@PerpetualBoredom i mean thats like saying why some one would need to upgrade their gpu or any other computer part , by 2027 or 2028 that's 7-8 years after the ps5 came out. new hardware will always be an upgrade over current stuff.

@The_Elder dawnwalker looks great, i feel like once it gets a solid release date it will get more hype. it was a studio i wish that sony picked up.

there are some games like the assasins creed 4 remake ( we all know its coming) that i would have voted for.

@graymamba i mean i'm excited for gta6 but outside of 2 trailers we haven't seen any of it when wolverine's last trailer kind of showed a lil bit more in how the game will look imo. i feel like if we've seen more of gta6 and some details it would have won pretty easily also the delays doesn't help.

you can't really delay something that wasn't even announced in the first place and that doesn't even have a release date , at this point its just all guessing and assuming.

@Jammer I feel like they are going to lay heavy in some of the unannounced games like whatever Naughty Dog's 2nd game is , Corey's new game , and the rumor that a new Horizon game has been developed for a few years already.

hopefully there will be a silent hill 3 remake i wouldn't be against a full remake of silent hill origins as well.

@belmont having a ps4 and a ps5 along with a pro , i compare it to playing a game on pc , you can play the same game across several figuration's of a pc , but the game will always look and play better on the more powerful configuration. even if a game is playable on the ps4 i would much rather play the best version possible which is on the ps5 pro.

@Fluberuper honestly its not going away , and imo if developers use it as a tool to aid them and help create games much faster i'm all for it. i think we can all agree i'd rather not see completely generated ai games but developers should use all the tools that are available to them to enhance their game.

well next year we have halo 1 , tomb raider 1 , prince of persia , assassins creed black flag , and hopefully the splinter cell remakes

call of duty was huge in my life when i was younger , he was one of the main reasons i bought titanfall right away , my thoughts to his family , rip

i actually liked the game i didn't think it was bad , of course it could have been better , so i'm excited to see what this "big" update actually brings.

@Shinnok789 not sure where you get that from but this game has been worked on for years at this point , and gaas game they were working on was being worked by a different team at naughty dog, they were the ones that were let go when the game was cancelled.

@DogPark story games are great with trophies , it made me replay or even do the little things to get a trophy , but in a fighting game like this which is just a fighting game does it really need trophies? win one game , win 5 games , win 10 games , doesn't sound exciting to me.

i get peoples point , but unless its a major studio backing a game , its an indie game.

@GalacticBreakdown imo i like that though , i get why its not for every one , but i want a game to be more then just fighting , but also have a big focus on the fighting , you need stuff in between to create that story.

for a ps2 game this game looks amazing with the enhancements on , we need a brand new sc game its been too long

so many games i'm looking forward to its hard to pick just 5 not to mention rumored games like ac4 black flag remake thats rumored for 2026 , so there could still be games not even announced as well. then again here i am still trying to beat games i bought last year lol.

@nomither6 i wouldn't mind a spiritual successor to sly , kind of like how naughty dog is doing a sci-fi ish jax and daxter successor with intergalactic

which game will come first star wars ecplise ( assuming thats still a thing) blade or this.

@Nepp67 two different games they never did a space game before so that was their first try , but they've done plenty of elder scrolls so im sure its a lot easier to do something you've already done so many times vs trying something for the first time.

@get2sammyb do we know anything about the story yet , is it a brand new one or is it connected to any of the past games?

no assassins creed announcement , i guess one of the few leaks that didn't come true. i'm guessing it will be announced soon though.

@Americansamurai1 why do you think sony does the state of plays instead of a lot of these other things. all these reveal/ trailer events cost money to show your trailer on. its not free.

i'd rather see sony pick these up instead of tencent , pif or microsoft.

@Ricksta there is nothing wrong with not liking a game , there are tons of games that either people love them or didn't get into them , but thats why we have so many games because there is always something for every one to enjoy. at least if people give a game a shot and think ya this isn't a game for me.

plus anything announced on the award show , i'm excited , i should finish up the games i bought this year first before i worry about next years games lol.

i'll have to get this game at some point since im a big fighting game fan , put in ryu and maybe another street fighting cross over character and i'll jump

@get2sammyb people saying they don't have enough games to play meanwhile im still trying to finish up games i bought months ago lol.

@PegasusActual93 currently they have to say that , because well the deal isn't even official yet , and will take a few months to go through all the channels to make it proper , but i feel like they'll eventually pair it together like disney is doing with hulu and espn.

@BrownOwl the irony is it could be the best thing ever for ea in the long run , i mean the saudis don't really care about money they clearly have plenty of it , so ea could end up taking more risks , dead space 2 remake? sure, college baseball ? sure , dantes inferno sequel ? why not. maybe i'm wrong , but if they just throw money at ea to make games , i could see games that were rejected by ea originally get a second chance.

@dBackLash i had my ps4 plugged into my bedroom tv , and i'll say this the ps4 does look nice , but honestly the ps5 is pretty much having a new console and a ps4 pro all in one, not to mention i can notice a pretty big difference in how games run playing on a ps5 pro vs ps4, so yeah ps6 seven years later after the ps5 came out , i would say 7 years of tech improvements yeah why not , i mean no one really needs video games in general , you can clearly live with out them so just enjoy it i guess?

@zhoont well if that happend it would hurt the pc gaming market instead of console as playstation is amd , or it would help increase amd's market value.

i actually loved the Kinect , the xbox one version worked pretty well imo

this article is confusing , what exactly were you expecting? i got free on ps+, and its not a remake, its still a ps3 game.

@Vermines honestly i doubt its a playstation exclusive they are teasing but a new uncharted game would be great.

@Reyzore why would they be teasing saros when its already announced? im pretty sure its for a new game.

i hope they have some type of colab with 007 and hitman.

@Contimaloris honestly if they can remake it i'd rather that , it looks decent but it would need a lot of work to port to current gen or future consoles , that you might as well redo the assets better.

@Vermines there can still be creativity and talent while using ai as a tool to get things done faster. if they have the ability to make things faster , then why not use the available tools to do so?

@Porco i feel like people remember those days more then what they actually were , don't get me wrong i enjoyed resistance and killzone , but horizon far west out sold the entire killzone and resistance series combined. i'm pretty sure the 3rd resistance game barely sold over 1 million copies.

@Vermines i hate to tell you this but ai isn't going any where imo if its a useful tool that can help games develop faster i hope they use it.

reading these comments people forget the issues sony had with their developers and time crunches , meaning they were working 60-80 hour weeks to crank those games out faster. which was one of the things along with the covid era that has delayed games making it take longer to finish the game. but i'd rather more transparency from sony then saying they have a sequel problem. they have all these studios working on games we don't even know about , and the issue is people read too much online either true or not even true while sony is tight lipped about what is being developed. i would rather have a longer wait after the announcement then a short announcement to release time frame , at least we know what is coming though.

@Grumps859 who knows , maybe their concept of what a days gone sequel wouldn't have been good, at the end of the day these games cost more then ever to develop , but this is nothing new , we just have more access to news then what we had back then, but alot of content would be cut out , games would never make it past the concept stage or get cancelled we would just never find out about them or find out years later.

@Grumps859 i liked days gone but most people called it an average game , and normally games that are just average aren't going to get a 150 million dollar budget.
