Re: Hideo Kojima Reckons There's a Reason Death Stranding Didn't Connect with American Critics

Personally, I'm enjoying DS. The atmosphere and the story are what keep me interested. I like FPS games too, but it seems he was trying to say that this game is different from everything. That's supposedly what an auteur does. And in my opinion, it works. COD may have been the focus in the US lately and I think Hideo just noticed it, as the article says. It just offers a different experience from almost everything that's out right now.

Re: Sony: We Haven't Forgotten Why the PS4 Was Successful

@BAMozzy I couldn't agree more. Any time I hear my friends ask for a new remaster/re-release, I just tell them to get a PC and play the superior version. Or stick to the old platform. I'm really enjoying where the PS4 is right now and I can't wait to see what's in store after all these great AAA releases are done.

Luckily, PS4 hasn't been oversaturated with these remasters and the few PS2 classics that ARE there are well chosen. Even though XB1X is "the most powerful games console", the library is lackluster compared to Sony. I wish them well all the same. But the 1st party titles so far have been gathering so much momentum and turning a lot of heads. 4 more years and all that.

Re: Shenmue III in Delay to 2019 Shocker

At this point in time, games taking longer isn't always a bad thing. If they take the time to make FF7 and Shenmue 3 as good as possible, I'm all for it.

That being said, let's hope they don't delay these games too long. Or else they may become dated or just not fit in with future titles that offer a better experience. FF15 is a prime example of what NOT to do.
