Re: Xbox Set to Announce Multi-Platform Plans Next Week

i am pretty excited for this. i don't think this means ms will be leaving hardware , i think you'll still see a new xbox coming out , but they'll be doubling down between hardware and software. i mean i called this years ago. do you really think they bought all these developers just to keep their games exclusive? or to sell those games on multiple consoles including ps5 , maybe nintendo and pc along with xbox.

Re: Rumour: Xbox Console Exclusive Starfield Is Setting a Course for PS5

twitchtvpat

honestly it was only a matter of time, i actually said this would happen that a lot of these games would be timed exclusive , but they would be stupid to not eventually put these games on ps5. if that means starfield and indiana jones will be coming then elder scrolls would be coming too , but i don't see elder scrolls even being a thing till ps6.

Re: Could Sony, Hideo Kojima's Physint Be the First Announced PS6 Game?

@Shad361 the pandemic clearly slowed game development down a lot , but people seem to forget that. not to mention costs to develop these games just keep going up because people expect more and more. they have plenty have studios working on games would you rather they rush them or make the best game possible? those era's people keep bringing up developers made their teams pull 80 hour weeks to meet deadlines , those days are long gone as they should be.

the fact that kojima and sony are working on a spirtual successor to metal gear is pretty great , silent hill looked good , death stranding 2 looked really good. looking forward to judas i loved bioshocked. owning a psvr2 im looking forward to metro. overall i thought it was a pretty good showing.

Re: Microsoft, Activision Cut 1,900 Jobs in More Video Game Layoffs

@KundaliniRising333 you have to ignore all of that in the end though. you have to ignore how much they paid to purchase them , and how much they are worth. that doesn't mean anything in this case. at the end of the day if they don't have enough work for that many workers , they have to lay people off. i mean it is a job after all , they can't just keep paying people just for them to have a job if there is no work for them. that's completely unrealistic to expect that. its perfectly normal to feel bad for them because they just lost their job , and there is nothing wrong with that thinking either. but i'm just looking at it from a business point of view in why these things happen.

@KundaliniRising333 tech industry faces a lot of bloat. It’s the reality of things. Even if profits are high , they have way too many people being paid with not enough work. This comment is directed towards a lot of people on here that don’t understand this. No company enjoys laying people off. But it’s part of reality that people don’t understand.

Re: Sounds Like Sony's Next State of Play Livestream Isn't Far Away

@AlexPorto i disagree the fact we don't know isn't frustrating , but exciting to me. i can't wait to see what they are working on. i get it we all want to see those games. but they'll be announced at some point and it will be worth it. the fact that a lot of stuff hasn't been leaked in 2024 is just crazy. we have no idea what asobi , bluepoint , firesprite , san monica, among other developers are currently working on.

@itsfoz i mean clearly if we don't know what they are working on , that its going to be a surprise , and personally i'd rather find out when they announce it instead of having it leak out. i think when they do announce these games every one is going to be pretty happy.
