Re: Sony Is Allegedly Making a Crash Bandicoot Movie

Shepard93n7

I was really surprised with the Ratchet & Clank movie, it wasn't the best movie of all times but was helluva funny, if this crash movie follows the same approach I will definitely have to watch it.

On a more Savage speaking, I think Sony should buy Crash from Activision and put Naughty dog on a new game but that's too much to ask.

Re: Guide: Will Half-Life: Alyx Ever Come to PSVR?

Shepard93n7

Considering this title will be available on every PC VR headset including competitors like Oculus and Microsoft mixed reality, is a matter of time that this game hits PlayStation in some point. Maybe PS5 VR because I doubt that the current hardware could handle these graphics on VR.

Re: PS Now Competitor Google Stadia Nearly Doubles Its Launch Line-Up of Old Games

@GADG3Tx87 I understand completely your point, and in addition to that, Netflix is present on more than 1000 million devices around the globe, Game pass is at most 50-70 M counting selected PCs that can run those games, if the business is not sustainable for Netflix imagine Xbox Game pass with less than the half of the half of the market. Evidently a business like that can't support high quality in-house games, for third parties Microsoft pays on cash to devs so it's not that bad if games doesn't sell, but in games like Gears they (Microsoft) are loosing money on the date to date thing, and that's why Sony must not follow the same path. Luckily they aren't as Jim Ryan has stated a couple weeks ago.

Re: PS5 Controller Looks a Lot Like DualShock 4 in New Patent

Shepard93n7

For me the shape and curves looks more like the Xbox Controller, too bad the patent doesn't seems to make any references to swappable sticks and d-pad. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty comfortable with the current layout but I understand some people like the Xbox Layout more so swappable parts could benefit everyone.

@GADG3Tx87 Yes, even worse those "fake neutral" gamers who claim to have both consoles and say "man my PS4 is collecting dust, I don't have nothing to play" and then when Yakuza series is announced to Xbox: "Yay! I always wanted to play that game" despite having the option to play the series on PS4 for years.

I'm not mad at more people be able to enjoy the series, maybe this can contribute to its establishment in the mainstream market, but toxic fanboys are ruining the joy.

Maybe it is because of the ability to play those games for a small fee per month, in that case Sony needs to ensure all the important titles in the service without cannibalizing sales on the big launches (date to date) and putting crazy microtransactions on them (see gears 5 for example).

Re: Microsoft May Have Just Put an End to the Studio Acquisition Wars

Shepard93n7

@The_ghostmen I heard that they are only doing the single player component of that game. I don't see that as an issue for Sony buying the studio, also Guerrilla Games helped them with Control and they were very grateful on social media about that. Anyways there are others interesting studios like Blue Point Games, Ready At Dawn or Koji-Pro, after Insomniac everything is possible.

Re: Next Xbox Will Match PS5 Price and Power, Says Microsoft

Shepard93n7

To me this sounds more like "we're having the less powerful console again but not so less powerful", just like OG PS4 and XOne. The thing that worries me the most is pricing; with the SSD and Raytracing talk I'm expecting a 500-600 bucks for both machines and that would be a disaster like the PS3 launch. They could use some sort of credit deal letting you pay a small amount first and the rest on monthly fees through PS+ and XLA Gold.

Re: At X019, Xbox Fans Booed the PS4 Controller

Shepard93n7

I was more surprised on the no studios buyouts announcements. Overall was an okay show, Sony really needs to step up on PS Now, it's a shame that almost the entire Final Fantasy franchise will be on Game Pass before than the service on the console that made the series so popular.
