I remember playing RE 1&2 as a kid and jumping at parts. Silent hill 2 was another good horror game that also had me losing sleep. I really hope this game brings the old horror genre back to gaming.

We in America can not download the game until 12:00am sept. 17. Absolutely bogus!! I was hoping to be playing at midnight not having a overnight download that I'm sure will be severely hindered by the amount of people who will be swarming to download it at the same time. I'm not happy about this >

I had preordered the game at gamestop and target (just in case lol) but decided today to just download it. I have 100+ gigs left on my fairly new 500 gb PS3 so why not. I'm friggin pumped and can't wait to play!!

Mine is also paid in full.. Thank god for gta 5 otherwise the wait would have been unbareable.

$549.99 I own both consoles but I'd buy this for my son for chritmas without hesitation. I believe $500 could be done because software sales would do better on the vita and Sony needs to save the vita it's a awesome handheld, plus it would attract more people looking to go the xb1 route.

Friggin sweet!!!! I will be using my beats by dre. I have a 7 month old and my girl wakes up at 6am for work so I've been using my old X-11, this will be extremely usefull. Very very nice feature. Just another reason to love Sony and be thankful I already payed for my Ps4.

@Lelouch I consider myself a hardcore gamer and am not a fan at all of indie games although I applaud the creativity that alot of the AAA game devs lack. I preordered the PS4 because it is the more capable machine is more price friendly and I've always liked the PS. While I'd like to see more big titles then indies I don't mind at all and if indies help build the PS online community I'm all for it!

I think the soundtrack looks pretty good I like the hip hop tracks especially elevators by outkast. The punk groups are pretty good too with black flag and the defendants. I don't understand the distaste for it.

Kilzone beta red dead and I may throw in some fall out new vegas.

Looking at the launch titles from xb1 I'd assume it will release after the PS4, besides it wouldn't come out so soon as to sway the enormous pre orders and smart gamers.

@Cloud7794 2, 5, and 6 I agree with strongly! 6 more than any being a ps plus member already I don't mind it being mandatory, but I'm interested in what changes are to come with what will surely add a massive boost to the plus service. I'd like to add also the compatibility with cross play, I'd like a good amount of detail on where exactly they are heading with that. Does Sony have a gauge on publishers utilizing this feature or will it be ignored as it is being with this current gen.

I have preordered a ps4 and plan to buy both consoles eventually..if xbox launches first, like last gen I will hold off 2 years to buy a playstation transferring my $400 to a xbox.

Normally I hate the concept of DLC what with publishers half making games in order to profit from it. It seems for example.. assasin creed games get less and less lengthy in chapter just to have DLC out within its first month when it's obvious it's been created before the games release! Put that content in the game from the start!!! It frustrates me lol. Games like skyrim, far cry, ect. They do it properly and I WILL be purchasing this DLC because this game was certainly done right.

I have come to enjoy soccer (football) games.. perhaps it would be fun for you to try mlb the show it is quite impressive, and baseball is a beautiful sport once fully understood. There are slight similarities that's the reason for the suggestion.

P.S I play with Liverpool I got rid of Suarez though, no room for his antics.

@ajaychitown the last of us is an amazing game! It transcends any system dude lol. I agree with you almost fully, but.....Sony can strive by supporting their older systems because not everyone will move forward from their systems right away. I know many people who won't move forward until prices are lowed or the game quality becomes so far beyond PS3 it's overly obvious. It was the same way with ps2 and Sony did quite fine with ps2 while the ps3 was on the market. Sony is actually doing the right thing here, where I feel they are slipping a tad bit is they are constantly trying to counter Microsofts flaws where as they should be showing off the strengths of the PS4.

I'm not so fast to "throw my money" seeing I'm not a fan boy just a man who appreciates a well put together system with a gamers first mind set. I was once a xbox guy after my ps2 would no longer play DVD rom and I had to buy purple bottom discs and turn my PS2 upside down to play them lol..I would like to see a gamer first attitude, clearification of how the ram with the PS4 will be used more so for gaming in the future, and for god sakes please roll out some full fledged ps vita games....please! I will "throw some money" if I am shown vita games that looks as amazing as killzone merc. Show me some vita variety western RPGs, open world games I.e gta (not gonna happen) or something similar, GT or a good racer, ect. I will never be a fan boy, sega messed that up for me (especially now that they won't give Yu the shenmue license) but PS is my current gaming system and I want to know what direction it's going in for me and gamers like me, I'm hoping to be excited about my fully payed gamestop PS4 preorder and my vita investment. GAMES GAMES GAMES!!!!!!

Cover it with electric tape if you find the light a big deal lol..I game in the dark but I doubt this will matter much seeing my LCD/LED makes my room uninhabitable to any and all vampires anyway.

@ajay708 far cry 3 is or may be one of the best and most creative FPS ever! I'm pretty sure it wasn't underrated although the muti-player was. Sad cause I enjoyed the online experience but there weren't many people playing it.

Uncharted 3, cod blops 2 (unfortunately I have an addiction), saints row the 3rd, fallout new vegas, and maybe ill finally start mass effect 2 since I've had it for 8 months and haven't even touched it. My girl is out of state so ill be playing alot of games!

Simple answer....yes! I don't need my gaming system watching me lay the wood to my girl, xbox is big brother. If I purchase a game and it sucks I deserve the right as a gamer to trade it in even if its well under value. I can't imagine why an xbox fan boy wouldn't cross over after seeing their system becoming an over priced less powerful spybot. Screw xbox any fanboy should feel like Jodi foster on a pinball machine somewhere in the Deep South. Microsoft is an american company who cares nothing for America..their crap policies will take many jobs (gamestop gamefly ect.) from a economy in dire need of them as they export jobs to Mexico china and any other country with young children and no worker laws, not to mention when you call Microsoft a simple customer support question becomes a test of my bilingual abilities. Sony wins because they listened to their fans and it proves they pay attention to the hand that feeds their greedy little mouths. Sony WINS! Hands down!!
