While there are certainly many problems, I can't help but feel a lot of this is hyped up for clicks. The art controversy in particular, while bad, isn't as massive an issue as influencers have been trying to blow it up to.

Ah almost missed this story! Rally enjoyed the first Hellblade though I heard a mixed response to the sequel. Look forward to diving into this sometime in the future

There are a lot of articles about Gatcha games recently on PS. Are they that popular? I imagine it's for SEO and such and I can't blame a site for trying to pay themselves but it feels like a lot!!

What a disaster. This is a huge blunder from the writer, sure, but also the art director and rest of the art team. This is blatant plagiarism and would have went through so many hands and seen by so many. If you're referencing an artist this much you should hire them. Hope 4nt1r34l gets compensated and compensated well.

There's no transparency on what gets put to the top of this chart though, right? Sony could just bump GoY to the top to advertise the game, I wouldn't just take their word that this is purely based on the number of pre-orders and more so based also on what they would like folks to pre-order

YES PUH-LEASE! I would love new Sony handheld so bad, and while sure I'd love some exclusive games for the device that just isn't realistic anymore. So being able to play my backlog sounds great!

Sony has a real problem on their hands; their fanbase wants their live service games to fail so bad. Hard to turn public sentiment around in that environment. I think their press approach for Marathon, having a glow out of information through influencers and press, is wise and the sentiment is very positive if a bit wait and see. Regardless though there is a huge chorus of folks hoping for this game to crash and burn. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

The art style is AWESOME. Super slick, great colours and also looks really readable from a gameplay perspective.

I don't play these sort of games though, I don't have the time or interest in live service, but when it eventually comes to PS Plus and I randomly win the lotto and don't need to work then I'll have a look

They announced and immediately cancelled a gig in Finland last year so this has been on shaky ground since the get go. I'd still like to attend so I'll have a look if any tickets are going cheaper now

I buy maybe 1 full price game a year. I don't have the time to jump to a new game straight away so usually when I finally have the time or feeling like playing a certain title, I can pick it up physically new for 20 euro.
A game like Ghost of Yotei though I will be buying DAY ONE =D

The lines about the economy are interesting. By the half way point in the original GoT I had way more resources than I needed. Would like a more harsher experience for sure

I immediately forgot about this game. I wonder will the story be gripping, the trailer they showed sadly made the game seem quite generic and it's sci fi elements pretty surface level. Interested to see the reviews and how it comes together, always hope every game is great

I had to stop playing Kena after 2 hours, not a good game despite its presentation. Animal well and Zau are both on my system though I doubt I'll get to either in the next month 😅

To be expected; Uncharted Collection didn't include the multiplayer modes for example. I know the multiplayer was a huge element of Gears but I'm happy just to play the campaigns!

I've always thought about buying an Xbox to play these games so it's great news that it's coming to PS5! I actually own the original trilogy on 360 because the games were like 1 euro each, but never got the machine itself 😅
