@k_sinner That's because these games objectify in a way that few games do to males. Males are always buff or capable and usually do everything they do while also being fully clothed or armored. I, personally, don't have anything wrong with a swimsuit party/ casino game (and I would love a pro-volleyball game), but it bothers me that there's no gender equality in these. Putting Ryu in would go a long way in saying games are no longer just a "boy's only" type of club and there's something here for everyone.
But even now I'm still disappointed that there's no Ryu private paradise in doa5 and I may skip this game because there's also no Mila or Lisa. (T-T )

I won't completely write it off though, since I'm enjoying Star Wars much more than I thought I would and that's only multiplayer. At this rate, even the Wii U's Vc is out performing it, and that's kind of sad.

Also, while I haven't watched the movie yet, from the trailers, I love Bageera and Sher Khan. Their voices are good and command a lot of character. I couldn't stand Baloo's and King Louie though, so I'm probably going to skip the movie.

@Gamer83 No one complains about the New3ds because 1) there's only 1 game that is exclusive to it and most have never heard of it. 2) There's only one game out there that it noticeably worse on the Vanilla3ds, Hyrule Warriors (although for those who ARE interested in following that game, then yes, you'll find a lot of angry gamers) 3) Everyone is tired of rebuying SNES games at 10 dollars a game and 4) Most (like 99%) developers develop for the Vanilla3DS and don't even bother with the extra processing speed of the New3ds.

I think Demon's Souls had the better "full" experience, mostly because the story was pretty straightforward and you actually got a satisfying ending.
Dark Souls had the best world design, and awesome lore, but both endings are a huge slap to the face after putting in so much effort.
Dark Souls II was weird. World design wasn't nearly as good, but I liked the story better, and the ending was pretty decent. Better than Dark Souls' ending. Combat was also much more polished with tons and tons of different builds.
Dark Souls III, just getting started so no opinion yet, but I like not turning hollow.
Bloodborne had a fun combat system, but some of the worst bosses in the Souls game, imo. Also, very limited builds, and a schizophrenic art design. I got sick playing that game, it's almost as bad as Arkham City in how so much of the level's art direction are just stimuli overload. Makes me miss the more streamlined, more nuanced approach to the Souls games.
The first season was the only good season. But I'm still disappointed that the Xbone isn't getting a western release considering how important Xbox treated it in Japan. (T-T )
Oh well, I'm still buying this. Time to be part of the Sybil System again...
Since after about 15 or so levels it doesn't matter what class you picked I always choose my starting class based on my own head canon, and who I want to play as depending on the story.

I got the uncharted collection with my ps4. I didn't like it. There were a few really good moments in it, and it reminded me a lot of Indiana Jones, but there are too many "arena" type moments where you're stuck in a room with a ton of badguys, and they just keep on coming and coming and coming. Too hard for me (and I've beat Bloodborne and Demon's Souls).
If my copy was a physical disc instead of a digital code I would have traded this a long time ago. (T-T )
I think it will be good, and sell over 10 million and be profitable. But I don't think it will be a crazy runaway success for Square Enix until they start to release 15-2 and 15-3.
This would be so lame if it did happen. Unfortunately, L337 Gamers, and PC MasterRace wannabees have been very vocal on the performance of the ps4 and xbox1 that I'm pretty sure MS and Sony will make this a reality.
The sad thing is, yeah, fancy state of the art graphics are nice and all, but we already have all the technology we need to make a good game with a good story. I would much rather see video game companies innovate with their stories rather than try to chase this ever elusive goal of "realistic" graphics.
Bought her a couple of days ago. I love her blue default armor. I think it's really elegant and beautiful. Revealing though (but this is DoA so I guess that's to be expected). She's definitely player friendly though, her combos are crazy easy to do. She doesn't do a lot of damage, but I guess that's a fair trade-off.

Have you seen Hyrule Warriors for New 3ds? It's like they barely bothered optimizing the game for regular 3ds. It performs so terribly compared to on a New 3ds, they might as well have not bothered. If consoles don't allow us to upgrade with parts, and instead just make us buy enclosed, upgraded models (like cell phones), then this is the future of gaming. You'll see a lot more games performing terrible with anything that is not the most advanced model.

You get a ton of characters, story mode (which is pretty long), and a pretty good amount of unlockable costumes, as well as online multiplayer. All for about 20 bucks (or 60 if you bought it when it first came out)
But if hardcore tournament players only care about the online multiplayer, they can download the game for free, spend maybe 3 dollars to get their favorite character, and then play online forever and ever and ever.
That's what Capcom should have done. Release online multiplayer for free, with maybe 4 characters, and the option to buy more, all in time for that tournament they wanted. Then later on release the full game, with all the characters, the story mode, the arcade mode, the training modes, the mission modes, etc etc. for 59.99.
also, costumes are extras. You can spend hundreds of dollars, or none. It's up to you, but whatever you choose, it won't affect the core gameplay.
We're kidding, of course – it's a brilliant result for Campo Santo, and we can't wait to see what it does next.

but I'm not surprised. I hear people talking about how disappointed they are about SFV all the time (some small hyperbole there). I have two friends who are die hard fighting game fans and they say they're going to boycott SF. I've even heard employees at stores try to talk people out of buying the game. People are really upset about this.
I'll tell you exactly what started this. Trophies and Achievements. Before those two things, games were fun. You either beat them or you didn't, and there were a few that played games to 100% completion, but there was barely any competition on who was a more hard-core gamer. You either had played a game or you hadn't, and if you had, you had fun talking about it. But now, it's all about who has the higher Trophy Score etc etc. laaaame!
I turned off my trophy notifications the moment I got my PS4.

I have a Ps TV. Cutest console I've ever owned. I still play it a lot too. I have PS1 games, PSP games, and tons of Vita games, so I'm really happy (especially since it's the only console that has Visual Novels).
It's probably one of my favorite consoles based off of just the cuteness factor. The only thing keeping it from being perfect (in my eyes) is lack of Netflix support. (T-T )

Anyways, I don't think "Thief's End" refers to Nathan Drake. I think it refers to some previous adventurer who started the quest that Nathan and his brother are now on. But this "Thief's End" was so dramatic and important that it has dangerous ramifications to Nathan and Co.
Also, if I was to bet money, I would say his brother is going to die. Most likely after betraying Nathan, and then he goes out like a hero, trying to make up for his betrayal and all of his past mistakes.
btw, I have the Uncharted Collection, but haven't beat the first game yet. (o. o )
@Reverandjames @Gamer83 or not. I absolutely love 5! It's my second favorite Resident Evil game (and the first one we bought), but I can't stand Resident Evil 6 (well... except for the Leon campaign. That one's ok).
I've never owned plus and I've never found a reason to change my mind otherwise. I mostly play single player games, and if I wanted to do online multiplayer I had Dust 514 on the ps3, and now Blacklight.
And yes, I have tried it before. This last weekend I could barely get any decent games going, and my connections were always crappy. So, nah.

anyways, this news breaks my heart. I love Psycho-Pass and I've been wanting this game for a long time, but I wanted it for my Xbox. This is disheartening for 2 reasons.
1) the Xbox has exclusive features that allow you to use your smarthphone or windows glass to interact with the game and help solve crime scens
and 2) Xbox had this as an exclusive for awhile, and it's not coming to the U.S., which (unless it's a licensing issue, which I doubt) means that they don't care about Japanese games outside of Final Fantasy and Resident Evil, and that they don't care about fans of Japanese games who happen to own an Xbox in the U.S.
It's fun to eat ice-cream this way for the first couple of licks (especially since you can lick the top little curly-cue off). But unless you're careful and rotate the cone as you lick, you're asking for your ice-cream to fall off (not fun).
@get2sammyb you could do a survey. (^_^ )/ btw, I do not have plus, and I have never felt the need to. I have either only single player games, or games that I'm able to play locally with friends. That being said, I intend to get as many multiplayer trophies as possible this weekend before I go back to being a ps plus pauper.
@ShogunRok makes me think of zero suit samus from Smash Bros Wii U. Every time I play as her and pause to take a picture or something, my inner voice (inner ankle?) just screams out in pain. you. do. not. run. in. high. heels! ever! or jump, or kick. I'm cringing right now, just thinking of how bad you can break an ankle.

It's probably one of my favorite consoles based off of just the cuteness factor. The only thing keeping it from being perfect (in my eyes) is lack of Netflix support. (T-T )

Anyways, I don't think "Thief's End" refers to Nathan Drake. I think it refers to some previous adventurer who started the quest that Nathan and his brother are now on. But this "Thief's End" was so dramatic and important that it has dangerous ramifications to Nathan and Co.
Also, if I was to bet money, I would say his brother is going to die. Most likely after betraying Nathan, and then he goes out like a hero, trying to make up for his betrayal and all of his past mistakes.
btw, I have the Uncharted Collection, but haven't beat the first game yet.

or not. I absolutely love 5! It's my second favorite Resident Evil game (and the first one we bought), but I can't stand Resident Evil 6 (well... except for the Leon campaign. That one's ok).

I've never owned plus and I've never found a reason to change my mind otherwise. I mostly play single player games, and if I wanted to do online multiplayer I had Dust 514 on the ps3, and now Blacklight.
And yes, I have tried it before. This last weekend I could barely get any decent games going, and my connections were always crappy. So, nah.

Resident Evil 5!!! whaaaat!! I'm buying that game day 1. This game is pure nostalgia for me! I can't wait. I hope Capcom adds more costumes. (^_^ )

anyways, this news breaks my heart. I love Psycho-Pass and I've been wanting this game for a long time, but I wanted it for my Xbox. This is disheartening for 2 reasons.
1) the Xbox has exclusive features that allow you to use your smarthphone or windows glass to interact with the game and help solve crime scens
and 2) Xbox had this as an exclusive for awhile, and it's not coming to the U.S., which (unless it's a licensing issue, which I doubt) means that they don't care about Japanese games outside of Final Fantasy and Resident Evil, and that they don't care about fans of Japanese games who happen to own an Xbox in the U.S.

It's fun to eat ice-cream this way for the first couple of licks (especially since you can lick the top little curly-cue off). But unless you're careful and rotate the cone as you lick, you're asking for your ice-cream to fall off (not fun).

btw, I do not have plus, and I have never felt the need to. I have either only single player games, or games that I'm able to play locally with friends. That being said, I intend to get as many multiplayer trophies as possible this weekend before I go back to being a ps plus pauper.
