@Matroska I forgot there was a front and back row. Yes, very few fights in the original that proved challenging. Just a handful of bosses really, most of which were optional. Will be interesting to see how people get on with the standard difficulty in the remake.
@Paranoimia I remember seeing news stories about zavvi being a nightmare. And game.co.uk as well. Best avoided I'm sure. Personally I had problems with shopto. They shipped multiple copies of the same game to both me and a friend on release day and blamed us even though it was clearly on them. Had to go via the bank to get it refunded in the end, shopto were awful.
Not many reliable sites out there with decent customer service strangely. You'd think there would be in 2019.
To be honest I preferred ps+ when we were given indie games. Batman AK came out 4 years ago. And the other game just isn't very good. Come on Sony, give us the occasional bonus game every couple of months. As @themcnoisy suggests, a nice mix would be good to see.
Don't forget Gearbox's CEO, Randy. Recently shared a video of animal abuse on his Twitter. The account he shared it from was quickly banned by Twitter.
As usual, no apology from him, he made it clear it was no mistake. Some awful people involved in this game.
Certainly odd behaviour, although people here using discriminatory slurs in response are worse. Maybe consider what the words you're using actually mean before you use them, spreading hate isn't and will never be cool.
@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy PSone port is definitely the best version that was made. But this one having 4 player split screen, a platinum trophy and online play are all rather nice additions. And for the price it's hard to say no.
@kyleforrester87 Easy to say if you have very reliable internet all year round but many don't have that luxury. Which means there are times they wouldn't be able to play an offline retro game they purchased. Just one of a few problems players would face. So a fuss yes, but not about nothing.
Almost bought this the other day but picked up Devil May Cry 5 instead. Hope to play it at some point, looks fun despite reviews suggesting it's not the best FPS out there.
There was actually a battle royale mode on Metal Gear Online on the PS3. I wonder if he knows that. The twist was everyone was equipped with a camo invisibility suit, was great fun. A shame they turned the servers off.
They ought to cave to all demands, I'm demanding an isometric pov as well as a 2D sidescroller mode. Failure to comply will result in mutterings under my breath and then buying the game anyway.
@AdamNovice Agreed, I'm happy to give them the benefit of the doubt that they know what best suits the game they're making. I think 1st person or 3rd person can be equally immersive, all down to the skill of the developer.

Could it be.. a new G-Police!?
Re: E3 as We Know It Is Dead, E3 2020 Set to Be a 'Fan, Media, and Influencer Festival'
I concur, this does sound awful. Going to steer well clear of it.
Re: Klonoa and Mr. Driller Remasters are Coming Soon, Bandai Namco Trademarks Confirm
Nice one, would love a remaster / remake for Armored Core as well.
Re: Borderlands 3 Split-Screen Co-Op Is a Technical Disaster on PS4
Now you know why most sites weren't given review code before launch. They are a devious lot, nothing new there.

Re: Hoodie-ken! Zavvi Launch New Street Fighter Clothing Range
@Paranoimia
Always nice when they apologise.
I use base.com and amazon. No issues so far, although I don't order online very often.
Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake Has a Classic Turn-Based Option for Purists, Sort Of
Sounds like it makes the game a lot more accessible, always a good thing.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 going for £16.74. Tempting.
Re: Commodore 64 Classic Monty on the Run Recreated in Dreams on PS4
Fantastic, this looks brilliant. Will definitely have to check this one out.

I miss the original 2D version.
Re: First Person RPG Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have First Person Cutscenes
Disgraceful, I and untold billions demand isometric cutscenes!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 285

New solo mode came with an update a few days ago. I think it's just temporary though.

Been giving the solo mode on Apex Legends a whirl.

Anyone tried it in VR yet? Would like to see some impressions.
Re: Activision Looking into Possibly Making New Crash and Spyro Content, More Retro Remakes
More retro remakes sounds good. I don't know which ips Activision owns though. Hopefully other publishers consider this as well.

Re: No Man's Sky's Beyond Update Launches 14th August Along with PSVR Support
@Sinton
It does sound like a very different game now, a re-review is a good shout I think.

Just all the good content.

Re: Microsoft CEO: Cloud Partnership Is 'All Driven by Sony'
Interesting although I'd like to see some clarification on exactly how Microsoft are benefiting from this partnership.

Good news, well done to those who complained.
Re: The Original DOOM Trilogy Is Now Available on PS4
I love classic Doom, this is very tempting. Each game has its own platinum trophy too as they should.

Re: Detective Thriller Blacksad: Under the Skin Delayed to November
Sounds sensible, most games only get reviewed on release after all. Best to squish as many as those bugs as they can.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Will Dance in the Dark without Lady Gaga
I'm indifferent to her participation either way but I find the amount of apparent hate in the comments here quite disturbing. What's that about?
Re: Hands On: Detective Drama Blacksad Will Get Under Your Skin
Nice write up, does sound very promising. Hope they do a good job with the fine tuning, clearly a lot of potential here.

Re: PS Vita's Not Quite Done Yet, Despite Reports to the Contrary
