Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 389

RaZieLDaNtE

@pocketjazz Hello friend. I personaly loved HZD.
The gameplay, graphics, the setting and story really got me.
I´m curious to know what didn´t click with you.
And you played some of my favourite games like

  • Jedi Fallen Order
  • Last of Us Remastered
  • Super Mario 3D World
  • Shadow of the Colossus
  • Limbo / Inside
  • Ghost of Tsushima
  • Control
    Just to name a few. And you played all of those without rushing them? Nice.
    I should also get back to Sackboy. I was really enjoying it.
    Cheers, stay safe and enjoy the rest of the weekend

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 389

RaZieLDaNtE

@pocketjazz Hi there friend.
Wow, that´s a really good list.
My 3 sugestions to you are:

  • Returnal. If you like action, challenging arcade shooters with amazing and fun gameplay and a quite interesting story. Until I finished, it was all I could think about. Just one more run 😉
  • God of War. I mean, it´s one of the best games ever made. It´s games like this that I live for. So to speak;
  • Hollow Knight. This was another that consume me until the end. Possibly the best MetroidVania game I´ve ever played. After Super Metroid and Castlevania Symphony of the Night, two absolutely amazing games, that is saying something.
    PS: that is an amazing list of games you´ve played this year my friend 👍
    Cheers, stay safe and have a good one

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 389

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
Another weekend is upon us.
I´ll be continuing my Mass Effect 1 Adept Renegade Insanity run.
I´ve actually did two missions today I´ve never done before.
Crazy that even after 7 full trilogy playtroughs, I´m still finding new stuff. No wonder ME1 is my personal favourite.
Also play more online matches in Guilty Gear Strive.
I´m currently on Floor 9 with Ky, but this seems to be my limit.
We can´t all be fighting game Gods 😜
I might go back to Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart. I was really enjoying the game. I get now why people like this franchise that much since the PS2 era. Mine was Jak and Daxter.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 389

RaZieLDaNtE

@naruball @Nightcrawler71 Hi there friends.
Congrats on getting your own PS5. Another friend of mine was able to get his to a few days ago. He is super esctatic about it and enjoying Demon´s Souls.
I would recomend both Returnal and Ratchet&Clank. Amazing visuals, awesome gameplay, great use of the haptic feedback and adaptive trigers and super fast loadings.
I kid you not, you won´t even see them. Because there are none.
Cheers, stay safe and enjoy your new Playstation 5 👍

Re: Official Dragon Quest Survey Asks Fans to Help Shape Series' Future

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow ganmers.
I have to agree with @johncalmc, @bozz and @slips666
It was pretty much what I just wrote in their survey.
I really just want an even better DQXI. I won´t mind if the team wants to do a more mature, adult story and themes, but the game should always have that unique japanese humour that I personally enjoy. Wacky and goffy characters are fun and needed to.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 388

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
For this weekend I´ll be continuing my Mass Effect Insanity FemShep, Adept, Renegade run on PS5, watch some Evo matches, play some more Mass Effect Andromeda on PC and might also go back to more Guilty Gear Strive online matches.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all

Re: This Portable PS2 Is the Handheld of Our Dreams

RaZieLDaNtE

@Keyblade-Dan Hi there friend.
What you said right there, is the dream.
Soul Reaver 2, Legacy of kain Defiance, Bloody Roar 3 and 4,
Devil May Cry 1 and 3, Onimusha games and GTA Vice City completely portable? Oh man, that is a sweet dream to have.
The handheld system looks pretty interesting too 👍
@The_Pixel_King You and me both. Day one, no doubt about it.
Cheers, stay safe folks and happy gaming to us all

Re: Mass Effect Legendary Edition Sales 'Well Above' Expectations, Says EA

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
As a Massive nass Effect fan, I bought the Legendary Edition on day one and did a full playtrough of the entire trilogy.
And it was as awesome as it was all those 7 other playtroughs
I´ve done before.
And like I´ve said in a previous post, not only Am I playing Andromeda on PC, I am also doing a Insanity, FemShep, Adept, Renegade run on the first ME. And I´m having an absolute blast.
Hopefully, this means EA learns the value of sigleplayer, story driven games made by studios that both knows and wants to make them as well as Bioware, not only making a brand new Mass Effect game, but maybe also an Adromeda sequel.
Because if the team has time, passion and resorces they can make a great game. Andromeda has potential.
And so does Bioware. I still believe in them.
Cheers, stay safe folks and happy gaming to us all

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 387

RaZieLDaNtE

@Sorteddan Hi there friend and thank you for the reply.
It is definitely difficult sometimes to catch your bearings when something bad happens. Not always easy to get up.
But we do need to find some kind of strentgh, either inside ourselves or form the outside, from friends, family, loved ones or just the things that brings us joy, pleasure and excitement.
Videogames, movies, books, gym, driving around and a good conversation, are some of my favourite things to do, especially when I´m feeling down. And we all feel down at some point.
Cheers, stay safe and all the best 👍

Re: Tales of Arise Is About as Long as Tales of Berseria, Says Producer

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
50 to 60 hours is pretty long. Not absurdely long, like some other rpgs (Persona 5 Royal), so long enough.
As long as the 3 pillars of any RPG are strong, it will always be a pleasure to play.
What are the 3 pillars of RPGs you ask? They are as follows:

  • Gameplay. Combat system and exploration mechanics. Both need to be super fun. You´ll be playing these games for hours. No fun, no play;
  • Story and characters. Again, both need to be interesting and engaging. The initial mystery and premise needs to hook you and the more you play, the narrative and dialogues need to be on point;
  • The OST. Like I said before, you´re going to be playing these games for hours, wich means you are going to listen to the same combat, village, town, character and Boss music.
    It needs not only to set the mood, but also the tone. It needs to be somber and melancholic, but also happy and cheerfull when need be. And it needs to be EPIC and make you feel excited to fight one more battle for the next level up or that Boss fight that makes your blood pumpin, because of the story and the music.
    So there you go. the 3 pillars of RPGs. In my oppinion, that is😉
    Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 387

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
After a not so good week and not feeling great myself, I decided to do a challenge run on one of my favourite games of all time: Mass Effect.
I´ll be playing as FemShep, Adept (because Biotics are OP), Renegade on Insanity difficulty.
Why? Because it is a game that I know and love and just felt like I needed something to raise my spirit and relax my mind.
We all have bad moments and days and it is precisely because of that that we need to stay strong and find and do the things that gives us some kind of peace and joy.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all

Re: PlayStation Console Exclusive Kena: Bridge of Spirits Delayed to September

RaZieLDaNtE

@KidBoruto Hi there friend.
That´s a big list.
My list of games is:

  • Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island PS5 DLC Upgrade;
  • Tales of Arise;
  • Deathloop;
  • Kena Bridge of Spirits;
  • Sonic Colors Ultimate;
  • Death Stranding PS5 DLC Upgrade.
    Lot´s of games to play around to keep me busy until next year with Elden Ring.
    So what if there are some delays? There´s no shortage of great and unique gaming experiences for us to enjoy.
    Cheers, stay safe and have a good one

Re: Interview: Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut - Sucker Punch Talks PS5 Features, Iki Island Expansion, and Japanese Praise

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
Another really good interview @ShogunRok thanks.
I´m glad that Iki island new content will be as big as one of the 3 acts of the main game. It will be such a pleasure to go back to my personal GOTY of 2020 and stop every few minutes to watch the beautiful sceneries, vistas and sunsets.
And take pictures of course. Lots and lots of pictures 😜
Was thinking doing a new game plus on Lethal difficulty awhile ago, but now, I´ll just wait for the PS5 version with the dlc and live once again the Tale of Sakai Jin, the Ghost of Tsushima!!!
Cheers, stay safe people and happy gaming to us all

Re: With the Steam Deck Announced, This Is What a Next-Gen PSP Could Be

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
I´ll be getting two of these, yes......
Wait, their not real? Does Sony not like money?
I guess they don´t.
Still have my Vita and still play it everyonce in a while.
And my 3DSXL as well.
The Steam Deck looks pretty interesting though.
I can play all my Stem and Epic store game list in a handheld?
I can get behind that...... In the future, when it´s less pricey.
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 385

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
This weekend I just gonna play Guilty Gear Strive, both online and offline for that sweet Platinum trophy 😉
Just got to beat the ridiculous, cheap, completely unfair, not to mention broken, Nightmare Boss Nago. Easy right?
I might play a couple of hours of Rachet and Clank Rift Apart to rest my hands and fingers though 😜
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all

Re: Guilty Gear Strive Smashes Through 500,000 Sales, First DLC Character Revealed Next Week

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
That´s some really good numbers for a Guilty Gear game. I´m very glad so many people are enjoying a fighting game franchise, that not a lot of people knew about and that I have enjoyed since the first iteration.
Also, I like that picture a lot. When I envision myself playing against someone really good, that´s the picture I see.
Myself looking like Sol, getting super into it fighting against someone chillin like Ky 😜
Cheers, stay safe folks and happy gaming to us all

Re: Jim Ryan Says Players Only Remember the Best Games

RaZieLDaNtE

@RogerRoger "It wasn't just ten minutes of the Sonic Mania soundtrack" That´s what I was afraid they would do.
So it was great to listen to some really good bangers from different Sonic games, like Collors, Shadow, Adventure 1 and 2 had to be there of course and even The Black knight was there.
People may think otherwise , but Crush 40 rocks so much.
Sonic Boom, Sonic Boom, Sonic Boom.
Tomoya Ohtani Band and Nathan Sharp did an awesome Endless Possibility version. It was an absolute Blast from the Past. Sonic Fan Forever 👍
Cheers, stay safe and all the best

Re: Jim Ryan Says Players Only Remember the Best Games

RaZieLDaNtE

@RogerRoger Hi there friend.
Sorry for the off topic, but as a fellow Sonic fan did you saw the 30th Sonic anniversary Symphony concert on youtube?
I had tears in my eyes for most of it.
All those wonderfull memories and nostalgia playing Sonic games in my teens were to much for a 36 adult grown man to handle.
As a Sega and Sonic fan it was awesome.
Cheers, stay safe good people and happy gaming to us all

Re: The Witcher 3 PS5 Will Include Free DLC Inspired by Netflix Show

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
It is super interesting so see peoples different experiences with the game.
I started with The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings on Xbox 360 and before that I bought the books to get myself acquainted with the characters and lore and because it was so good, I have been buying every single one of them. As for TW2, despite some clunky controls and a weird difficulty balance I truly enjoyed my time with it. More so that my playtrough was completely different from a friend of mine just because I did one decision differently.
So naturally, by the time TW3 came out I was already a fan of the world and characters, so I bought the game day one.
And once again, I got sucked into it. Not fully, since the game had some gameplay issues. They have made it better with updates.
But it was a very engrossing game with some very gut wrenching and emotional storylines.
And Like @RevDrGalactus once the Bloody Baron questline starts, the game becomes so much more interesting and entertaining.
Especially the dlc Heart of Stone. One of the absolute best story dlc
I´ve played in a videogame.
Just do what @GalacticHam posted and You´ll have a heck of a time.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming to us all

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 384

RaZieLDaNtE

@The_Pixel_King It really is one of the best games I have ever played. It is because of games like this one that I love videogames so much. Rich, compelling story, interesting characters, awesome gameplay and crazy good graphics.
The final part is gonna wreck you.
It wrecked me. Made think about the game weeks after finishing it the first time. So good.
Cheers, stay safe and have good one

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 384

RaZieLDaNtE

@TraCuz- Hi there friend.
This is my very first Ratchet and Clank game (I know, shame on me). I was more into Jak and Daxter at the time. But I was blown away of what I saw, and from what I played, t´s gonna be great.
Insomniac games rock.
As for Guilty Gear, or any fighting game for that matter, as long as your having fun playing the game, that´s all that counts.
I´ve been playing fighting games from the begining and no matter how good or bad I am, if they are fun, I´ll keep playing.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 384

RaZieLDaNtE

@Voltan Hi there friend.
We should defnitely play some Guilty Gear Strive matches, since I main Chipp as well as Ky. Love those two characters since the very first GG The Missing Link on PS1.
Used to be super good, then I took an arrow to the knee 😜
My PSN profile is RaZielDaNtE84
We should invite @Omnistalgic as well. He likes fighting games to. See ya at the GGS Park.
Cheesr, stay safe and have a good one

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 384

RaZieLDaNtE

@The_Pixel_King Hi there friend.
Glad you are enjoying one of the best adult videogame completely spoiler free. And on PS5 no less.
It still baffles me how Naughty Dog were able to make such a compelling, human nature story of loss and redemption that could surpass the first game, in my oppinion.
The game has some amazing moments, both from a story perspective and from gameplay elements and mechanics.
Truly an amazing game and a fantastic sequel.
I used to say I didn´t want a sequel, but now, I´m actualy hoping for a Part 3.
And whatever Naughty Dog decides to do next.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 384

RaZieLDaNtE

@TraCuz- Hi there fellow gamers.
Having finished Spiderman Miles Morales on PS5,
what a "Spectacular" game that was. Get it, Spectacular? No? Nevermind 😜
Now it´s finally time for the beautiful and colorful
Rachet and Clank Rift Apart on PS5.
A few more fights in the absolutely gorgeous and super fun Guilty Gear Strive, also on PS5.
And more Mass Effect Andromeda on PC. That game is big.
And you were right @TraCuz. The ending of Spiderman Miles Morales was something else. It was a great personal story, just like some of the best Spiderman stories are.
Cannot wait for Spiderman 2.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all

Re: Feature: The 10 Most Anticipated PS5, PS4 Games for the Rest of 2021

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
Yup, my 3 game choices are there, Deathloop, Tales of Arise, Horizon Forbidden West and one of my other choices, Kena Bridge of Spirits. All for my precious PS5 😉
There´s also Metroid Dread for my Switch and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles for my PS4.
Playing Zesteria on PC is making me super hyped for Arise.
Can´t wait. Really good games until the end of 2021.
And all of them so different as well.
Cheers, stay safe eveyone and happy gaming to us all

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 383

RaZieLDaNtE

@RogerRoger Yeah, it was a shame they canceled Andromeda Quarian Ark dlc. And they never picked that story up.
Treating Andromeda like a spin-of could have been a good thing. To me, at least.
I mean, they have an entire new galaxy to explore.
That was the whole point of it.
Fingers crossed for an awesome Mass Effect 4 👌
I grew up with amazing series like Star Trek, MacGyver,
Star Wars, The Twilight Zone and Stargate SG1.
Just to name my personal favourites. So it is kinda awesome to see somesorth of continuation to some of them.
For example, I´m currently watching the fantastic season two of The Mandalorian. It is one of the very best things Star Wars related I´ve ever seen. It really is good quality content to enjoy.
Cheers, stay safe and all the best

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 383

RaZieLDaNtE

@KingPev Blade Runner is such a fantastic movie.
I was in complete awe when I first saw it.
Also have multiple versions of it as well.
And Blade Runner 2049 actually exceeded my expectations.
Not only it is a great film, it is also a great sequel.
One that I didn´t expected to ever see fully realized.
Now, I always have to watch both, one after the next 😜
Cheers, stay safe and all the best

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 383

RaZieLDaNtE

@KingPev Hi there friend.
Thanks man. Again, being a sci-fi fan, especially because of a little Tv show called Star Trek, love that show, Star Wars and even more with Mass Effect, Oblivion has everything I enjoy in a story.
That movie is soooooo good. So much so that I watch it at least once a year. Some movies you can just watch and watch and never feel tired of or bored.
Some examples besides Oblivion:

  • Good Fellas;
  • Spiderman 2;
  • Blade Runner;
  • X-Men First Class;
  • The Matrix;
  • The Dark Knight.
    I finished them and like: " I´m going to watch it again."
    Just like I have done it with Mass Effect.
    I play and finish them, then I replay and finish them again 😜
    And the cycle of life continues.....
    Cheers, stay safe and have a good one

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 383

RaZieLDaNtE

@RogerRoger You are absolutely right.
Mass Effect is a superb franchise and the trilogy is gaming storytelling at it´s peak.
I personaly really like Andromeda. To me, it´s like a spin-of of the main story. Like a side-story, if you will.
It had a lot of pressure from fans, myself included, but I enjoyed it nontheless. I actualy would like to see Andromeda 2 done right. Or better, you know?
I just want more Mass Effect in my life. Can´t get enough 😜
Heres hopping Mass Effect 4 is a banger, with an amazing and engrossing story and interesting characters, just like ME 1, wich is my personal favourite, with Andromeda combat mechanics.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 383

RaZieLDaNtE

@TraCuz- Hi there friend.
That´s good to know. After playing inFamous First Light and Uncharted Lost Legacy, I feel like these kind of stand alone titles actualy work really well.
And like I said, I´m truly enjoying the game.
Love what they did with the holo challenges. Especialy Peter just saying nonsense after nonsense with his stories, while Miles his reacting to it.... As he should 😜 Insomniac just knows and respects these characters a lot.
Just like NetherRealm with Injustice.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 383

RaZieLDaNtE

@RogerRoger Hi there friend.
Yeah, I say that because I finished the trilogy seven times now
(3 on Xbox 360, 3 on PS3 and one on PS5) and can´t seem to get enough of it. I´m probably going for the eight time in the current year 😉
Very few games have I played and finished that many times, that left me such a powerfull impression of what videogames are and what their capable of.
Also, I´m a huge rpg, sci-fi and space fan, so for me,
Mass Effect is a must have, must play.
Just like watching Oblivion every year.
Now I´m playing trough Andromeda a second time on PC and even though it´s a very different game and does have some issues, I´m enjoying a lot. Especially the combat. Being a Biotic with charge and a shotgun is awesome.
Cheers, stay safe and have a good one

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 383

RaZieLDaNtE

@Col_McCafferty Hi there friend. How´s it going?
Congrats on finally getting a PS5. Fantastic machine.
Tip for installing any physical games:

  • Once you put the disc inside the PS5, wait for it to start installing automatically and check if there is any update for the game.
  • If theres an update, pause it, and let the game install completely and then you unpause and install the update.
    Had a few of issues the very first time with Miles Morales and Demon´s Souls and thought it was either the console or the games. It was neither. Just not being patient enough 😜
    Cheers, stay safe and enjoy the weekend with your brand new PS5 👍

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 383

RaZieLDaNtE

@adrianthealchemist Hi there friend.
Sorry about the bad news. These kind of things are never easy to receive, nor easy to endure.
But at least you have Returnal to enjoy and just blast everyone in Selenes way, with all different kind of weapons.
Hang in there, try not to stress out or think to much about it.
Cheers, stay safe and all the best

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 383

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
With the Mass Effect Legendary Edition finished on PS5, I just had to play Mass Effect Andromeda on PC.
Love this franchise way to much 😜
Also on PC a bit of Tales of Zesteria.
For some japanese goodness.
On PS5, it´s actualy Spiderman Miles Morales and I´m having a blast. Miles is a great character and playing on Spectacular difficulty is challenging but fun.
And maybe some Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle on Switch.
Cheers, stay safe good people and happy gaming weekend to us all

Re: Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut Bundles in New Island Expansion, Coming to PS5 and PS4

RaZieLDaNtE

Hi there fellow gamers.
Even if the upgrade system is a mess, because it is, more Ghost of Tsushima, my personal Game of The Year and the game I´ve always wanted to play, I say Yes Please!
Always wanted to do a new game plus and now with the upgrade, theres just no escaping it. Plus, the very much unlikely and pleasant surprise multiplayer Legends is another reason to enjoy the game.
Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all

Re: Spider-Man: Miles Morales Patch 1.10 Makes Ray Tracing Even Better

RaZieLDaNtE

@Omnistalgic
If Bluepoint decides to do a full remake of Bloodborne for PS5, just like they did with Demon´s Souls, I would cry of happiness..... And buy the game day one.
It is my most played game, 511 hours of a lot of playtroughs, deaths, tears, rage and enjoyment.
But yeah, they just need to say it exists, remake or remaster and people will line up for purchase.
And if they decide to tackle a Demon´s Souls sequel, that would be fine as well 👍
Cheers, stay safe and all the best
