7.5 or 8.5? So, will it be above average or above average?
God, I hate review scores.
@get2sammyb
You raise a good point. The game is less than a month and a half from release and it doesn't feel like Sony is hyping it like you'd think they would. This is both the latest entry in a very popular series and their first huge post-launch first party release. Where's the excitement?
@LDXD It's different. Whether it's better or worse is obviously a matter of opinion. The major difference is that in Oblivion and Skyrim it's possible to do everything in the game with a single character whether being able to makes sense or not, so it feels like it's a little less about actual roleplaying. I suppose you could always just refuse to do things you don't think would make sense for your character, but I for one have always appreciated it when games like this acknowledge that sometime making one choice means you can't make certain other choices. I guess I prefer replay value and a sense of role to sheer content overload, but that's just me.
I picked, "Despite picking up Sony’s new machine, I can’t stop playing my PS3" only replace PS3 with Vita. So many games so little time. I work a long, boring, mostly empty overnight shift, so it's very nice to be able to fill that time with gaming on my Vita and I can't play PS4 at work. Well, I suppose technically I could with remote play, if the WiFi at work didn't suck.
Robot Chicken's an acquired taste and even if you like it, it can be pretty hit or miss at times. That said, I liked the Playstation All Stars ad and I liked this one. The kill and the planking punchline both made me laugh out loud and that's not bad for a minute long commercial.
@DrJoeystein Apparently I only like even numbered Assassins Creeds as I hated the first one, but loved part two and currently enjoying the hell out of Black Flag.
It makes sense that this wouldn't require PS+ considering it already has a monthly fee of which I'm sure Sony takes a cut. Beyond that, it's an MMO so not interested. Looks good if you like that kind of thing though.
It's always something with Microsoft, it seems. They've decided to change their previous policy and allow indie devs to self publish on their platform . . . but!
Stuff like this is a big part of why I decided to return to the Sony fold after going with a 360 last generation. I really hope this policy backfires on them like it should, it does nothing but hurt developers, hurt gamers and make them look bad. How many times do they have to face a big backlash before they learn their lesson about pulling stunts like this?
@Spidernoir I'm guessing mostly indulgent parents of dumb children and clueless parents of kids who'll be over the moon to be getting a PS4, but then crying because Angry Birds was the only game they got with it.
It takes balls to charge $50 for a console version of a $1 smart phone game that barely features any new content. Also, what exactly is the justification for charging an extra $10 for the PS4, Xbox One and Wii U over the versions for earlier consoles?
Is there any reason this isn't a $5 downloadable PSN/XBLA title other than Activision's naked greed?
I picked inFAMOUS in the most anticipated games 2014 poll because at this point, we don't even know if Uncharted or The Order are coming out in 2014. The Order maybe since it's been getting hyped long before the system's release, but Uncharted's just been announced days ago.
It's possibly a little joke on Sony's part, but who knows, they could be serious. Who knows what kind of stuff has been found when receiving returned consoles in the past. If so, I don't think they're saying they won't replace "buggy" consoles, just that if your system is crawling with life you should delouse the sucker first before sending it in. It's already borked, so I guess there'd be no harm in spraying it down with Raid if that were somehow necessary.
It would seem that, at least here in the US, Amazon has broken the street date (Or whatever the digital equivalent is. Download date? on this game. I've already purchased it via Amazon and downloaded it to my PS4. I've only played a few minutes so far, but it seems pretty neat.

Re: Who Would Win Wednesdays: Old Snake vs. Batman
Batman has a plan for every contingency. Solid Snake IS a plan for every contingency.
Snake takes it, hands down.
Re: Review: The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief (PlayStation 3)
@RaymanFan2 The review reads like a review. The score is irrelevent.

The bleeding edge = Just like our earlier games, but with slightly better graphics!
Re: Feature: Five Hotly Anticipated PS4 Games That Should Be on Your Radar in 2014
I voted inFAMOUS only because I'm not convinced The Order is actually coming out in 2014. I guess we'll see.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 18
That, "Lame three hour introduction," was the only part of AssCreed III I actually enjoyed. Ah well, different strokes.
