Just finishing Detroit Become Human. I’ve really, really enjoyed it but have found it pretty stressful - just don’t want to get anyone killed.

@Octane - it can be really frustrating when you slip off the see-saws but you can reduce the chance of this by looking ahead to plan your route, and try dropping on to the steeper ones rather than jumping. I hit level 40 today (the joys of being out of work thanks to Covid!) but have never failed to qualify in this event. Hope this helps!

The Sands of Time was one of my all time favourites. Fingers crossed for a remake.

Just finished Killzone Shadow Fall and I can’t believe how well it stands up considering it’s 7 years old. I’m just getting started on Greedfall and have enjoyed the first 3 hours

Sony did a good job setting appropriate expectations before hand. With that in mind, I thought this was pretty good. Crash 4 and The Pathless looked particularly exciting.

Good for us PS4 owners, but if I owned another console I’d be tempted to boycott this release rather than end up with a second rate version of the game. I don’t really agree with this kind of exclusivity and hope it doesn’t backfire on the developers.

Been without Plus for over a year now and thinking of signing up again - Fall Guys looks like my kind of multiplayer!

@thefirst - Oh, I have no doubt an event focusing on PS5 would be far more exciting! 🙂

I won’t be jumping into PS5 for at least a year or 2, so for me it’s quite a relief to see the PS4 still has a bit of life left in it!

Continuing in my mission to get the most out of PSNow before my (accidental) subscription runs out, I’ve just finished Metro Exodus and am about to start Wolfenstein II The New Colossus. I’m even starting to quite like shooters! :/

I would have been impressed if I hadn’t seen the PlayStation showcase. Sadly, in comparison this was rather lacklustre. I did like the look of The Medium and the one that was reminiscent of Life Is Strange (can’t remember the name). The important thing is Psychonauts 2 is not an Xbox exclusive 🤗

Looking forward to this. I absolutely loved the first game. Just hope we don’t have to go back to that meat/circus level >shivers<

Just found out I hadn’t cancelled PSNow, like I thought (*****!) so having blitzed through Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 3 days, I’m now trying to do the same with Metro Exodus. I’m going to get my money’s worth if it kills me!

Really liked the look of Watch Dogs Legion but was disappointed that there was nothing on Beyond Good and Evil 2. My own fault for having unrealistic expectations, but it seems like we are way overdue for an announcement on this (even if it’s just to say they have pulled the plug on it 😥)

Nice to see things are back to normal around here.

I don’t understand any of this. Clearly this is not a 0 out of 10 game - TLOU2 is definitely being targeted by a large number of very sad and bitter individuals. If you have played the game and not enjoyed it, fair enough but at least be adult enough to attribute it with a fair and representative score.

Just finished The Witcher 3 DLC, Blood and Wine this morning, which I enjoyed more than the main game. Now trying out PS Now... Sadly my internet connection isn’t fast enough for streaming, so I won’t be extending beyond the free 7-day trial. Never mind, will try to get the most out of it by spending the weekend playing Control

70% off Days Gone on the PS Store - I’d say it’s time to go shopping....

Wow - I hope this becomes standard and other developers (ok - I mean From Software) start implementing this. There are worlds I really want to explore, which at the moment, I don’t have the skill or patience for....

Really disappointed, but the decision is entirely understandable.

Hope that Sony feel able to reveal soon - but it is what it is - and some things are more important.

As someone who still has a stupid backlog (I guess I’m not the only one) I’m enjoying the slow build up to the reveal. If I were a day one buyer, I imagine I’d be really frustrated. As it is, I’m happy to go with the flow.

Thanks Sammy - as someone who has suffered/suffers (maybe I’m over it, but probably not) from carpal tunnel syndrome I really appreciate the fact you mentioned this. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been caught out by the R2 button reminding me of my feeble limitations

It is very good but the odd mission (planning the play with the mummers is a stand out) and being forced to play as Ciri at key moments holds it back from greatness for me

@KingPev - maybe it depends on the skills you acquire?... I really don’t enjoy too much challenge in a game, but I didn’t find Prey too bad.

Great news from Naughty Dog and really happy for everyone who will be buying the game on release. Sadly my backlog is still massive and it would be pointless for me to buy on day one. I’ve gone this long without spoilers - I reckon I can keep going!

I guess I’m in the minority - I enjoy a bit of a grind, get myself nice and over-powered, then sit back and enjoy the rest of the story with a bit less pressure to perform.... Just wish I could apply the same principles to real-life..... 😕

As a big fan of Telltale Games I’ve been eyeing up The Council for a while - looks like it’s in a similar vein. At £6.19 for the complete season, this looks like a steal. While I’m sure it won’t live up to Tales From The Borderlands I’m hoping it will satisfy my craving
