i actually liked it more then skyrim myself so im 100% going to play this.

I could see ms going full cloud gaming / game pass system with no disc drive. The crowd that Sony and Nintendo aims for are different enough to both exist as is.

@breakneck i still feel like it will eventually end up sony buying them out right. there could be legal stuff they have to get through also in buying them.

as long as the ps6 doesn't release during a pandemic i'm sure it will be much more smoother then the ps5 era. but i feel like the best years for the ps5 will be between 2025-2027, i doubt you'll see a ps6 till 2028 at the earliest or 2029/2030 at the latest.

@MarkCernysLoveEgg pretty much , i think most people expected the ps6 the be b/c with ps4 and ps5. imagine if they did it earlier and went with amd with the ps3 we could have had ps3 b/c the whole time.

@Stino69 i said this before a few times , once more details come out , and they show more of the game with some game play , people are going to forget about most of this and its going to do really well. lets face it negative comments stick out more even if its the few that do it vs the positive comments. with naughty dogs track record , i have more then enough faith in them to produce a great game.

i'd take a full on remake of the first killzone game which was a ps2 game. same with resistance fall of man.

@DennisReynolds i'm excited for this , but there is still sony bends new ip , the rumored uncharted game , rumored until dawn sequel , san monica's game corey is working on , bluepoints new ip , a full reveal of wolverine with release date just to name a few things. as for naughty dog if this is more in line with a jak and daxter type action style i'll be more then happy.

@sonicmeerkat this is much more then a game studio purchase , they are mostly in it for their anime studio and they aren't piecing it all out , they want to sell the entire thing or nothing.

@Johnion the main issue is people are freaking out and they don’t even really know much other then the small amount we’ve seen so far. How do you even know who this game is supposed to appeal towards knowing little to nothing ?

Honestly once they show off the game , I think most people will change their minds , and I think the game will be great if it is more jak and daxter type of gameplay style

@Joogle83 which is why sony invested in support studios , nixxes is going to turn out being one of the best studios they've purchased and they'll probably never make anything original other then support other studios and crank out ps5 versions of ps3/ps4 games. keeping those studios main teams being able to work on something new. which is why i think you'll see horizon 3 ( if thats their next game) sooner then you think.

@Vovander to me first reveal trailers don't really need to show off game play as i'd rather see a longer thing showing off some of the game play then a 2-3 min trailer. like naughty dogs new game , its great to see them work on a new ip , and give them a state of the play reveal for the game play.

@Oram77 its funny because sony is doing this now , then people reverse complain and complain that sony isn't showing off the games they are working on , even though they don't want to show them off too early. so either they do a wolverine and show it off too early or another example they showed off the new ghosts game and its coming out next year.

@UltimateOtaku91 i mean its from former members of the witcher team so i would think its more like witcher then a souls game.

@FreasurePlanten honestly to me this feels like the closest thing we'll get to jak and daxter type of game from them. and yes i know we haven't seen much and we haven't see game play yet, but looking at the weapons she had with her, i'm expecting a rachet/jak type of combat

@Kingy you can't really expect game play in first reveal teaser trailers. they gotta build up to something. as for the naughty dog game im sure they would rather have a dedicated event to show off the game play.

honestly i wouldn't be too shocked if they use this as hey we still will release some games on your console (xbox) , as long as we can get elder scrolls 6 whenever that comes out. and maybe a few others.

at first i was against making the disc drive an add on but the more i thought about it , i actually changed my mind. what is one of the parts that breaks the most on the console. the disc drive. if you can detach the broken disc drive and they either send or you buy a replacement , its much better then buying a whole new console or having to send your console out to get repaired.

@nessisonett I don’t think it was cyber security they were upset about but the fact that it was swept under the rug and treated like nothing , at least Sony acknowledged it.

i feel like its going to happen , and its going to happen soon. what does this mean for fromsoftware , i guess we'll find out. maybe they can revisit demon souls or lets say the word , bloodborne.

@TruePlayStationGamer yes and no , i do remember the last few years they've told people to not over expect though. so if they told people that in the past , and they are hyping it up this year , they have to have at least 1 or 2 pretty big announcements. i hope its something else other then the mafia or boarderlands 4 trailer, which every one knows about already.

it depends what they consider as big? and is it games already announced like boarderlands 4 or mafia ? or is it unannounced games.

@Simu001 well that one has a reason they showed off the remake and people hated it , and surprisingly they actually listened and ditched that remake and started from ground up.

how long ago was the splinter cell remake announced and we haven't seen a single thing about it? i eventually want to check out the starwars game if they can get it fixed up , but mostly the only thing i really care about from them is ac.

i'm not a huge fan of Tencent so i hope it doesn't happen. i mean in a perfect world i'd love to see sony step in, but can they handle a studio of this size? i'm probably one the bigger fans of the ac series on here , so i just want to see the series in good hands.

a new wolverine trailer would be nice , and maybe a surprise sony studio reveal.

even older games spiderman 1 remaster , horizon zero dawn remaster and last of us as well all play amazing and look amazing on the pro, i know people hate "remasters" / ps5 versions of the game , but give me a 10$ upgrade of days gone and give it a ps5 pro patch and i'll be all over that 100%.

i think the title is just mis-worded , i think what he means the console wars would pretty much be over with , even though there has never really been a true console war in a while. that instead of the consoles going head to head the true competition will be between the content in the games developers.

if you don't want to play this because its fps , then its ur loss. i am super excited for this. time to become indiana jones , lets gooo

@Coffeeglitch i doubt ms would be interested in the entire company and just the game studio which they aren't going to part with as they want to sell the entire thing.

@SuntannedDuck2 they proven in the past its just a name , under the sony banner they could just do demon souls or bloodborne, a successor to elden ring , a new ip all together. there doesn't need to be a dark souls 4 as the games aren't even really tied in with each other.

its not easy to start up a new team , but i'm sure there is plenty of opportunity for them. i wouldn't mind seeing sony hire some of these guys.

Hopefully enough people play sly for them to consider a new game. nixes should do a remake of jak and daxter

@Major_Player it’s more then video games though , even thought from software is part of it , that’s just a small part.

@zupertramp since you were the last comment on here , its more then just your comment, but honestly if people don't want to read certain articles about certain games or the ps5 pro. you could just ignore the articles and not click on them. there are a lot of articles on this site , and not all of them need to be of interest of you.

@Mirror_D_80s you know you can open the case up and replace the battery right , i've found a few videos on youtube that shows you how to do it. i'm pretty sure the warranty has been long over with for the vita.

the game still looks good on the pro and still runs smoother.

honestly i'd take a legacy handheld that can play ps3 games that can also hook up to a tv like a steam deck.

@mariomaster96 there are always going to be rumors going around because people can't help from being curious but you won't see a ps6 maybe 4 to 5 years from now or more. i'm guessing between 2028 to 2030 release date.
