@SteveButler2210 Sadly because of when I bought a PS3, I skipped Demon Souls and went straight to Dark Souls so I can't comment on the original. Where you are meant to go is never quite clear but you generally need to beat bosses to access harder areas.

If you are unsure of the franchise but it still catches your intrest, I reccomend opting for Bloodborne instead by the same studio. It is meant to be like Dark Souls but much more player friendly.

It is a shame it is normal free-to-play quality. Like with No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either, they should have just made it a blatant £5 game and make everyone happy.

@darkswabber Robert is right. While Xtreme legends normally just extends the normal title's lifespan, Empires is completely different with the empire mode with little differences between each incarnation. In number 7's it was very strategical where you control history per say. Want an alliance, make countries might against each other or get an officer to backstab their country, all possible in empires. Best wait for the review if you aren't sure though.

My Christmas might not have much gaming as it is filled with such maddness I even missed this post! =( I'm getting The Evil Within as a Christmas present tomorrow so I'm hoping to play that when I can. The evil corrupting powers of Dragon Age and Freedom Wars may delay this however.

I remember playing this in my local youth club. When in was April Fools day, we told someone they could gain a life by jumping off the edge of the level. =3

I might as well just the FFVII confessional and say that I didn't play it till a year after release because the key art picture in the OPM of Cloud and his massive sword in Midgar scared the hell out of me.

I've only ever bought Telltale's season passes and the ones for Borderlands because their extra content is always pure gold.

The Binding of Issac makes me cry on the PC. The much needed ability to use an analogue stick may be my saving grace.
