Re: PS5 Pro Shows Real Promise in First Expert Analysis

@get2sammyb I mean, this article is practically ignoring all negative points that they pointed, like flickering, shimmering, performance-mode settings with higher res...
It is not about the overload of reporting, but the overload of biased reports that ignore the negatives and also had a misleading comparison that an editor here made up on photoshop and then replaced the comparison after people took notice.

Re: Talking Point: Is PS5 Pro Way Too Expensive?

The PS5 pro is US$820 simply if you do not want less features than the base PS5, since it does not come with a disk-drive nor a stand.
This is just insane...
And you'd think they would have learned their lesson after the PS3 horrible launch.

I'm really hoping for the best.
The team has potential, the original story is great, and the original game could really improve with new visuals and gameplay mechanics.
The only real nitpick I have so far is in Maria's Design. The whole point of her design was to be sexualized, since she is a representation of a straight man sexual desires.... I mean, this was one point that really differentiated SH2 from games from that era... female characters were not just male gaze and had a meaning, and the new design makes me feel like all that went over their heads.

@AinsleyE The biggest problem with frostbite is that it was good (and still is) only for one type of game. Almost everything that was not meant for a first-person-shooter game had to be made by studios that were learning to use Frostbite, and not only that, the engine upgrades were not shared among the studios, so if one studio made steps in adapting Frostbite for their game, another studio would have to start all over, even if mechanically their games would behave the same.
