@rjejr we keep the data, yeah, need to make it available so you can see who liked it. I don't want to send notifications every single time someone hearts though
As quite a few people have requested a "back to top" button, I've added this. On mobile it'll appear fixed at the bottom of the page after a couple of page scrolls - making it easy to always jump back to the top.
That button won't appear on desktop, but there is another "^ Top" link in the footer, next to the contact us, that'll do the same thing.
@BAMozzy hmm okay, I see what you are saying. I can certainly make changes so that the /news (or even a new /new section) that is more friendly to those that only want to know what's super new in date order. Good feedback
@Bliquid hmm, not quite sure what you mean on the homepage? Do you mean when there is a longer headline, the space under the image? Maybe send me a screenshot [email protected]
@DerMeister it's quite different from NL - the article listings is very different, we didn't adopt the "tile" view here. Agreed things like the "featured articles" is similar though.
@AFCC thanks! I'm not quite sure what you mean, but the latest news will include all types of articles, news, previews, reviews, features, competitions etc.
@Octane maybe you can solve your main issue by going to /news by default (maybe update your bookmarks?). When people come to the homepage we want to show off the best content on the site from the last few days, as not everyone visits every day.
As for the timestamps, yeah we could certainly make it a user setting to choose between 12 and 24 hour clocks. I'll make a note of that I'll look into the timezone thing too, however to be honest the site uses javascript and your computers local clock.
@BAMozzy the 'latest news' section for 'Today' includes all articles, including reviews. So you don't need to scroll at all. The 'Today' shows you all the content for that day.
@BAMozzy there is quite a lot different from the NL design, actually. The homepage and article lists are completely different. We've made a lot of changes, you might not see them instantly, but they are there.
As a fan of the original games I would have to offer a slightly different opinion here. Yes the controls and AI are bad/difficult but I believe that to be a deliberate attempt to recreate the feeling of the PC classic. It's intentionally bad in some aspects and that's just fine for someone like me and it's exactly what I hoped for - it feels just like Carmageddon.
That said, I would totally agree that it's probably not going to be much fun for anyone that wasn't there the first time around. It won't make any sense to them. It would have been interesting for the developer to have included a mode with 'real' controls just to see how it would play, but I can still totally accept it for what it is.
I would have gone with the tagline "Max Homage". 6/10

@Quintumply @professorhat the massive logo with IE issue should now be fixed
Re: Site News: Welcome to the New Push Square
@Bliquid that's purely a speed thing, articles like this one take a long time to load all the comments on mobile, hence they being hidden by default.
