@Flaming_Kaiser The point is as far as i'm concerned is these 8 bit style eye hurting "freebies" are a stupid gimmick of a product in the first place..false advertising gimmick as well from Sony to claim that they are some type of cool free bonus..Inevitably its going to mean corners are cut somewhere else..its a waste of everyone's time at the very least..

Sony might as well phase out PS3 "freebies" sooner rather than later what with their massive profit margins to lame Megadrive style "freebies" ratio on PS4..(i love high quality indies though i must say) As for the Vita,i was considering getting one until it became apparent its definitely being completely phased out all together..Apparently pretty much every Sony product is failing profit wise other than PS4,imo they should spend on beefing up the specs for Neo a bit.I feel those who make the decision about high res vs 60FPS (shareholders/producers/publishers?) still don't understand that most gamers have the discernment that increased frame rate is much more desirable,Having said that - side issue but i think that Scorpio will struggle power wise due to running on windows 10,closed architecture or not,massive system hog of an OS..Sorry off topic a bit but my point is Sony has got all this massive profit but haven't said anything to my knowledge about making 60fps standard or at least more common,on their flagship product which is one of the most requested features - it seems they'd rather throw that cash at an upscaled 4K/30fps and gimmicky stuff thats just a hole in the pocket for them and the consumer (you name it,PSVR i predict will be included) Just hoping for more games to be 60fps on Neo,ideally patching up some of the current 30fps games..

@TomKnows @JoeBlogs @gingerfrog @AhabSpampurse Sorry guys -oh,my head hurts badly...I think my points were 1) Its been Sony's plan to squeeze PS fans fiancially since the ps4 was at a concept stage originally 2) Windows is a system hog,closed,architecture or not - thus Scorpio may under-perform quite badly.. 3) Apple are messed up,one way being - they have suicide nets at their main factory 'cos so many staff have jumped of the building and Al gore is one of apple's biggest shareholders.Hope i clarified myself a bit.

@stevie85 i haven't actually played any of the dlc yet -put off by the general underwhelming reception...... i must say though the last patch smoothed out the framerate for me very well,post far harbour i was getting all kinds of stuterryness,even freezing..so thats good... Put a fair amount of time in but still level 12,same type of thing hapened with Skyrim..i get stuck messing round in open world games or hooked into pvp fps's when really i want to get on some sp linear fps's.And other types of games.I hope the Neo's got a 2tb :/

In short no.There's no way it can possibly live up to how much its been hyped.Surley its Sony thats responsible for the over hyping? and yet everyone will be negging Hello Games.In any case,i reckon it'll be a bug-ridden but great game -and i'm increasingly annoyed with buggy games,the fact being they are smoothed out after a few patches showing that wern't finnished to begin with.still,better that scenario than ip being broken and totally ignored patch-wise after release (i.e Chivalry )

i thought this would happen,pretty much a steam early access title for over priced on consoles.Potential in this this game - but so many issues at time of writing..i'll check it in a few months i guess to see if its been fixed at all.Also, my wallet is hurting -thought i wasn't going to a get a PSVR - but considering it now..and deffo can't resist ps4N,and crazy backlog to get through right now.

Yep,Sociable (ugh) Soccer in a much better form that's been shown so far would really be the football fan's football game.I doubt that will happen but this type of top down/possibly a little isometric football game has a lot of potential for a much more fun,ballanced footy game than the silly broken Fifa/Pes.Of course this one isn't it.an easy prediction to make really..Fifa 16 Pes demo really put me off udating with those products this year..A new Fifa street i'd take seriously.I know a couple of pro fifa players and they only play Fifa 14.Thats probably the best effort yet this gen.but y'know..old teams..merh..I absouluty refuse any ultimate team type of ripp off.so not good.

I'd vote for N64 as my fave.. many great games..maybe rose tinted spectales a little here,but having lots of fun with each and every of the dozens of different games i had with it was how remember it.99% of titles were quality games.

@THEundying27 Hey man,don't know if will help but here goes - I have a Lg monitor and on the default picture setting the screen will turn off when the picture gets quite dark..Beyond annoying,Its some type of power saving "feature" thats makes the dynamic contrast ratio spec look better on paper and is "good" for Climate change or some nonsense like that (i.e Agenda 21, Eugenics ect)..i Digress,i found changing the picture mode to "Text mode" fixed the issue without messing up the picture to much -Then i adjusted the colour/brightness/contrast ect made the picture better than default..Fiddidly but the default settings at least on my monitor is just unbearably enraging when your playing a survival horror for example and your screen turns off.As for tv's,maybe dig around in the options a bit.some sets will have a simple option to fix the issue.As a last resort,one option is to google about getting into the factory settings -Just make sure you know how to return to default settings,big trouble if you get stuck with some weirdy changed up settings.its just i've had many diff problems with tv's and monitors before,so just trying to help.well maybe sony wll fix the issue hopefully anyway,sorry if i missed the point -sleepy time now.

@fluggy I want Dishonored 2,i think it is wanted in general imo....... Still dissapointed over all despite that there was a bunch stuff i liked there.Quake Hero's in parcticular,apparently it may well hit ps4 despite being announced otherwise.So its a semi -hypothetical PS4 title really that i'm most excited for.Thats a downer.As for certified ones,I actually wanted to see more indie stuff,Not Nes/Snes style ones but The Forrest,Ark,Formula Fusion Killing Floor 2 (not sure if that one's indie) and the like.Steep and BF1 seem pretty nice.Had a complete lack of interest in all the Sony stuff this year.Kind of glad E3 is finished,found it Stressful,I think 'cos of my potential fianicial collapse with all the new hardware on the way,Kind of want PSVR now,and of course PS4N.And Scorpio,or maybe a gaming PC or uh,i dunno.I need to sew my wallet shut for a bit now.

Quake Hero's is my most wanted,Its rumored to appear on PS4 later at least..Other than that BF1 i think.

i think neo is due to the vr.However,i really want 60fps now so i guess hopefully the ps4n will provide that more than the original.Psvr,well..Vr on the scorpio is almost def to be better.Except people having been reporting some gnarly issues with the occuls rift compared to psvr.The thing about scorpio is it runs on the win 10,system hog thats needs better hardware components to run at an equivilent standard of a dedicated console o.s for games.okay closed arctictechture but is it though? I think Sony should of put off vr till next generation,curent gen console are underpowerd so thats really the issue i guess..thats the root of the whole fiasco.Personally i don't find psvr very appealing,haven't tried one though and immersive survival horror vr ip's seem kind of exciting.

@Quintumply Quake for p.c only is a super massive kick in the teeth.And its not in the style of actual quake (Q1) subsequent sequels where a differrent game (diff story,art,theme ect) renamed quake 2/3 ect..That aside, i still love all quake..Maybe time to get a gaming p.c (Wonder what the recommended specs will be for QH - Doom 2016 needs a i7/4gb graphics card..)

Outlast 2, and Dishonored 2.Uh,lots of sequels i spose.Something new would be nice as well.Oh,how about Quake (1) Quake reboot/or sequel in the style of the the original.That'd would take the cake.

Well,i had great fun with the beta - Been a fan of vertigo inducing games since pillar jumping around on Turok N64.Going to get this.

Better woking rather than foggy i guess.i found that when i re-downloaded it all the main part of the game was very stuttery until i deleted most of my old saves.hmm..i'm yet to try FH either before or after the re-install,love weather in games but not to botherd about fog though.

Fingers crossed then,i applaud Push Square's firm stance on the 4/10 -Its already happened after all.Its been a big disappointment.

Hmm,well i watched some gameplay videos and it doesn't look very fun to me..But then i didn't like TF2 so..i'll stick with Doom for pvp for now thanks.Easy pass..Sorry internet.

Impulse bought it,well - saw a 65% critic rating for the pc version on Metacritic..Seems like there's a bit of fun in it at least..Ho hum,i'm a sucker for survival horror games -walking simulators not so much..Should of waited for the Push Square review eh lads? Another one for the backlog,which kind of makes the fact its so short good,complete n' delete.

Yay! i liked the look of the original so much i've been "saving it for a treat" all this time,along with the dlc.Man,really need to get to work at that backlog.Its those darn open world games -They keep eating up all my gaming time.There's only so much time in a life.Thats it,i'm going to work out a planned gaming schedule.Outlast 2 is surely going to be amazing,wicked.

I'm a bit of a Jason fan so deffo keeping an eye on this.

I'd really like an official announcement from sony in regard to whats going to happen with current PS4 titles on Neo -For example,Is my backlog of titles at 30fps going to be 60fps on Geo - and is that going to be free patches for each game or "Ultimate Definitive Edition" for each at full price again? Until Ps4.75 When its "Ultimate Definitive Super God like Edition" again at full price.The whole blueprint for multiple versions of the same game on different versions of console potentially introduces a lot of different issues that can't be fixed by user due to closed architecture.

Bit of a hurty wallet right now so no complaints from me.

@LieutenantFatman Exactly.To be fair,apparently there was a lot of work at From post release with tweaking technical gubbins and what not that made a massive improvement in performance (patch 1.03) i was considering holding off buying 'till that badboy.As ever with not so great huds,it'd be so easy for devs to make it better.Lets hope they give it some attention for 1.05.

Tsch,i'd really like to see an improved hud/hud options -its a pet peeve of mine.Its still the original "place holder" hud..there's an option for no hud but that's a little tricky obviously.I think it could be a lot smaller and also have options to select which hud elements or not are required (Massive weapon icons taking up 1/5 of screen is distracting and not helpful) Apparently,the old Souls games (at least DS2) have hud options? also,Bloodborne has a perfect minimal hud.This one,narh..Its lazyness i tell ya,no other reason for it.Great game but still.

Nothing wrong with arena type shooters..its a stripped back,balanced test of gun-play..Excellent physics and high quality productions values every time from ID Software - SP or MP..i hope for a hardcore mode PVP on New Doom (no autoaim,extra damage and equipment) Sorry lil' off topic there -As for the DLC stuff,it seems a bit steep -but hard to refuse for me unfortunately,as its probably lacking in content..Still who knows..

Console gaming is supposed to be better value than P.C.Playstation is looking more and more like a rip off at this point. PS4 Vanilla+the extra expense of console games+PSVR+peripherals PS4.5+4K TV+ = No thanks,i'll get a P.C instead.The only reasonable way for Sony to do PS4.5 is an official collect and exchange Courier with a say,£100 fee.Think Gamestop or whoever will sort you out with a good part exchange? Nope.Yes the PS4 is underpowered,But then -It doesn't run on Windows.Traditionaly,Games consoles have always had gradually more more juice squeezed from them as they age.would a P.C with the exact same specs as a ps4 run Uncharted 4? I originally thought that devs could just about manage with the ps4 specs,Based on Bf4,Killzone and such -i guess not,so Sony flogged a rip off then,now they (probably) want to charge full price again because its not cutting the mustard..probably mainly just because the PSVR is struggling to get 30fps on basic titles with the vanilla.Everybody knows even High end PCs can struggle with Vr,so why are we getting a VR unit for PS4? (and/or PS4.5) The whole convoluted marketing shenanigans of Sony has left a bad taste in my mouth recently,And i'm not sure i want to buy anything off them now 'cos of it.
