Imo its a really good game indeed.Real good.However,i find the hud a bit intrusive.Constant on screen mission objective text and xp meter is just unnecessary.Finding it hard not to be ocd about it.I contacted Techland and ranted on a couple of posts on the official forum on the subject.Apparently one of their mods has taken note of the hud options gripes and is passing it on to the devs.I'm just crossing my fingers right now instead of playing it cos like i say its a rad ip but i can't help being distracted by the hud when i should be engrossed in the gameplay.

@get2sammyb Cheers,just checked my storage settings and it actually appears to be fully downloaded now,It was only a 5gb download yesterday as you mentioned.It must of downloaded without me noticing.Okay,Looking forward to some crazy zombie mashing this evening.

Games should be cheaper to preorder/buy early,then more expensive once they're Functional.

Ugh,well i'm missing 13 gb currently -glad i didn't start playing it then get brick walled.Its like - preorder and get a timed exclusive demo.Except its supposed to be the full the game.I guess a smooth launch is just to much to ask for these days.It used to be a total non issue.

How about Cod -dedicated server/cheater banning series.CodDSCB? i like the exosuits in aw,but its a horrible broken lagfest at the the moment.It had been okayish since a little while after release,but recently i've seen lots of guys looking like they are using lag switch or something.And theres bad server issues now.No season pass/dlc for me unless its fixed soon. @Godsire See,i like to complain as well!

@Godsire- Well sorry i don't agree with you.At least you have some empathy for me,i guess your alright.i suppose i'm just a weirdy like all the other people that enjoy dc,and its also morally wrong that we do.Any other games that you haven't played that i should be aware of?

@Godsire i disagree,if you don't care how it looks and plays now -how do you know if its a turd or not? you don't.Its great imho.people that pre-orderd/bought it early on could get a refund..its was broken,and now its fixed.Playing russell brand over it won't change a thing.

@Pipr @Ps4all @Kohaku The ps+ edition was only ever going to be a demo.Evolution/sony shouldn't of even metioned it imo.Terrible pr,terrible launch,but currently its a high quality racer thats easily worth your £20

i'd like buying digital if the service was better/cheaper.a dvd/bluray is a rubbish format,a big round spindly hunk of plastic with no protective case (remember cartridges or 3.5 inch discs?) a usb stick would be much better.

Hmm,well i'm a little confused -just to clarify,preloading isn't available thus people dont get their preorder bonus's when predordeing on psn? thats ridiculous,i preordered dying light complete editon digital version,should i cancel an just get the disc based version instead? Sighs,on the psn store it says i've preorderd the the complete editon and the vanilla version.Its a shambles,what to do?

i'd say anyone who has read what type of game it is,and what features it has - will be happy with their purchase,if tempted to get it.Also,gameplay is more challenging than i expected is which a big plus,hyper class with kers/drs,heavy precipitation at night,and manual gears -i'm not ready.

Cool vid,i reckon dl might surprise a few who are doubting techland's credentials.We'll see..

PlanetSide 2 PlayStation 4 Closed Beta" haven't heard anything from them yet.

Up and running okay for me in the uk (for now?) the mtu trick didn't work for me,its seems the best fix is having the patience of a saint..not ideal.If anyone can't play singleplayer -you need to "activate as primay console" in the system settings -unfortunately you have to be online first to do that i think.

Nice,i'm signed up for this - looks like pretty exciting stuff..with all the delaying hopefully their release date schedule is real now.

No luck with this..“the connection to the server has been terminated” (NW-31194-8) its not the nicest terminology is it? was on earlier.. Apparently its a maintenance code.

@get2sammyb i reckon with racing games its better to just have linear tracks with alternate routes/bit of off road - with a higher fps/better game mechanics (no rubber banding ect) I quite enjoyed the the crew open beta tbh- until i read everyone dissing it..fc4 is enough ubigame for me right now.i'm just desperate for a solid racing game,driveclub it is then (?) (that sentence looks strange)

Hmm,well i've had no interest in this franchise for years for some reason..but,if the first person mode works and its got southpaw controls an no aim assist then i'm interested..a bit.

Careful if you buy a ps4 from gamestop uk -my one turned up with no padding in the parcel.Faulty of course..I decided to a get replacement from sony, instead of a replacement from gamestop because it'd be more likely packaged properly..which it was.Big sponge box thing.

Well after indifference initially,i've found it quite entertaining..Hardly innovative,but i think simplicity is its greatest draw..its relaxing in a strange kind of way..Maybe i'm just sick of Bf4,That "fall" patch is abysmal imo.Destiny Schemestiny.Bungie > boring.Aw is an arcadey game,won't be playing it 24/7 like Bf4 - which is a good thing.Theres many other games in my backlog/forthcoming that i want play as well now.

Dead Island mp worked great for me..and Nail'd for that matter(apart from not many players after a while) @Godsire- Techland were forced by deep silver - their old publisher to release Dead island before it was ready.Theres an interesting interview here if you like http://www.polygon.com/features/2014/7/16/5825146/dead-island-dying-light Techland are good devs imho

Maybe it could be fixed up with a patch or two i suppose,might check it later..there is a lot of different games to choose from right now.(for once!)
