Re: Third-Party Move Controllers On the Way in April

James

Just remembered this from the first post:

"Both controllers feature a rubberized shell for better grip and an ergonomic design. In order to keep up with future firmware updates, both controllers have built-in USB ports so that they can be quickly and easily updated with the latest software."

Job done

@lipnox You'd have to ask them, not me!

@GoldenCannon Good question. I would assume it would be just different enough so as not to infringe on patents, but remember a lot of this technology — accelerometers, gyroscopes etc. — is pretty commonplace nowadays, so should be easy to replicate without cramping anyone's style.

I think it's more a bonus if you have multiple players who each want their own unique controller. I'm particularly fussy about my Wii Remotes for example — I have to use the black one, and my guests may only use the white ones. I'd like a blue Move very much.

Re: Review: Killzone 3 (PlayStation 3)

I only got around to a quick dabble with Botzone but I think it's a great idea. I hate getting owned online but still like the idea of competitive play, so this is just what I was after. I'll have to pick the game up again in future.

Great review, Chris

There's stereoscopic 3D support on PS3 which might make it worth the extra money if you have a 3DTV. Also you jump by pushing a button, which is good, but I believe it's the same on the Wii version of de Blob 2. Totally down to personal preference!

@turtlelink Not sure yet, all Teyon would tell me is it's definitely under development and it's heading to retail. However, the game's box art is just a slightly recoloured version of the art for HF: SpecOps, so perhaps it's a compilation? We'll do our best to find out.
