IDC about owning games. I just want to play good games and Ubisoft stopped making good games in 2012.

BG3 is def the best game this year. Nothing comes even close.

I personally find it very odd that you can play the leaked build of Wolverine on pc right now, but the finished version will be available years after the PS5 launch.

If they ain't even able to kill those 2 filler characters from the starting city in the original who are they going to kill? It sure as hell won't be Tifa and Aerith. And if it's not those 2 then who cares?

I love leaks. They do a better job at communicating with us what the game is than official trailers.

I don't think that Kratos is boring, but his son is definitely bringing the overall package down. I can see how some people might ***** on the new Kratos, but it's misguided.

Every game is different. God of War works with difficulty modes because combat is all the game offers you meanwhile Elden Ring is designed to make you think carefully about how you explore and progress.

I spent a few minutes working on an idea I had for a game, but then stopped. Just like the cancelled TLOU2 mp it was better than all other games.

@LordAinsley It rivals them just because it's relying on cutscenes as much as some movies and tv shows.

@LordAinsley The bar for storytelling was imo higher back then because developers still tried to do as much as possible without lazy cutscenes.

The bar was lower for lip sync , animations etc

It's very heartwarming to see Elden Ring on here instead of HFW. Sometimes the good guys win. Although AC is too damn high. Who buys this crap?

Imo spider men was as disappointing as Starfield. It's too light and goofy. The Batman games were better.

The truth is that if only 1 live service game becomes as big as COD or Fortnite it would erase all losses and even propel the studio into a higher stratosphere. No SP game can do this.

Sony and WB should def try until they get it right.

TBH I can't blame studios for not always catering to their employees. As long as you are not breaking laws do what you feel will bring you the most money. Nothing else matters ultimately. It's what keeps the lights on.

@nomither6 Rockstar may not release a lot of games anymore, but they release the best games so I can't complain. Especially when the rest of the industry is releasing crap like Horizon and AC.

@Ravix GTA 4 is repetitive AF tho. I think that the success of GTA V is proof that creativity and variety are more important that groundedness.
