Even running well, the game isn't super impressive IMO. It's an okay action FPS and hardly a true RPG, the game world is very attractive but mostly vapid. I had fun with the 10 hours I put into it but I don't intend to pick it back up any time soon.
I hope that people that enjoyed it or were waiting on it, are going to be able to play it as the developers intended but I get the feeling that even once the game is patched up, it's not going to attract a whole lot of new customers.
Glad it's getting the love it deserves somewhere. American/European critics are obsessed with Last of Us Part II so much that GoT is getting overshadowed most other places.
This is the first season of Fortnite that I've decided to play, mostly because of the FOMO I got from the Marvel season.
I've spent over $100 already. I'm gonna finish up my battle pass and probably uninstall the game because I am just not the kind of person that needs to be playing f2p games.
I won't hate on the game though. It's fun and ther soooo many awesome characters, I don't even think I was ripped off because I had fun.
@RaZieLDaNtE that's an awesome list, I'm a little bit apprehensive about FromSoft turning Castlevania into a Souls game but it's obviously appropriate. I was a big fan of Lords of Shadow and I think Ninja Theory would do a good job with the franchise based off of Senua.
I love this game but after 120+ hours I think I'll wait til the Wrath of The Druids next month. Maybe even till the Siege of Paris is WotD doesn't have a lot.
It wasn't removed. This post needs to be updated. A sec responded saying it was just a coincidence since a police chase happened to occur at the same time the line was supposed to activate.
Can't say I'm surprised, wasn't too interested in the game to begin with. I'm sure fans will be pleased but it came out the gates looking bland and trying to sell itself on a gimmick that seems to remove a lot of character from the franchise. Hopefully the PS5 upgrade makes the game more bareable with shorter loading times between characters. Really interested to see how opinions develop over time as well as what the general audience thinks.
Looks way better than I thought it would from the leaks. Not great. But better. As a huge Prince of Persia fan, I'm buying this at launch if only for the hope that if enough people buy it, Ubisoft will revive the franchise. If it's just a visual upgrade and the combat is only slightly refined than it should be pretty fun, last time I played SoT, it held up pretty well.
This is so scummy, I hope everyday that videogames aren't going down this route but it's embarrassing how many as a service games have been announced just this year. I love PlayStation but it's sad how third parties are using properties that are loved by so many (DC, Marvel, Star Wars) and delivering garbage and thievery to the fans. There is absolutely no way this is going to stop unless people stop feeding into it just because they're fans of the property.
I really love this poster. Especially since everyone thought Rocksteady would be working on a Superman game after the Arkham series. It's also just a cool twist on what we're used to with comic franchises.
There was a leak a while ago suggesting this game would be a games as a service game though. Really hoping it's more like the Arkham series and not like the upcoming Avengers game.
Really hope they bring back Michael Ironside to voice Sam. Excited for this even if I personally never wanted it, would really like a new game but Ubisoft isn't usually into making "new" games. Let's hope their management shake up can make the company interesting again.
It looks much more enjoyable than the leak lead on, I wonder how much changed and why between the two builds. Still not a huge fan of how floaty the combat system from Odyssey feels but the finishers look hefty enough to offset that, they're super gory and satisfying. Still really hoping after this game that they move away from some of the heavy RPG/Fantasy elements, fighting giant wolves and people, glowing loot chests, damage numbers and all the other HUD obscurities really takes me out of the time period where the older games felt more immersive.
Overall I'm excited! If it's closer to Origins than Odyssey I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun!
I would, because I love videogames so much. I'm already paying $70-80 because I collect steel books.
It'd be nice if that meant that developers could get paid better though. Games like The Last Of Us Part II are good enough to stand toe to toe with the biggest movies yet, the people working on it likely aren't getting paid well enough for how much work they're doing.
It's a shame, Assassin's Creed used to have unique gameplay that no other game had. Now it's just ripping off Witcher 3 as much as it can.
I was excited for this game but it's gonna take a lot to get me to buy it after seeing this gameplay footage.
Few developers excepted, but not enough 3rd party games are taking risks in creating their own unique gameplay, Ubisoft used to be better at this but with their Battle Royale announcement, constant Witcher 3/GTA copies, and Far Cry's unwillingness to evolve, Ubisoft is at its most stale.
Hopefully now that they have weeded out some of the scum they can hire some creative people and bring these franchises back to what made them special.
Has anyone seen any first impressions? I actually wasn't all that excited for this game til the last State of Play. I collect steelbooks so it'd be nice to pre order it before it sells out, but new IP's are always a risk.
If they're doing a new Uncharted I really, really hope they leave Nate alone, we got a perfect ending to his story. My ideal successor would have a brand new protagonist that occasionally crosses paths with Sam and Sully.
If I would have known the new consoles were gonna have cheaper disc-less variants a year ago I would have picked that version, but I only recently started collecting hard copy blu-ray's and videogames and I don't want to have to transition to digital only! Disc-less looks so much better though...

Whatever this game is. It's going to get torn apart when it's revealed.

This is a bad design, different colors would help. I should hold out for the slim but I rarely have the patience.

Re: Mortal Shell Scratches Your Dark Souls Itch, Er, This Month
I'm not really into Souls gameplay, but the art style for this one is awesome that I wanna try it out.
It's obviously extremely Dark Souls"inspired" but it looks slightly different in a more appealing way for some reason, I can't put my finger on it.
