Before I got a ps4 I would buy pretty mucj all my games from retail if I could. PC games via steam as PC went mostly digital years ago, ps3 was retail as much as possible, and vita digital via sales. But since getting a PS4 and psn sales , I've purchased more digital then retail.

It's got a lot of benefits, such as remote play all my games are accessible as no disc needed, I don't have a shelf of disc boxes as I am a uncluttered person so I like that... And I can buy a game, download and play same day.

However, I can't sell the game, I can't trade the game. So pros and cons.

But, with Sony games releasing same price as store prices and psn sales so frequently popping up, digital is now very tempting.

Fantastic game back in 1995. And after just finishing it day i got this, as i still remember the solutions to all the puzzles as i played this game so many times when it was first released , it just brought back so many good memories...

Also this game is quick easy 100% platinum for trophy hunter's...

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi guy I know purchased a ps4 despite not really being a gamer. I said why grab one, he said its the only place to play star wars games. Hes a pretty big star wars fan, Sony marketing did wonders there..

I know plenty with ps4 systems. There is a group at work that have stuck with xbox but they are the minority and not the norm , I even posted the Amazon £199 ps4 to a mum. She purchased one for her son for xmas...

In the end, Sony has the mindshare regardless of if x1 sells well now or not. Ps4 has just gone into the homes and become a very well known bit of technology this year. Even parents know its more popular. Even star wars fans think Sony is the place to go for star wars games...

@get2sammyb neogaf thread pointed towards fallout 4 selling more on ps4 then both halo 5 and tomb raider combined. The mindshare is with Sony, square dropped it big time siding with MS on this one..

We can only hope trickling sales and a pick up for launches on PC and ps4 save the franchise as hopes for another tomb raider look slim indeed. And those who slammed you when you said tr would sell slow... Hmmm

@Gamer83 read what I said, I said corporation greed (square) and MS being slightly desperate for a title like uncharted... Sure MS want to shift consoles. Same as Sony , Sony purchased a software house back in the day. And it paid off. But this time around MS invested into greedy corporation, and as I said it backfired badly. Sony just seem to be hitting the sweet spot of enticing customers to spend their money on their products whilst keeping those same consumers feeling like Sony cares about them. Cause. It's utter rot, they want your money. And try getting your money back from Sony when it all goes wrong. Tomb raider is a great franchise gutted and left to die St the hands of square truth told.. But then , I know, I know. Sony have gutted a few studios in the past sadly, same as MS.

@Gamer83 That is down to corporation greed and MS wanting an exclusive like uncharted, but it from the looks backfired terribly for both MS and square. And many do not want it to fail, more were concerned with MS sending the game to potential death when launched same time as fallout 4.

@GlynCR agreed, read they wanted £55 for the new NFS reboot. Get real. And I thought psn prices were high. Actually fallout 4 is £49.99 on psn wonder how much it is in store at game? Either way, game really are on the highest priced retailers for video games.. Not to wish loads to enter unemployment. But really game, you didn't deserve to come back after almost bankruptcy.. Poor show.

@GlynCR hey be fair, I never said it looked bad, I was just mentioning that some are up in arms over its look, whereas I originally did state I think it looked pretty neat anyhow. Reason I'm going do I buy now is only due to battlefront mid month and I'm still plugging away at assassin creed syndicate. But if you're referring to anyone else should stop buying games if graphics is all they care about. Well again, if eye candy is their own thing, then that's up to them... Graphics, gameplay, style of game, its all personal preference..

There is an entire thread on neogaf about its graphics. Which to me is just hyperbole, I think it looks good to me...

Hype, do I buy or not... been reading a few saying graphics aren't much more then what fallout 3 were, but I think it looks pretty neat. First thing I'll do. Change the ui to blue, that green looks horrid , like florescent green lol

Played the beta on ps4. The roads felt empty, world felt dead and the rubber banding from the AI was terrible. Overall it was as a very pretty looking game with some serious rubber banding and a very empty feeling open world. Which firmly puts this one into the bargain basement or potentially a freebie on ps+ .

Shame. Oh and the fmv was utterly dire but it was clever how they streamed it into the game itself.

@Tulio517 well yes it is a problem, its releasing into a very crowded month of big hitters. But it doesn't help its only available on Xbox 1, but then if it was across all platform's and released in say march 2016 its then up against uncharted, so its looking to be a title that's just going to have to stand up for itself. Time will tell I guess.

@get2sammyb well I feel like Microsoft have sent tomb raider to die releasing on the very first day of fallout 4. Fallout 4 is a juggernaut compared to tomb raider. Dedicated fans will obviously pick up tomb raider, but I don't rate the next chapter in the reboot of tomb raider chances all that good.

Hopefully with tomb raider being staggered across three platforms it might pick up sales to ensure the series doesn't get laid to rest forever. As for halo, series fatigue maybe? Next weeks sales figures will be interesting , and the week after even more so....

Never was much of a fan with the halo franchise. Played the very first one on the original Xbox and knew then the series wasn't for me before it even became a massive Xbox system seller. Still its not good to see such a healthy franchise struggle as the series has a loyal and dedicated fanbase. I'm sure Microsoft are not overly thrilled with the latest sales figures for their own IP.

@GlynCR I have a ps vita, so I guess I could play ps1 classics on that, but ps1 / ps2 support on ps4 would be so awesomely cool. I know its only for nostalgia mostly but I grew up on ps1 and ps2 games. Sadly my ps1 died years ago. I also sold my ps2 and whilst I do have a ps3 kicking about somewhere I just think for convenience ps4 being able to play ps1 / ps2 games would be awesome. And a good marketing sale for Sony IMO.

How we meant to play these classics if all you've got is a ps4? Even if the game is on psn, good luck for ps4 owners, as it won't run. Sony need to get ps1 / ps2 support for ps4 and out up nearly the entire back catalogue of older classic ps1 /ps2 games for sale playable with ps4. It's a licence for Sony to print money.

Such a hard choice, so many games I like the look of. But horizon zero dawn it has to be, even though wild, Detroit and GT sport has me well interested. Ps4 is in for a super 2016.. So many games on the horizon. No pun intended ...

Sony might end up sending the xdev team in to help get it up and running , does mean it'll almost certainly rule out other platforms part from Sony and PC if this does happen but can't see Sony wanting this to go on for long if true due to its media exposure...

Seriously though, hopefully as consumers we see some benefit from this, such as Sony invest in older games that helped them to such successes?? Wipeout vr maybe ?? As looks like Sony have a large install bass for psvr ...

Is this just an online only game , or does it feature single player track racing, talk about the most confusing and lack of information announcement ever .. No idea what this game is, I've never touched any part of GT academy , I only play GT for single player track racing..

Got crimes and punishment free via ps+ but the frame rate and shocking screen tearing meant it was hard on the eyes to play. I did play the entire game. And even got the platinum trophy as despite the shocking performance on ps3 was an enjoyable game.. Hopefully they use a more ps4 friendly engine this time around... As even the ps4 version of crimes and punishment was iffy in places regards to performance.

Nah, this is a dreadful game, terrible controls, very simple looking and worse yet for the very simple cell shaded graphics the performance is terrible, its screen tearing all over, made me feel ill. Deleted very quickly myself - one of the worse PS+ titles in a while and worse , many of us voted for this. Terrible all round IMO

So is this a single player campaign with mp maps included? I get so confused as to what destiny really is, played the base game when it first came out. Seemed to me trying to play single player was only any good if someone tagged along otherwise it could be tricky to move forward...

GT6 came too late in the game IMO. Ps3 was being at the time replaced with ps4 and this meant GT6 was released to a system many were looking to upgrade. Forza 5 was a rush job. But least it gave x1 owners a racing game day 1. With drive club delays and even when released being very broken, GT6 on the ps4 with half its current content and upgraded resolution and improved sound would have I feel sold better ...

But now we await GT7 and now it's got some stiff competition with forza 6, project cars and acr. GT7 is going to have to be a stonker to recover I feel . graphically , content and sounds all need to be higher quality or on par with what's out there currently. No easy feat.

Sleeper hit? Does seem to be gaining traction and everyone seems excited to play it or those who have played it or are playing it speak highly about it..

Dedicated to his gaming impressive, I've seen his psn level before as I do look over psnprofiles since getting a ps4. I hit level 16 few days ago. I was like, awesome, 2100 trophies and 7 platinum , yet comparable to this guy. It's nothing.. But I'm still quite happy with it.

I also function on around 5 hours sleep, 6 at most . you do find going to bed at 1 am and getting up at 7am to get ready for work does equate to a lot of additional spare time. Looking over my trophy logs, the bulk of my trophies are earned between hours of 10 pm - 2 am .. Makes sense to me : -) I work full time and have kids.

They got it as they have a very strong working relationship with Disney who purchased all IPs of Lucas film including their games. Adam Boyes is good friends with a ceo of Disney I believe. It's certainly working in Sonys favour. I wonder if super star wars is a tester and they see how well it does. And they port the other two super star wars games over, and I bet the trophies are generally easy to get in these remasters / remake's? As trophy hunters will buy any game to increase their trophy card, and going on that Sony released a YouTube video for remote play helps trophy hunters. I think Sony know their audience. Shrewd moves by Sony. but its all business in the end. Sony want to gain as much as they can from this star wars marketing. It's pretty much a license to print money. And with the cod dlc deal on top. Well Sony are certainly in a very commanding position for the coming holidays.

Omg, sony you've gone and done it now. I want all classic star wars games with trophy support. This Sony / Disney relationship is working out very nicely.

I'm really pleased this, and other games like ether one, ethen carter , journey etc are doing well, it just makes a nice change to grab a controller ,have time to drink a coke or a beer whilst trying to solve what has gone on in the game world presented...

I'm all for blowing stuff up, of ripping tarmac up in cars I could only dream of touching yet alone drive, but a slow pace of game is a nice change... Pleasantly surprised by the fairly good reviews it's getting and I will snag this soon as its up on psn in the EU.. Well done Chinese room. Seems their dedication and hard work paid off. Now, need to drag myself away from rocket league..

Hype, its building and the hype is strong in this one.. Lets hope the force is also strong eh? Dog fighting did look cool mind. Can't deny that.
