Re: Helldivers 2 Director Defends Elden Ring Difficulty: 'Always Cater to a Select Audience'

Just beat the final boss of the DLC and my god the rush I felt. No game ever comes close to evoking a physical reaction as fromsoft games can. I let out a cry of joy, felt my heart beating in my throat and was shaking till 5 minutes after the fact. Yesterday I was cursing the boss, but that feeling I had today (which I had many times before playing souls games) has never been rivalled in any game.

Miyazaki is a genius and I get that it's not for everyone, but my god is he able to evoke real emotions from me like no other game designer can.

Re: Ex-Sony Boss Shawn Layden Explains How to Make Games Faster, Cheaper

@get2sammyb You've actually have the answers in your comment. The people on the internet complaining about these things are actually the smallest group. The 30% that finish games.

I see a lot of this on the internet these days. It's called the loud minority, the people with the strongest opinions are usually the ones spending time on the internet discussing games. There is a huge part of the market that doesn't even read gaming news let alone some reddit.

We should be less focused on the loud mouths, especially if you're a journalist. The opinions people give on the internet never ever paint a complete picture.

Re: Elden Ring Hits a Staggering 25 Million Sales Ahead of Erdtree's Arrival

Man I love this game. Finished it over 20 times now and still discover new stuff every playthrough, but as @TheArt said it's the art direction that gets me. The mysterious vibes, the amazing views and landscapes, I just dont get bored with it. Definitely my favorite game Fromsoft has made and I've played them all. Heck it's shares first place for best game I've enjoyed with Breath of the Wild.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Sea of Thieves on PS5?

Actionhank89

Oh all those people voting on not planning on playing it are missing out. One of the best co-op games of all time. I've been playing since launch and usually never play a game long term. This one has been in rotation since day 1. It's a true gem.

Re: Publisher Take-Two Claims It's 'Not Seeing Pushback' From Players on $70 Price Tag

"This tells us, at the very least, that they must not be checking the Push Square comments section of related articles!" Well people who vocalize an opinion, are almost always people with strong views. There is a reason they call it the silent majority. A lot of people will feel its not worth their time to have an opinion about games being 10 bucks more than 2 years back.

Not surprised by this at all.

Re: Mini Review: Session: Skate Sim (PS5) - A Realism Focused Love Letter to Skating, For Better or Worse

Actionhank89

@tomassi well if you love skating and at least understand basic principles of how tricks are done. I would say yes, but maybe wait for sale. Im amazed by the insane amount of famous spots and the realism of the skateboarding. Not sure if its mentioned in the review, but thickness of wheels actually makes in impact on friction in grinds, same goes for boards, wider boards mean slower flips etc. Im 32 and have not skated in years, but still watch more skatevids then is probably healthy. I love seeing all the spots and being able to realistically do my own digital sessions on them. If that sounds like you, pick it up. Still on the fence, wait for sale!
