So ever so slowly microsoft are getting some games that are tempting me to pick up an xbone. It's only taken a year. If the best they can do in 12 months is 3 games I think that shows how much they got wrapped up in their all in one console and completely forgot about the games

It only took a year but finally an addition to the ps4 that is actually useful..

5!!!!!! personally loving this game. Straight up old style. We're swamped with games that are trying to be the next big thing with ground breaking new ideas. They all fail so its nice to just get back to playing games how they should be played. Very disappointed with this review

Yet another example of why I shouldnt have bought my ps4 so early

Ive got to be honest I couldnt care less about netflix , amazon etc streaming. I want this sorely for the games and although of course sony couldnt easily add access to the likes of netflix I almost like the fact they havent put it on there. Sony have realised its about games, people see "playstation" and they want games. microsofts biggest mistake was putting games second. I think sony learned massively from the PS3, when it comes down to it people dont overly give a crap about media devices that can do everything.

Is this really worth getting ? Its been sitting on my shelf for the ps3 for a while and havent got around to it yet.

Sorry but its not been what I expected. Far to many games still coming along with poor 30fps. Far to many remakes. Games that were meant to be ground breaking have been just "so-so". Maybe I should have known better but i honestly thought there might have been a little bit more on offer 1 year in.

As far as im concerned any game that runs at 30fps is a failure to a certain extent. I surely can't be the only person who finds 30fps painful? At what point did this become an acceptable? If a dev is talking about how a game has been built from the ground up for the next gen consoles, says the target is 60fps 1080p, if it doesnt achieve that then clearly something isnt right. Delay the game and get it running properly. I would rather wait for a game that is playable.

Exactly why always online games really annoy me. There should be no reason why I can't play offline on this game... The few boring hours I put into this game I didn't encounter anything that required having to be connected.

To compare actual war zones to game just doesn't make sense to me. I've gamed my whole life. I would class myself a serious gamer. I certainly not desensitised though. I get a completely unique feeling when viewing anything related to conflicts. Last month I visited a Holocaust Museum, not at any point whilst walking around did I feel like gaming had equipped me for the things I was seeing and reading about.

Is he saying that these games are desensitising us? or have I read that wrong?
It maybe just me but in no way at all do I feel games have dumbed down my view on the world. If parents do their job and pay attention to the age ratings on games then I can't see how this can be so.
The world as a whole is more desensitised because of people like this guy who are willing to go into these situations, but unlike 20 plus years ago everyone no matter who they are or if they choose too gets to view the images. I would say internet and social networking are responsible for desensitising us. For me a game is an escape from the cruel world we live in.

Normal for console gaming. Its all about making a console that is developer friendly. Xbox360 done it last generation and it appears PS4 have nailed it this time.

All these new Additions and so called improvements mean absolutely nothing if the framerate isn't a solid 60fps.
All developers should be looking at Metro Redux on how to port a game to the new consoles.

Controls have always been awful on GTA games. Im sure they aren't happy until they've made a control system that just seems like it would be at home on the master system

I didn't play any of the betas so went into this not knowing anything. Have given it a couple of hours but I have to say I'm really nor impressed. It feels so Repetitive. Nothing about it it's making me really want to

For me this was a great game. Was so chilled out playing this, my wife watching and enjoying it just as much. If this is a free download for me on ps4 then i cant complain. I really don't understand the reaction to people who are not into this game. This judgmental reply of "because it hasnt got any guns and you cant kill anyone".is super annoying. As much i love this game i can quite easily see how some people would not enjoy it but it doesnt come down to either guns or journey.

Hmmm if my PSone has graphics like that it would have been insane. Thats a bit more PS2 i would of said

You can try and turn into something more in depth and interesting but at the end of the day take one look at the games line up there.

This , along with deleting 0% trophy lists plus a hat full of other PSN profile options should of been done ages ago , I actually am shocked at how Xbox has had all this years ago and even with the release of the Ps4 we are still awaiting such basic improvements ... Shocking

hmmmm more nonsense non important updates.. Seriously when are we gonna get something with some depth. Like the ability to play music and view our photos.
Also things like changing themes, avatars and general customisation options have surely gotta be high on the list

ouch.. as someone who is completely OCD about my games this is extremely annoying. hopefully the fact most games coming out now i will be buying on ps4 means i won't have to have any blue/white ps3 games in my collection

It must of big a huge similarity for them to stop the game. I mean look at all the shooters from the last 8 years. there aren't many that have massively unique sell points when all put together but then again that doesn't bother me as long as the game is good.
