Re: Japan Sales Charts: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Tops, But Doesn't Even Come Close to Remake

I played FF7 remake on the ps4 and I was underwhelmed. The graphics were fine, it just for me the plot was tedious and uninteresting. I finished the game and wanted to get the platinum trophy but after 80 hours and I still had at least another 20 - 30 hours to get the platinum, I just gave up. I really wish there was a way to skip though dialogue cut scenes but only full cutscenes can be skipped.

Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for February 2024?

What I am not a big fan of with is that various ps4 remastered games end up on the premium tier rather then extra tier. The extra tier has numerous games but the numbers are kind if inflated simply due to the fact that the ps4 and ps5 versions somehow count as two games. Essential is hit and miss, often miss with only on rare occasions do I end up seeing any games I really want to play. Both extra and premium have some interesting games but the prices are way too high for what you actually get.

I have never understood the logic of putting any remastered games in the premium tier with the small handful of ps3 and ps1 games that are there. I thought that the premium tier would include more games that were not already available on the ps3 like more ps1 games or any ps2 games, but only a few new ps1 titles have been added. A few vita and psp titles are also appearing but not many and the good games are the ps2 titles which are not appearing.

Re: PlayStation Users Set to Lose Hundreds of TV Shows They Paid For

I tend to avoid buying digital movies unless it cheaper to get digital than trying to get a physical copy. I personally find it ironic that MS has stepped up what they offer for digital movies. There are lots of anime titles that are available on the Xbox store and if you wait you can often get a whole season at a discounted price. One of the latest Gundam series The Witch from Mercury is available and the first season has been on sale regularly and recently got the second season which finally when on sale. But I still think that it underhanded for Sony to just remove payed content which undermines there credibility.

Re: Talking Point: Is Bungie Really the Right Developer to Aid Sony's Live-Service Push?

My opinion is that Destiny 2 caters to existing players and newbies are largely out of luck and will have to spend a huge amount of money to just get into the game. Most of the " unused content" Bungie removed was the single player content which made in almost impossible for any new player to get to a decent level or power without spending lots of money. Destiny 2 is become gimmicky and it seems any useful game strategy get nerfed by Bungie because Bungie doesn't want the game played that way.
