If this was about an unreleased game, it would be ok. But talking about a delaying an update for a game that released one year ago completely broken just add more incompetence and mismanagement by CDPR to me.
This is like saying that a game could be done on N64 because it uses polygons.
The techs are old, the usability is new.
The amount of detail, fluidity and volume of textures, models, and size being loaded with minimum hiccups could not be achieved on older gen.
So to say "this could be done on ps3" if there was less textures, less geometry, smaller spaces, longer loading times... you are saying this couldn't be done.
Though what he says about marketing lies is true. They made us believe the rifts were main part of gameplay, but they are only main part of the narrative, and the gameplay portions that use them are extremely controlled.
Video streaming should not be the focus. There are already too many streaming services that serve my needs. We need more games, better free games and some kind of GAMING answer to gamepass.
It seems Ubisoft has the goal of stripping away all the soul left in this franchise. It was already in terminal state on Origins, and entered in coma on Odyssey...
@dark_knightmare2 I don't know if its the case here, but it seems sine most reviewers get their games for free, everything is the same to them at one point. They get alienated and don't realize that games have prices AND that games take money to make. This game is a budget title made by a small team, and it is a great game if put into that perspective.
This reviews actually makes me mad. Wish they were this angry and picky with Triple-A games.
This is a harsh look on a game that is not even Triple-A. It is a budget game and actually manages to be more entertaining that a lot of blockbusters that only 15% of buyers actually complete. Sure it is not the prettiest game out there, but hey... it doesn't have the same money.

@trev666 things like "the difference is staggering", while the video is at 400x zoom on the corner of the screen.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy Resident Evil Village?
The pacing in this game is amazing.
The game is just a powerhouse on Game Directing and Art Design.
Re: Poll: Is PlayStation Plus Video Pass the Right Way to Expand PS Plus?
If this is their response to Gamepass, this is quite underwhelming, since, you know... GAMEpass.
Re: Days Gone Director on Skipped Sequel: 'If You Love a Game, Buy It at F***ing Full Price'
F*** that.
Don't blame it on users.
Games are expensive, gamepass is showing that in a dangerous way.
People are more willing to pay a subscription than full price, which honestly, subscription is really bad since you don't own anything.
I bet more more people would buy new games if they werent $60 (PS4) or $70 (PS5).
And the income curve would be higher.
Sell more at lower price, get more income from increased sales numbers.
Not only that, his game was very buggy at launch, so no justification there. It wasn't a good game at launch.
His whole interview sounds just bitter.
