I fell in love with Detention back when it came out, and was so disappointed that Devotion was taken off Steam. Brilliant interview, with the bonus that I now know Devotion is available on their website!
I honestly find PushSquare's daily articles about the updates more tiresome. Like, we get it, sarcastic headline, womp womp.
It's a remake of an existing game; it is new information to know that there'll be new original songs specifically composed for the remake, albeit not thrilling new information. But sure, let's milk a one sentence tweet for approx. 200 words of an article on a daily basis.
324 hours with Hades dominating as my top game, unsurprisingly. HFW came second, then Stray, Gotham Knights, and Disco Elysium! I was surprised how low my hour count was compared to how much I felt like I played, but it's been a hectic year tbf.
I played the first game to death and recommended it to everyone I thought would like it, so I'm more than happy to wait for the sequel to finish cooking!
Genuinely surprised at how not interested I was in what this trailer showed, considering I'm usually a big FF fan :/ Can't even put my finger on what exactly I didn't dig, just overall a bit underwhelming.
As a Nightwing stan, I'm obviously looking forward to the game, but I do feel that this needs a lot of polishing. Jason's traversal as magical bunny-hopping bc he was revived by the Lazarus Pit was certainly a choice, I don't love the civilian character models for either Dick or Jason, and Dick's walking animation in the Belfry was so hulking that it looked more like Jason's. These characters all have such a great history that I really want to see attention given to making them unique, true to their characters, and feel different when you switch from one to another.
At the very least, Dick's acrobatic fighting style looks great tho, and there's still time for the game to be polished up a bit! It'll likely be a day one buy for me just because I'm a huge Nightwing fan.
The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe for me! I loved the original on Steam and haven't replayed it since then, so it's been fun to revisit and see the new content. I'm also still hooked on Hades, making progress maxing out all the relationships and cleaning up some last prophecies.
I thought I was done with Kingdom Hearts, but I guess not. Ignoring the mobile games bc zzzzzz but KH4 looks impressive. I enjoyed KH3 gameplay but found the story really shat the bed in the last few hours, so I'm gonna look forward to KH4 just for more fun gameplay. Time for my annual KH2FM replay!
Seems well deserved! The only rogue-like I've played is Hades, and that feels fairly forgiving as far as the genre goes lmao. I'm very curious about Returnal but can't justify the asking price in the knowledge that I'll probably be terrible at it and not get to even the first boss. But I'm definitely going to give it a go when it's included in the PS+ tier!
The only PS3 games I'd be interested in streaming are probably Alice: Madness Returns, Arkham Origins and Persona 3. So if they're available, I'd probably pay for a month to play those, but otherwise, not that interested in paying to stream games I already paid for before.
I'm also on the Batman train hard after seeing the new film twice so far (and being a scouser, immense to see the landmarks I pass by every day in Gotham of all places), so replaying Arkham Asylum for a bit, at least until Hades and Horizon Forbidden West pull me back.
I've only played through the Arkham Trilogy over the last two years and they really lived up to the hype. Arkham Asylum was my favourite of the three, the claustrophobic quality of being closed in on the island with the inmates running loose just couldn't be beat by the other two games, though I've enjoyed them both as well.
I also loved both Telltale Batman games. (spoilers ahead) I'm not a huge fan of making Bruce's parents criminal, but season one executed it in a way I enjoyed, and season two letting us influence John Doe was brilliant, even if I was a little disappointed that Riddler was discarded so quickly (he's my fave of the rogues gallery). On the whole, I think their ranking is fair enough!
I haven't tried the Lego or Injustice games yet, but I'll have to pick them up at some point. In the meantime, looking forward to Gotham Knights (and inevitably maining Nightwing).
Before Hades, I never thought I'd like a rogue-like game. As much as I love playing games, I'm rarely good at them lmao, and I mostly just play for the story. But a friend convinced me to try Hades bc they knew I love Greek mythology, and fair dos, I'm hooked. The way the gameplay loop is tied into the story itself is brilliantly done. The first successful run took 18 tries, but after that first, I'm getting to the final boss each time now, and I'm not close to getting bored with the game. Definitely my GOTY, even if it came to other consoles earlier.
Oof, people commenting on this site really don't care for Bloober Team lmao. I really enjoyed the first one, wasn't hyped on the second, but overall think they're fun. Nothing ground-breaking, sure, but I don't expect every developer to be ground-breaking.
Dire month for me personally, as were the last several, but I'm not too fussed. I'm hopping between Kena, LIS: TC, and Hades whenever I have a minute of downtime, so I likely wouldn't have been playing any PS+ offerings any time soon anyway. Think my sub is up soon and may let it lapse tho, I don't do online so I'm only really with + for the monthly games and store discounts.
Haven't been able to put Hades down. Only reached the final boss once so far, and lost when he only had a hair of health left lmao. I've never gotten into a rogue-like before, so finding this one a bit addictive. Otherwise, years late, I'm finally having a go with Evil Within 2 to scratch that horror itch.

no difficulty settings is a hard pass from me, my reaction times are awful and easy modes are often the only way I can play some games lmao.

Definitely one I'm looking to get! The story looks interesting enough, but I'm mostly interested in the art style.
