Appears sort of generic from what I've seen. Kratos was never a character I enjoyed (probably written that way), and it seems they just wrote him as a gruff man haunted by his past. Which has already been done several times before. Somewhat bland, albeit the combat seems decent.
Perhaps there will be a twist, but right now I'm indifferent to it.
This is gonna be like that part in BotW where they poked fun at cross-dressers by having Link dress up like a lady and having the feminine bearded men. Regardless of whether it is a bait and switch, I'm sure some people will find it offensive and reasonably so. I imagine these types of jokes probably don't help trans people.
Being needlessly loyal to a company is awful in general. As a consumer you should support what's healthy and benefits each other fairly. Not just on the basis of name, or brand.
Fanboy/girl mentality is a cancer that leads to awful practices.
Their inclusion of lootboxes is just another reason that I will never touch this game. Consumers should take more of a stand against these awful practices.
Hopefully we see some gameplay soon. It's endearing that he tries to make his games unique and confusing, but the actual gameplay is what I really care about. So far, he seems to have a fair amount of interesting mechanics in mind.
It's a fun game imo, and it oozes charm (if not a bit too much at times, imo). I mean it has notable flaws mainly with its understandable lack of polish and I also feel it's a bit too giving with it's platforming (mainly in that it gives you too much leeway with mobility), but I'd give it a 7 or 8. Probably an 8.
Fun and acceptable, but nothing that I would consider super duper.

Re: Guide: Upcoming PS4 Games in 2018
A Way Out should be bought just for the legend that is the developer.
Re: Catherine: Full Body's First Trailer May Raise an Eyebrow or Two

Re: Guerrilla Finally Admits That Killzone 2's PS3 Reveal Trailer Was a Big Fat Fake
At least it seems they didn't do it on purpose.
Re: Japanese Sales Charts: PS4 Sturdy, But Utterly Overshadowed by Switch
Why are the two ladies wearing PS4 stickers? lol.
That type of marketing always makes me roll my eyes.
Re: These Amazing Looking Ni no Kuni II Screenshots Should Tide You Over
Looks good. Nothing particularly mind-blowing, but definitely nice looking.
Re: Code Vein's New Trailer Attempts to Make Revenants Relevant
The voice acting rubs me the wrong way, and I just can't take what they're saying seriously. Not the way they're saying it.
I enjoy anime, but this just seems very standard and boring, at least on first impressions.
Re: Hideo Kojima Explains Death Stranding, Blows Minds
@Kidfried I'm just being hopeful tbh. I'm aware of the situation though.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Order Is Established As the Releases Dry Up
It's a bit of a shame that so many of the games on this list implement micro transactions/loot boxes/ over priced DLC to some extent.
Re: Dreams Is Going to Be a Real Awards Magnet
@Octane Any games in mind that you'll redo?

Re: Hands On: Monster Hunter: World Is Shaping Up to Be Something Very, Very Special on PS4
I'm assuming we have to pay to play this game online?
Re: Dreams Is Going to Be a Real Awards Magnet
Looks nice. Do you make your own playable character?
Re: Sony: We Can't Ignore the Nintendo Switch
@KingSandyRavage Terrible battery life, bad/overpriced Dock, flimsy joycons, lack off VC, etc.
There's a bunch they could do. I like the switch, but I do feel like Nintendo rushed it out.
Re: Sony: We Can't Ignore the Nintendo Switch
If they do make something to compete directly with the Switch, hopefully they make it so it improves on the numerous flaws the Switch has.
