@Strider_Hiryu Wii U is marketed to gamers who skipped out on Wii, as well as those wanting to take their Wii experience to the next level. Not sure I'd say that's starting from scratch

@coroum When a game "goes gold" it gets turned into a "master" copy from which all others are reproduced. It basically means the game is finished, and Sony is ready to start physically manufacturing it.

@AbuJaffer Apparently the Japanese launch has Uncharted and Wipeout, which isn't bad all in all.

@Roopa132 I did not know the system had L3 and R3 buttons. Someone told me they didn't! Good to know though

I think the idea is also to drive down used game prices, so if they offer the pass for $10 then the retailer should make the price difference $10 too. Often pre-owned games are only $2 or $5 cheaper than new, and those dollars all add up of course. Interesting discussion though and something we'll see more of in future!

@Gertmint There are some decent ones out there but nothing really has got everything right. John Daly's ProStroke Golf is still worth a try though if you find it cheaply!

@Tatsumaru Looks like it'll be free, but we're waiting on that confirmation still.

Hopefully the Move controls here are up-to-par with the rest of the game. I love Everybody's Golf!

For me, the Move controls in VT4 are better, it's just a shame you can only use them in exhibition matches. Top Spin 4 features far more uses for the controls, they're just not as good. Neither is perfect, but Move-wise VT4 has the edge for my money.

Microsoft did it with Gears of War 3, wasn't that supposed to be out last year? Personally I wish they'd shown a little bit of it off but I think most of the Move stuff was pretty good on the whole!

Not sure really, none of them are using Navigation controllers and the press release mentions multiple pathways. We'll look into it!

Very, very exciting news. I love Everybody's Golf (that's what we call Hot Shots!), so if the Move support for this is good I will hug my Move controller until it breaks.

You got my hopes up for Bayonetta then! Would love to see the witch make a portable appearance with touch screen controls

I remember someone telling me once that third-party controllers have to make a certain number of changes to the original design, such as different button designs, grips etc., to avoid patent infringement. Of course I might have just made that up but who knows? :3

I suppose if you own these games on disc already, you could trade them in and download the digital versions. No point having duplicates!

For me it's inFAMOUS and LittleBigPlanet, two games I always meant to get but never did. Perhaps I should buy a PSP as well, though I'd want Killzone Liberation and Everybody's Golf 2. Drat.

Agreed — this is much more enjoyable with Move than Top Spin 4 is, but it's such a shame you can't do as much with it!

Welcome to the site, @japongt! Glad you appreciated the review — this really is very similar to the Wii version, too much so to recommend it unless you're dying for a Michael Jackson karaoke game, in which case this is your best (only) option!

@dmmp1234 The page puts it down as "Move exclusive" so sounds like this won't be a DualShock game fitted for Move, which is great!

@Wastedyuthe I totally understand your frustration, I too thought we'd be enjoying full motion gaming by this stage in the controller's lifespan. Hopefully EA will unveil Grand Slam Tennis soon and that will be the motion-controlled title you're after!

@din_djinn Because it's out on Wii now, and Wii owners love dancing and fitness games. Truth!
