if it's days gone I might give it a shot to finish it. I bought it 2nd hand and sold it before I even finished it. maybe I can lower difficulty and run it though to the end. I suppose it had it's moments but it failed to really impress me.

@pip_muzz I was on the fence on getting this someday but your comment has shown me this is not for me. god I hate poor checkpoint placement and unskippable cutscenen. really the bane of gaming for me.

tried one game when it was free on plus but it just really don't like BR games. It also felt very clunky.

@gianca would you recommend the game to someone that enjoyed wildlands?

Or join one of the PS Communities for the game. Surely there will be a lot of people over there hooking up

Another coop game someone recommended to me was Think of the Children. I've downloaded it but have yet to play it. It looks pretty funny though

@GREGORIAN It isn't garbage though, it's just failing to innovate itself. Which isn't strange when you release games yearly. But say you haven't played a FIFA game ever, then it's definitely not a bad game to buy. Plenty of content, decent graphics, a lot of gamemodes both online and offline etc etc.

@J2theEzzo opening it and cleaning with a can of air can help a lot after 5 years. Combined with a clean install of the OS and you'll definitely see some performance improvement. Even more so when you take the opportunity to replace the harddisk with a SSD

The power system sounds a lot like Elite Dangerous where combat revolves for a large part around placing 'blips' at the right place (engine, shield or weapons). But hey if it works it works.

Personally I'm not interested in this but it's good to see a Star Wars game made for a niche of hardcore fans. I'm sure a lot of people will really enjoy this for being more difficult.

Still playing this with my gf every now and then but we consumed every last drop of content. Does anyone have a suggestion for a similar light hearted coop game that is fun for her (noob) and me (gaming for 20+ years)?

A generational leap for me was playing Battlefield 3 on the PS3 with 24 players and 12 fps with half a second input lag, then going to BF4 with 64 players and smooth input.

BF4 was the reason I bought a PS4 and I still play it to this day. PS5 has yet to show me such a game. Maybe Cyberpunk on PS4 and PS5 will have massive differences and could be a system seller.

So you pre-order something that isn't even fully revealed yet AND they allready can't meet the delivery date. Sounds like a great deal. I'm keeping my money in my pocket and will probably walk into a store sometime in 2021 when I know exactly what it is I'm buying and when I will get it.

Hot Pursuit was a decent arcade game but not my cup of tea. There wasn't any braking involved so it's not really racing imo.. If you ask me Hot Pursuit 2 back in the days was without a doubt the best NFS of all. It had a perfect balance between realism and arcade handling, a little bit like Driveclub. Also fantastic (sound)tracks, great police chases (didn't care much for the helicoper shooting missiles though..) and car selection. A remaster of that would be mental.

Since there are so many different builds and ways to tackle a mission this should only add to the replayability. I did complete the Witcher 3 and all it's DLC over the course of a couple of years. I then started a new playthrough but it's just too much to all do again even though I'm curious to how some of the decisions will play out.

Maybe with Cyberpunk being shorter I might do a full 2nd playthrough.

@GhostInAJar Rift Apart looked impressive, but with Horizon etc coming to PS4 it makes you wonder how much these games rely on this SSD, what is supposed to be its biggest selling point.

In my opinion they shouldve opened with a PS5 booting up and launching a game from inside the UI, to show just how fast it is. Put your money where your mouth is. Then show a bunch of games and end the presentation with price, release date and pre order information. Then drop the mic and walk away

yeah I'm not pre-ordering. I mean it looks decent and all but especially the price hike in new games is something I'm not too happy about. Maybe an Xbox with gamepass is a better value at this point. I'll just calmly wait to see how things play out next year. I'm sure the stock will be replenished if and when I'm interested in a PS5.

499 isnt cheap exactly but the 100euro difference will definitely be worth it in the long run by buying 2nd hand copies

I wonder what would be reasonable. I think a free upgrade is too much to ask. But for 5 or 10euro when you allready own the game? Isnt that a win win? And you can allways play the PS4 version on the PS5 to get some improved performance if you're not willing to pay.

@S1ayeR74 I agree Sony should know better. I do think they have their reasons. A console laumch isnt something you do on a monday morning and I think covid has thrown around their plans a lot. Maybe they feel its better to say nothing than make promises they cant keep, because thats even more dangerous

@Kefka2589 Totally agree. Gaming can be expensive if you want to, but if you have patience and make smart decisions it's easy to get an amazing value for money.

@S1ayeR74 I'm not sure how you translate a Twitter sh*tstorm to a lack of interest..? People are very interested, just a bit fed up with waiting. And these days when people are mildly annoyed about something they start a rampage on social media.

History repeats itself... again we have an excellent Modern Warfare followed by a crappy Black Ops. Nice to see some PS5 footage though.

@Kefka2589 I totally agree, when you look at the amount of pleasure a console will bring and the cost per hour and I allmost feel guilty. No other hobby I have is this cheap. However I do still look for a good deal when buying games and consoles. Paying 60 euro for a game on release day when you know it will be halved in price a few months later is something I can't justify to myself. Maybe because I'm Dutch..

@bbq_boy yes there are. Simply look at the sales of games like CoD, FIFA and GTA. Games that appeal to the masses sell like hot cakes.

Might get this later down the line especially if it has full backward compatibility. Might play some Xbox exclusives I never got around to. Forza horizon being on top of the list. However I will definitely still get a PS5 at some point in the future (not likely at launch)

@jmac1686 same here but I'm slowly leaning more towards a gaming pc, I really want to play strategy games again.. it's also very much possible to hook up your pc to your tv and play games with a controller. Steam supports all kinds of controllers. So couch gaming isn't exclusive to consoles.

@I_Like_It thats unlikely from CDPR. Its a huge open world so surely there'll be some bugs but they value quality high enough imo

@Areus that would be a shame but i agree that might be more likely. Besides anything is a upgrade from ME1 combat.

Mostly curious to know what kind of remaster it will be. A proper remaster with combat similar to ME:A would be very welcome especially for ME1. If it's just a HD remake I don't really care.

Still working my way through PC2 so not that bothered that this is a departure from the usual sim games they make. However it's definitely strange they chose to call it a numerical sequel to PC2. I might get this eventually. Maybe it'll be on Plus later down the line.

Ill add them both and probably give PUBG a chance, even though not a single battle royale game has keept me interested for long.

Lol. They really had no idea to do with this release. So they checked out and released it on plus. I'm happy though, ond of the best campaigns imo

@gollumb82 it's definitely a fun game. It's a lot more like Fallout NV than Mass Effect though. The quests can be completed in a lot of different ways and a with a lot of different outcomes which is really cool. The minute to minute gameplay of shooting and looting gets a bit stale after a while. Probably because the combat is a bit too easy and there are way too many items to pick up so it becomes a bit tedious.
