If they managed to get Witcher 3 running on Switch I'm sure CDPR can get Cyberpunk running on both current gen machines, im happy to wait til its right. Like Miyamoto said " a delayed game is eventually good, a rushed game is forever bad." (just to clarify I think CP2077 will be great but if its hit with the its broken now so it will always have issues tag it will hurt its legacy much like Arkham Knight's PC)

it'll be good hearing what you guys think, im not partaking at launch - happy to keep plugging away at my PS4 backlog until something must play comes along only on PS5 - but im ready for peoples hot takes

remember when people were saying even Geoff Keighley and Greg Miller couldn't even get pre orders for PS5 😂

I'm pretty surprised they haven't thrown out a Killzone free to play multiplayer game tbh

The only game I'd really miss is DOOM, but that can be solved by either getting gamepass on tablet (and I imagine it will be a Netflix style app at some time on Smart TV?) or by getting a Series S when the inevitable sequel arrives

@710King I'm sorry but the UI being one of the main draws of a games console? how long do people spend just looking at the UI, the only thing that's a draw for me is the games that I get to play not the menus that get me to the games

@Milt I don't get the fascination with seeing the UI, thats one of the things I like about booting up a console for the first time personally

to be fair 22 seconds on PS4 is pretty good, puts most games to shame

It already loads pretty quick compared to most so even quicker is great

No, not at all. If it ends up being the case that I can only play DOOM (the only thing I'd miss from those studios right now) on Xbox id just pick up a Series S in a few years. Right now what is coming from the Zenimax studios that is close to release apart from Deathloop & Ghostwire?

@SirAngry people are expecting higher because of the tech inside I guess? I was always thinking around the $450/£400 Mark even before we saw the Xbox prices purely because I dont think Sony would make the mistakes of the PS3 again. Having the "For The Players" slogan then pricing a load of people out of the machines would be crazy. I still think we could see a Saturn/PS1 moment where they come out and say its massively under the rivals price.

@Ken_Kaniff I've seen around that it costs $450 to manufacture each machine so they could go at that i suppose? Additional things like Plus and Now could help to make it sell at cost, I doubt they'll want to do that buts it's an option for them.

@David187 I don't think it will be a day and date at launch but if it was going to be that way it wouldn't make me give up on console gaming

I have zero issue with it, won't stop me buying a PS5 if Horizon Forbidden West is on PC at day one as well

I'm not sold on it the combat still looks great but I worry it'll be stacked with microtransactions

having played the beta over the weekend no amount of Spiderman would make me pick it up, I knew it would be a Destiny-like but I expected better than a button masher against waves of enemies

Playstation 4 exclusive games do seem to have had a simplified list compared to their PS3 counter parts. Working on TLOU2's but its on the back burner now Ghost is out but I've got the majority of the exclusive games (that I've played) plats this gen going back to Infamous Second Son & The Order 1886.

for the head of a company that doesn't really have that great of an exclusive list to talk about i think this is a bit rich from Phil, Sony could have just phoned in the rest of the current gen with the PS4 being the success its been but they kept releasing massive games. I really have no idea where the good will for Microsoft comes from to be honest ive enjoyed games on Xbox but the way they get talked about sometimes youd think they were stopping wars.

@Dezzy70 Don't get me wrong I'm positive there will be a set of games that I want to play by the end of next year but I'd much rather get played what I want to play while I have my PS4, like I said I'm tempted by Spiderman MM I'm not saying I won't rush out and get one but I'm more than happy to wait at the moment
