@Strider_Hiryu Wii U is marketed to gamers who skipped out on Wii, as well as those wanting to take their Wii experience to the next level. Not sure I'd say that's starting from scratch
@coroum When a game "goes gold" it gets turned into a "master" copy from which all others are reproduced. It basically means the game is finished, and Sony is ready to start physically manufacturing it.
@KALofKRYPTON I must be honest and say I have never played IL Sturmovik, so I can't compare the two, nor have I used the Thrustmaster stick you mention. Sorry!
I think the idea is also to drive down used game prices, so if they offer the pass for $10 then the retailer should make the price difference $10 too. Often pre-owned games are only $2 or $5 cheaper than new, and those dollars all add up of course. Interesting discussion though and something we'll see more of in future!
@Gertmint There are some decent ones out there but nothing really has got everything right. John Daly's ProStroke Golf is still worth a try though if you find it cheaply!
For me, the Move controls in VT4 are better, it's just a shame you can only use them in exhibition matches. Top Spin 4 features far more uses for the controls, they're just not as good. Neither is perfect, but Move-wise VT4 has the edge for my money.
Microsoft did it with Gears of War 3, wasn't that supposed to be out last year? Personally I wish they'd shown a little bit of it off but I think most of the Move stuff was pretty good on the whole!
Very, very exciting news. I love Everybody's Golf (that's what we call Hot Shots!), so if the Move support for this is good I will hug my Move controller until it breaks.
I remember someone telling me once that third-party controllers have to make a certain number of changes to the original design, such as different button designs, grips etc., to avoid patent infringement. Of course I might have just made that up but who knows? :3
For me it's inFAMOUS and LittleBigPlanet, two games I always meant to get but never did. Perhaps I should buy a PSP as well, though I'd want Killzone Liberation and Everybody's Golf 2. Drat.
Welcome to the site, @japongt! Glad you appreciated the review — this really is very similar to the Wii version, too much so to recommend it unless you're dying for a Michael Jackson karaoke game, in which case this is your best (only) option!
@Wastedyuthe I totally understand your frustration, I too thought we'd be enjoying full motion gaming by this stage in the controller's lifespan. Hopefully EA will unveil Grand Slam Tennis soon and that will be the motion-controlled title you're after!

Re: New Little King's Story Coming to Vita
Me too Pat, me too. But hey, NEW LITTLE KING'S STORY EVERYONE.
Re: New Little King's Story Coming to Vita
Day one buy. Pure and simple.
Re: Little Big Planet Vita Trailer Showcases Robot Dinosaurs
The Internet is not a race.
Re: LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack Out Next Month
@xj0462 As I said above, it won't be free.
Re: Move Mind Benders Holds Three Puzzlers in One
Tumble in particular is great fun, but I'm most excited about Lemmings. I used to love it back in the day!
Re: LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack Out Next Month
Nope, no news on when and it definitely won't be free.
Re: PS Vita's Development Kit Is Very Affordable
@gamrgod5 Depends if you're a games developer selling your game at $40 a time I guess
Re: Ubisoft Confirms Assassin's Creed and Lumines for PS Vita
Goddamnit, with Lumines and Everybody's Golf all they need to announce is Monster Hunter and I'm on board just like I was with PSP like a chump.
Re: Talking Point: Why Push PlayStation Vita to 2012?
@Strider_Hiryu Wii U is marketed to gamers who skipped out on Wii, as well as those wanting to take their Wii experience to the next level. Not sure I'd say that's starting from scratch

Re: PlayStation Vita Launching 2012 in Europe and North America
@AbuJaffer Apparently the Japanese launch has Uncharted and Wipeout, which isn't bad all in all.
Re: PS Vita Doubles as a PS3 Controller
@Roopa132 I did not know the system had L3 and R3 buttons. Someone told me they didn't! Good to know though
Re: Supremacy MMA Bruises Vita Later This Year
@Zephren Vita isn't out yet and this site is just getting started. We have big plans to make it very popular indeed!
Re: Review: National Geographic Challenge! (PlayStation 3)
Your choice! You can have a Move each or pass one between you
Re: Combat Wings is Move's Second World War II Plane Game
@Waggler I got the impression from my guy at City that the game was due later this year, but perhaps he meant the Wii version? I'll clarify anyway
Update: According to City all versions will be out this year, and they're hoping for a simultaneous release on all formats
Re: Review: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II (PlayStation 3)
Yep, you can use the Navigation
Re: Review: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II (PlayStation 3)
@Naiyo True, but normally when you play a game with Move features you'd expect at least a little bit of ingenuity, right?
Re: Capcom COO: Monster Hunter Vita Has To Happen
3G and regular content download is a must. This will likely make me buy a Vita, damn you...
Re: Review: Let's Dance with Mel B (PlayStation 3)
@turtlelink Yes, I believe so!
Re: Japan's Hot Shots Golf is Now Move-Enabled, But Ours Isn't
Yeah I suppose so, certainly not the first time we've seen this!
Re: Review: Air Conflicts: Secret Wars (PlayStation 3)
@KALofKRYPTON I must be honest and say I have never played IL Sturmovik, so I can't compare the two, nor have I used the Thrustmaster stick you mention. Sorry!
However our friends over at iWaggle3D have put together a really nice Air Conflicts: Secret Wars Move video that I hope will be informative to you!
Re: Out Today: Sega Rally Online Arcade (Europe)
Yep, and a steering wheel too

Re: Sony Japan Reveals Move Bundle for Hot Shots Golf PS3
@Tatsumaru Looks like it'll be free, but we're waiting on that confirmation still.
Hopefully the Move controls here are up-to-par with the rest of the game. I love Everybody's Golf!
Re: Out Today: Air Conflicts: Secret Wars (UK)
I played this last night. It's... er... interesting. Review early/mid next week
Re: Out Today: Air Conflicts: Secret Wars (UK)
@Slapshot You have to wait until August!
Re: Try Out Virtua Tennis 4's Move Controls for Free on PSN
For me, the Move controls in VT4 are better, it's just a shame you can only use them in exhibition matches. Top Spin 4 features far more uses for the controls, they're just not as good. Neither is perfect, but Move-wise VT4 has the edge for my money.
Re: PlayStation Move + Tiny Monkeys + Stripping = Dancing Eyes
I don't know, but considering my experience reviewing We Dare I think I know how it's going to end...
Re: PlayStation Move + Tiny Monkeys + Stripping = Dancing Eyes
@turtlelink I've covered some weird stuff in my time, look at my archives of WTF Nintendo, WTF Kinect and WTF Move stuff!
Re: Review: Sega Rally Online Arcade (PlayStation Network)
@Slapshot(where's the 82 gone?!) If only we had a SEGA website we could all populate together!
Re: Out Today: Greg Hastings Paintball 2 (PlayStation Network)
I'm afraid I did!
Re: Out Today: Greg Hastings Paintball 2 (PlayStation Network)
Haha, I think the Internet's phrase for this would be "epic fail". Red faces all around!
Re: E3 2011 MIA: What Happened to Sorcery?
Microsoft did it with Gears of War 3, wasn't that supposed to be out last year? Personally I wish they'd shown a little bit of it off but I think most of the Move stuff was pretty good on the whole!
Re: Hot Shots Golf Finally Gets Move and 3D Support
@dmmp1234 Not yet, it's expected this summer. As soon as it's confirmed we'll have news for you here
Re: Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest Trailer Rattles Them Bones
Not sure really, none of them are using Navigation controllers and the press release mentions multiple pathways. We'll look into it!
Re: Hot Shots Golf Finally Gets Move and 3D Support
Of course! I'll probably be reviewing it myself as I've done all the other golf games and happen to love Everybody's Golf (did I mention that?)
Re: Hot Shots Golf Finally Gets Move and 3D Support
Very, very exciting news. I love Everybody's Golf (that's what we call Hot Shots!), so if the Move support for this is good I will hug my Move controller until it breaks.
Re: SEGA Confirms Four More Vita Titles
You got my hopes up for Bayonetta then! Would love to see the witch make a portable appearance with touch screen controls
Re: Memorex Shows Off New Move and Navigation Controllers
I remember someone telling me once that third-party controllers have to make a certain number of changes to the original design, such as different button designs, grips etc., to avoid patent infringement. Of course I might have just made that up but who knows? :3
Re: Sony America Welcomes You Back with These Games
I suppose if you own these games on disc already, you could trade them in and download the digital versions. No point having duplicates!
Re: Sony Europe Details Games to Welcome You Back
Then enjoy those extra games, @Roopa132
For me it's inFAMOUS and LittleBigPlanet, two games I always meant to get but never did. Perhaps I should buy a PSP as well, though I'd want Killzone Liberation and Everybody's Golf 2. Drat.
Re: Prepare for Travis's Touchdown with No More Heroes Trailer
@grenworthshero You forgot about us? How could you? It's out in the UK soon so we'll have a review for you pretty soon
Re: Out Today: Virtua Tennis 4 (North America)
Agreed — this is much more enjoyable with Move than Top Spin 4 is, but it's such a shame you can't do as much with it!
Re: Rumour: Natsume to Show Off Rune Factory: Oceans at E3
@zezzy Move is optional! Day one buy for me too, I'd love some HD farming action
Re: Sony's E3 2011 News Conference Details Confirmed
@Roopa132 We'll have a news round-up in the morning so hopefully you won't miss anything

Re: Rumour: Motion Sports Adrenaline Flowing to Move
@dmmp1234 The page puts it down as "Move exclusive" so sounds like this won't be a DualShock game fitted for Move, which is great!
Re: Review: Virtua Tennis 4 (PlayStation 3)
@Wastedyuthe I totally understand your frustration, I too thought we'd be enjoying full motion gaming by this stage in the controller's lifespan. Hopefully EA will unveil Grand Slam Tennis soon and that will be the motion-controlled title you're after!
Re: Let's Dance with Mel B Screenshots Show a Lack of Mel B
@din_djinn Because it's out on Wii now, and Wii owners love dancing and fitness games. Truth!
