Re: Poll: What Other First-Party PS4 Game Needs a PS5 Update?

Mysterio

Wow, that Bloodborne is so popular. I hadn't expect that (I don't mean that offensive or to troll). It's not my type of game (I think). I don't like the Victorian style and I believe it is very difficult? I just more expected it to be a niece market of gamers, but the amount is actually quite profound.

I am very glad with the God of War upgrade and I am hoping for HZD, Uncharted 4 & LL, Shadow of the Colossus and the Last Guardian.

Re: PS5 Owners Confused by Incorrect Profile Listings for Games

Mysterio

Yes, it's also on the app. I opened the app and immediately it shows your last played game. It was a game I hadn't played before, but was in my collection so I also thought I was hacked haha. I soon found it was a bug.

Everytime I refresh it shows something else even in my game overview and also games I don't own.

Re: Talking Point: Is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Still a PS5 Launch Window Game?

Mysterio

@MrDoug91 I have no problem with that, but I mean that let's say we're calling PS5 for a year still 'next-gen' then I think you can also call that 'launch window'. It's my opinion that it is the same ballpark.

If it were up to me, we stop calling it next-gen (and also not current-gen). I did not like it in the first place. Launch window should definitely be around launch if it were up to me. If someone would buy a PS5 now and you would ask: 'did you have it during launch?' And you'd answer with 'no' then that means launch window is over. I think 'Launch' is already over now. Nonetheless, it's semantics probably and I rather have a great R&C game even if they take another year. I have no problem with them revealing it one day before release

Re: The Last of Us 2 Surpasses The Witcher 3 as the Most Awarded Game in History

Mysterio

I just finished The Last of US 2 and am now playing Ghost of Tsushima. I plan to enjoy both of them, but reading here that's a severe crime and I should like one and hate the other.

I can understand you don't like a game, but the worst ever? They should probably turn off comments on these kind of topics as there is no discussion anymore only trolling.

Re: Ghost of Tsushima Fans Think the Game May Be Coming to PS5

Mysterio

@Glassneedles that would be a good explanation if that's the case. I still hope they will do it for those games. I started Horizon Zero Dawn and the beginning just wasn't very smooth in the cave and that is why I stopped. Don't know if it was only the 30 fps as TLOU2 was much 'smoother' although you definitely notice the 30 fps too of course. I can't explain the 'smoother', but HZD was making me nauseous. First Ghost of Tsushima and then I will see what the future brings.

Re: Ghost of Tsushima Fans Think the Game May Be Coming to PS5

Mysterio

@Glassneedles Exactly, especially for the games that are already 60 fps in the disc version. It sounds to me like an easy adjustment to remove the 30 fps cap for PS5, but maybe I'm wrong. At least, it cannot be game breaking (calculations based on frame times) if it already supported 60 fps to start with.

Re: Ghost of Tsushima Fans Think the Game May Be Coming to PS5

Mysterio

@Glassneedles I have the PS Plus collection as I never owned a PS4. For now, I'm going to wait for an update. I tried switching back to 1080p, but the difference with the resolution mode is quite significant I think. If no PS5 update/Remaster is available in the time when Ragnarok has come out, I'll probably play it on 30 fps (or 1080p) nonetheless, but for now I can still play Ghost of Tsushima, Hitman 3 (incl. Hitman 1 and 2), and many other games. I'm really hoping they will update these games. God of War has such a high rating, I'm probably not going to skip it due to its 30 fps limit, but we'll see haha.

Re: Uncharted Movie Delayed Yet Again to February 2022

Mysterio

I like to watch this movie in Theatre probably if its any good. A delay is then not a problem as we can't go now, but more importantly I rather have them release a good movie instead of a quick release that's not any good (Hitman kind of movie).

Re: Talking Point: What Other PS5 Games Could Be Delayed Past 2021?

Mysterio

Some mention GT7 gets delayed, but there is no voice acting, motion capture and so on. These things acts for people coming physically to a location. What am I overseeing that games that use this will not get delayed, but a racing game does?

Nonetheless, I think it will have a lot of impact on a lot of games, but less on games that are already almost finished.

Re: Poll: What's Your Most Anticipated PS5, PS4 Game of 2021?

Mysterio

The ratings are really low of all games. If everyone put the same game in the list it is voted for by 100% of the people, but here it is probably shown as 33%. All votes should be multiplied by 3 to give a good indication and to get better numbers than most that are 0 or 1%.

Re: Game of the Year: #1 - The Last of Us: Part II

Mysterio

@3MonthBeef
I love movies so that might be the reason. The game however is definitely no interactive movie. Detroit: Become Human goes much more that way and also doesn't get shot down for this. I play TLOU2 with heartbeat in my throat and enemies you don't see easily. It is not like you press a button and from that point on all enemies show up with a yellow arrow above their head. The way you sneak around, how you have to play might not be perfect, but I like that. The only problem I might have is that I don't know how to use those bombs so I mostly don't use them and try sneaking most of the time haha.

Re: Game of the Year: #1 - The Last of Us: Part II

Mysterio

I was doubting to play this game as I don't like horror and zombies, but I love Uncharted by Naughty Dog. Then the game became on sale 2 weeks ago for 19 euros. I tried it and was hooked, and now 19 hours in. I have to say this game is amazing: the story telling, the set pieces with the amazing surroundings which you don't find in an open world, the details and animations. I am glad I bought a ps5 after I did not own a ps4. I can understand it is number one here.

Re: Game of the Year: #3 - Ghost of Tsushima

Mysterio

I bought it, did the first tutorial part (almost perfectly) and then went to bed. Next day I was like "what were the controls already!?". Now started playing Miles Morales and the Last of Us 2. When I finished all games I am currently playing I am going to put all my focus on this game. Looking forward to it and shouldn't rush it next time.

Re: PS5, PS4 Survive Xmas PlayStation Network Onslaught

Mysterio

Here in the Netherlands the store almost did not work for a full day at the start of the Christmas sales. It was in forum topics here and everyone had it. It did not load the sales and games. Not a big problem because downloading games is more important, but just to indicate it did not all go well.

Re: Game of the Year: #5 - Astro's Playroom

Mysterio

This game is great indeed and so much variation without going stale. Short but sweet. I can understand the longing for a longer game, but I don't know if it would have worked like this. Curious if they come up with more content though, but I hope it then focuses more on the platforming and less to show off the controller (then that might work).

Re: Despite Delisting, CDPR Promises Cyberpunk 2077 Players Will Still Receive Patches on PS5, PS4

Mysterio

Their statement on twitter suggested that they decided this 'with' Sony, but then they mention you can still buy the game physically, and they are not discussing it with Microsoft. This means that Sony took the lead in this, but CD Projekt Red still refer to it as if they decided it together. I don't like these kind of things, and they are losing my respect a little. Just be honest about it.
