Wow, that Bloodborne is so popular. I hadn't expect that (I don't mean that offensive or to troll). It's not my type of game (I think). I don't like the Victorian style and I believe it is very difficult? I just more expected it to be a niece market of gamers, but the amount is actually quite profound.
I am very glad with the God of War upgrade and I am hoping for HZD, Uncharted 4 & LL, Shadow of the Colossus and the Last Guardian.
@Glassneedles nice of you! I am really happy with this indeed. That would be great. Rolling from Ghost of Tsushima into God of War and then hopefully Horizon Zero Dawn. I am up for a treat if I can believe all the stories 😁
I have been saying that I would wait until Ragnarok comes out hoping for a 60 fps update in the mean time. Great news! Going to play this next after Ghost of Tsushima. Hopefully an update for Horizon Zero Dawn and Uncharted is also coming
Yes, it's also on the app. I opened the app and immediately it shows your last played game. It was a game I hadn't played before, but was in my collection so I also thought I was hacked haha. I soon found it was a bug.
Everytime I refresh it shows something else even in my game overview and also games I don't own.
@MrDoug91 I have no problem with that, but I mean that let's say we're calling PS5 for a year still 'next-gen' then I think you can also call that 'launch window'. It's my opinion that it is the same ballpark.
If it were up to me, we stop calling it next-gen (and also not current-gen). I did not like it in the first place. Launch window should definitely be around launch if it were up to me. If someone would buy a PS5 now and you would ask: 'did you have it during launch?' And you'd answer with 'no' then that means launch window is over. I think 'Launch' is already over now. Nonetheless, it's semantics probably and I rather have a great R&C game even if they take another year. I have no problem with them revealing it one day before release
I just finished The Last of US 2 and am now playing Ghost of Tsushima. I plan to enjoy both of them, but reading here that's a severe crime and I should like one and hate the other.
I can understand you don't like a game, but the worst ever? They should probably turn off comments on these kind of topics as there is no discussion anymore only trolling.
@Glassneedles that would be a good explanation if that's the case. I still hope they will do it for those games. I started Horizon Zero Dawn and the beginning just wasn't very smooth in the cave and that is why I stopped. Don't know if it was only the 30 fps as TLOU2 was much 'smoother' although you definitely notice the 30 fps too of course. I can't explain the 'smoother', but HZD was making me nauseous. First Ghost of Tsushima and then I will see what the future brings.
@Glassneedles Exactly, especially for the games that are already 60 fps in the disc version. It sounds to me like an easy adjustment to remove the 30 fps cap for PS5, but maybe I'm wrong. At least, it cannot be game breaking (calculations based on frame times) if it already supported 60 fps to start with.
@Glassneedles I have the PS Plus collection as I never owned a PS4. For now, I'm going to wait for an update. I tried switching back to 1080p, but the difference with the resolution mode is quite significant I think. If no PS5 update/Remaster is available in the time when Ragnarok has come out, I'll probably play it on 30 fps (or 1080p) nonetheless, but for now I can still play Ghost of Tsushima, Hitman 3 (incl. Hitman 1 and 2), and many other games. I'm really hoping they will update these games. God of War has such a high rating, I'm probably not going to skip it due to its 30 fps limit, but we'll see haha.
Mm, I just bought it to play on my PS5 and have just started it this weekend. Now I maybe should have waited. Well at least its 60 fps otherwise I would play God of War or Horizon Zero Dawn, or Uncharted 4, but still waiting for updates on those.
I like to watch this movie in Theatre probably if its any good. A delay is then not a problem as we can't go now, but more importantly I rather have them release a good movie instead of a quick release that's not any good (Hitman kind of movie).
@LiamCroft Touché, but I also like to see some video gameplay myself made by others than the developer. At least, I'll wait for that before I buy anything.
@B-I-G-DEVIL Curious about that too. There were a lot of complains that there was not much review videos on playstation for Cyberpunk 2077, but so far I didn't see much videos of Hitman 3 too. The release is already in 2 days so I expected some gameplay videos to be up already.
Some mention GT7 gets delayed, but there is no voice acting, motion capture and so on. These things acts for people coming physically to a location. What am I overseeing that games that use this will not get delayed, but a racing game does?
Nonetheless, I think it will have a lot of impact on a lot of games, but less on games that are already almost finished.
I am playing number 2 (Last of us 2) on my PS5 now and still have God of War, Uncharted 4 (played the collection already), Ghost of Tsushima, and also Horizon Zero Dawn left. I already own them so based on this list can look forward to some great games.
The ratings are really low of all games. If everyone put the same game in the list it is voted for by 100% of the people, but here it is probably shown as 33%. All votes should be multiplied by 3 to give a good indication and to get better numbers than most that are 0 or 1%.
I voted for: Cyberpunk ps5 (I hope they do something good with this) Kena Hogwart's legacy.
I am also looking forward to Ratchet & Clank. And also God of War and Horizon, but I still need to play part 1 of those and see if I like them (didn't have a ps4)
@3MonthBeef I love movies so that might be the reason. The game however is definitely no interactive movie. Detroit: Become Human goes much more that way and also doesn't get shot down for this. I play TLOU2 with heartbeat in my throat and enemies you don't see easily. It is not like you press a button and from that point on all enemies show up with a yellow arrow above their head. The way you sneak around, how you have to play might not be perfect, but I like that. The only problem I might have is that I don't know how to use those bombs so I mostly don't use them and try sneaking most of the time haha.
I was doubting to play this game as I don't like horror and zombies, but I love Uncharted by Naughty Dog. Then the game became on sale 2 weeks ago for 19 euros. I tried it and was hooked, and now 19 hours in. I have to say this game is amazing: the story telling, the set pieces with the amazing surroundings which you don't find in an open world, the details and animations. I am glad I bought a ps5 after I did not own a ps4. I can understand it is number one here.
@LiamCroft OK thanks. I started it, but then tried Last of Us 2 and was hooked on that. Although I am not fond of scary games or with monsters, I am so impressed with the game.
I bought it, did the first tutorial part (almost perfectly) and then went to bed. Next day I was like "what were the controls already!?". Now started playing Miles Morales and the Last of Us 2. When I finished all games I am currently playing I am going to put all my focus on this game. Looking forward to it and shouldn't rush it next time.
What I see on YouTube SotTR contains mainly fighting scenes and not much platforming, puzzle solving and beautiful scenery. Probably never going to play all thee of them.
Here in the Netherlands the store almost did not work for a full day at the start of the Christmas sales. It was in forum topics here and everyone had it. It did not load the sales and games. Not a big problem because downloading games is more important, but just to indicate it did not all go well.
This game is great indeed and so much variation without going stale. Short but sweet. I can understand the longing for a longer game, but I don't know if it would have worked like this. Curious if they come up with more content though, but I hope it then focuses more on the platforming and less to show off the controller (then that might work).
I actually already bought Hitman 2 (digitally) and also Lost Legacy. Maybe dumb if I get them for free soon. The same with Horizon zero dawn which came to PSNow one day after I unwrapped it and haven't played it yet really.
Fun article. I didn't have a ps4, but since I ordered my ps5 I looked for a Playstation news site. This one is definitely my favorite. Liam writes a lot of fun articles I have to say.
@Robinsad That might be true but it is weird you're immediately refer in the next sentence that the game is physically available. That means they don't agree that the game is taken offline.
Their statement on twitter suggested that they decided this 'with' Sony, but then they mention you can still buy the game physically, and they are not discussing it with Microsoft. This means that Sony took the lead in this, but CD Projekt Red still refer to it as if they decided it together. I don't like these kind of things, and they are losing my respect a little. Just be honest about it.
Microtransactions is really a smart political name and its definition it definitely set up by one of the companies that implemented it. 10 US dollars is in no way a 'micro'transaction if you relate it to the game price and what you get back for it.

Re: God of War PS5 4K 60FPS Patch Out Now
Happy you guys call ps5 now current-Gen instead of next-gen 😁
However the names stay confusing.
Re: Share Your Gaming Stats with Spotify-Esque PlayStation Wrap Up 2020
You need more than 10 hours on PS4 and I have none on PS4 so doesn't work. Too bad haha

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 361
Ghost of Tsushima on PS5. Looks amazing!
Re: Talking Point: Is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Still a PS5 Launch Window Game?
@Classic_console I rather have the journalists use their power to pressure on PS5 (60 fps) updates for some Sony games (God of War, Uncharted 4 & LL)

As long as Pushsquare keeps calling PS5 'next-gen', I consider it 'launch window'.
Re: PS5 PlayStation Store Finally Has a Deals Section
I must have been crazy, but I thought I already had a sales section on my PS5. Mmm.
Re: There's Talk of a PS5 Patch for The Last of Us 2 Doing the Rounds
I finished it this weekend on PS5. Would be great if it at least gets 60 fps for future players for the rest it already looks quite great.

Wait, the question is what I want... not what I expect... OK, I'll go for Hitman 3

Isn't Hitman 3 coming out on 20 January? Or is it only here...
