@BAMozzy I think the reason why Halo 5 doesn't seem that great is because all we're seeing are clips of gameplay. Game conferences are there to hype games up and you do that with a carefully scripted cinematic trailer!!!
compare Halo 5's original e3 trailer, the one where Master Chief walks across a frozen landscape. That was awesome! That got rumors going! That made you just gasp at would could be in the new game!
Seeing Locke and company shoot their way across a hallway? not so much.
I kind of feel sorry for Peter Dinklage though. I'm willing to bet that the script had more to do with his bad performance than anything else (and that all the good, funny lines were cut). And if Nolan North does a good job, it will only be because he has a ton of voice-acting experience to fall back on.

This trailer really tripped me out. Like, I really hope those guys did something really heinous to be murdered like that. But maybe Lara has always been like that ( murderous madwoman...offing dinosaurs with dual pistols) and I just didn't know since Tomb Raider on Xbone was the first Tomb Raider game I played. (o_O )
Looks like it has a lot of stealth though, hope I have the option of sneaking through confrontations...

Wow, I'll have to buy a ps4 then. I think playstation network sucks all sorts of sucky, but their console itself is pretty good. Not to mention that it has a very wide variety of games. And no exclusives? lol. Have you bothered checking out Gamestop's upcoming release pages for each console? PS4 has like 10 more games than Xbox and that number will only grow. Not to mention it practically has 90% of Japanese games as exclusives.
I have an Xbone, but even I have a hard time ignoring all the good things PS4 has going for it. Hopefully the PS4 slim comes out soon.
I'm going to get the GOTY edition. All of the dlc in one convenient package (and this is EA we're talking about. I bet they'll milk this to death with dlc).
forget that. why should I buy a 200 dollar system if sony isn't going to bother treating it like something more than an accessory for the ps4 (which I don't even own).
I almost bought one before e3 (glad I didn't) but then I took a look at the memory cards and I was like "lol, nope." E3 convinced me I made the right choice.
What sucks is the vita looks like THE console to buy if you like jrpgs... (T-T )
I want to play it because I want to understand the hype. The trailer looked kind of boring imo, but I never played the original so maybe that's why I felt that way.
I'm definitely ok with this. I think art style more than makes up for graphics (I still love WindWaker's look) and prefer great art direction over hyper realism. And I would rather have a better realized game world than hyper realistic graphics.
