@Sanquine I think I actually prefer handhelds to home consoles. They're just so much more convenient and enjoyable to play in either long or short bursts. I'm glad the 3DS is doing well, it's got some great games now, but now I have a Vita it's enraging how far superior a machine it is, and yet how much worse the sales figures are at the moment.
I think it also has a lot to do with how shops display Vita consoles and games on the shelves. I don't know about you guys, but whenever I go into GAME I have to search really hard to find the Vita section. It's normally on the lowest shelf possible hidden underneath either PS3 or PS4 gear, and just a single row of preowned copies of boring games - hardly going to inspire any sales...
I can't explain how much I want the Vita to do well. I feel very deeply and emotionally attached the handheld now. I just hope Sony can provide some killer games to really inspire those who haven't picked one up yet!
@RisefromAshes I'll meet you on the dance-floor in ten.
@Tasuki Ooh, Zelda - enjoying it? I've always been a console Zelda fan, I don't generally find the handheld games as captivating.. Could this one change my mind? Although saying that I have just bought mint copies of Oracles for GBC, so who knows.
Just a little tip for anyone trying to grab a PS4 - if you go through Quidco you can get a PS4 from tesco for £349.99 + 4.5% cashback Happy hunting everyone!
@get2sammyb Although I only had a guitar to test it with, I'm positive it has full bass support across the board. You can even select 'bass mode' when playing the guitar to learn the bass parts to songs on your 6 string.
@eliotgballade There is a 'colour blind' option for those who have trouble discerning the different colours, and you can also switch the string layout around. It puts the high E at the bottom instead of the low E automatically, so I just opted to switch the layout to suit what I was used to seeing on tabs.
@ShogunRok What is wrong with you?? Has you no emotions?
@Sanquine I originally wrote over 3 paragraphs on Ni No Kuni, but mean Mr Ramsey made me cut it down. I just have so much love for that game!
@Bliquid Possibly, but would we have to share consoles? Because I'm not down with that
@Lelouch I love new Dante! He's sexy, arrogant and has made skillz. Everything you secretly want in a man. I can't believe all the hate Ninja Theory got for something as silly as changing a character's hair colour. The number of death threats were insane!!
@chazaroonie Do you remember that horrendous mission where you had to burn all the drugs in Far Cry 3? That awful song just kept playing on repeat over and over... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNeWuAIS41s)
Goodness gracious! Although, in fairness I'd have no complaints if it was Fire Emblem's Lon'qu or Chrom, so can see the appeal @get2sammyb Sammy, I take it this one isn't on your shopping list? ;D haha
I was a little disappointed playing Knack to be honest after having it set in my mind that this would be the game to accompany my PS4. As Sammy mentions some sections - even in the same small chapter - are completely recycled, enemy positioning, environment design, enemy type and all. Hopefully the full game will redeem itself come launch.
@rjejr Some older Disney characters and their related items/locations do make guest appearances in the Toy Box, although I must admit I was a little disappointed there weren't any 'classic' Disney play sets at launch. I expect they'll release a few figurines based on characters from the older movies sooner or later.
Those lovely screenshots keep drawing me in. Great review Ben, but can't believe you scored it a whole 4 points higher than our good friend Snowy! ;D Will be checking this one out for sure...
This looks and sounds absolutely fantastic. Story-fueled games have always enticed me, and I would love to see more games focus on narrative at times, as long as gameplay is not completely forgotten.
@Cloud7794 Glad you enjoyed it! I know what you mean about betraying, I felt awful too, but not as bad as when I accidentally permadeath a character because of my own rubbish tactics in Fire Emblem!!
If firm news of this came about I'd definitely hold off getting a PS4 for the bundle. But I can understand how spending $500+ in one go can be daunting.
I have to agree with Greg's review, Legends is awesome. The level designs are fantastic, music is amazing, and the whole game generally has a bouncy and cheerful tone
Never going to get that theme song out of my head... As Ben said, it's a shame the remaster isn't as great as we expected, but still hoping to get my pogo stick out soon.
Sammy - does the art-style make it difficult to see what's going on in fast battles, or is the vision okay? As someone with an awful eyesight I always wonder about that when a game is particularly stylised. It's a shame that most reviewers have commented that Killer is Dead is very 'average', you know I'm a sucker for a good Suda game.. Will buy it and try it anyway though
Also, how the hell did you manage to mention Suda and One Direction in the breath? Shame on you, sir.
@Lelouch Hopefully they'll completely revamp the gameplay for the console versions. Level5 make lots of mobile games in Japan, which I've heard are really popular there - but can't imagine they'd bring the mobile versions over to the West.

Re: Here's Your First Look at the Next Sleeping Dogs Title
Excellent stuff Sleeping Dogs was a great game and didn't get all the attention it deserved. Hopefully that can be remedied with Triad Wars.
