Re: Combat Wings is Move's Second World War II Plane Game

James

@Waggler I got the impression from my guy at City that the game was due later this year, but perhaps he meant the Wii version? I'll clarify anyway

Update: According to City all versions will be out this year, and they're hoping for a simultaneous release on all formats

Re: Sony to Start PSN Pass Scheme with Resistance 3

James

I think the idea is also to drive down used game prices, so if they offer the pass for $10 then the retailer should make the price difference $10 too. Often pre-owned games are only $2 or $5 cheaper than new, and those dollars all add up of course. Interesting discussion though and something we'll see more of in future!

Re: Try Out Virtua Tennis 4's Move Controls for Free on PSN

James

For me, the Move controls in VT4 are better, it's just a shame you can only use them in exhibition matches. Top Spin 4 features far more uses for the controls, they're just not as good. Neither is perfect, but Move-wise VT4 has the edge for my money.

Re: E3 2011 MIA: What Happened to Sorcery?

James

Microsoft did it with Gears of War 3, wasn't that supposed to be out last year? Personally I wish they'd shown a little bit of it off but I think most of the Move stuff was pretty good on the whole!

Re: Memorex Shows Off New Move and Navigation Controllers

James

I remember someone telling me once that third-party controllers have to make a certain number of changes to the original design, such as different button designs, grips etc., to avoid patent infringement. Of course I might have just made that up but who knows? :3

Re: Sony Europe Details Games to Welcome You Back

James

Then enjoy those extra games, @Roopa132

For me it's inFAMOUS and LittleBigPlanet, two games I always meant to get but never did. Perhaps I should buy a PSP as well, though I'd want Killzone Liberation and Everybody's Golf 2. Drat.

Re: Review: Virtua Tennis 4 (PlayStation 3)

James

@Wastedyuthe I totally understand your frustration, I too thought we'd be enjoying full motion gaming by this stage in the controller's lifespan. Hopefully EA will unveil Grand Slam Tennis soon and that will be the motion-controlled title you're after!
