Bruce Campbell at the age of 7.

So much! A little Miles, a little Planet Coaster. I'll start Sackboy with my son. And I want to finish Leon's path in Resident Evil 2 Remake. Along with a new episode of The Mandalorian and showing my kid Evil Dead 2 for the first time, it's a good weekend.

I'll pick this up in the spring, cheaper and patched, and with greater distance from Odyssey.

Dammit, I pre-ordered this digitally for PS5. A lot of early hands-on write-ups had been praising the pad support.

I received an email from Wal-Mart today saying my pre-order may be delayed. If it's by much, I may just try to snag one in store. Anyone else get this email?

The PS3 and PS4 browsers were slow, janky nightmares for me, so this is no big loss. I'm a little surprised to see that so many people used it, so this sucks for them.

It's going to be a few interesting weeks of gaming with this, Astro, Miles, Sackboy and Planet Coaster to dig into. Just a few more days!

I just want a great story, characters I give a damn about, and an interesting villain. You know, what Andromeda didn't have.

Miles and Planet Coaster day one. I'll zip through Miles and sell it to pick up Sackboy. Valhalla will come sometime early next year after a significant break from Odyssey. And of course Bugsnax for freebies.

Same. I'm inching my way through Alien Isolation. I don't think I've completed a horror game since Silent Hill 2. I would like to give the REmakes a shot, but I'm mostly worried about difficulty there. I don't have as much game time these days, so limited saves aren't up my alley.

Nothing in the US yet. Not that I need anything else right now...

Here's a question that will inevitably be lost in the crush. How the heck do I preorder Planet Coaster Deluxe Edition? It's on the store for PS4 but not 5, and I want the bonus.

I don't know, just that small selection of reviews leans fairly positive. I'm not turned off yet, but I'll still wait and see. I wasn't too hot on the original but absolutely loved WD2.
