TGC 2019 is a fantastic game. It's plays like a dream and the course creator has a very active and talented community behind it meaning there are so many quality courses available - you never get bored. It just needs a little polish to the overall presentation, career mode and menus which I'm sure we will get this year. Very excited about this.
I will say the last few months have been really strong - but the problem is all the best games they've offered out I already own! Not their fault obviously, but wish they would select one of the 25 games I currently have on my wishlist
I really don't understand why anybody cares about PS games being on PC. You still get to play on your PS4 don't you? Like seriously, what's the big deal?
I've been a FIFA player for some years but have recently become disheartened with the series. Downloaded PES 2019 Lite and liked what I played. Didn't want to shell out for the full version when a new one comes out in a couple of months - so I'll gladly snaffle up this freebie. This is good news for me personally but I do get why it won't fly for others.
What I found with FIFA 19 was that when it first launched the gameplay was great. It was bit slower, more physical, more difficult to score. Then the "community" started moaning that they couldn't just use the quickest players to run past everyone and EA patched the game, turning it in to the same game it always was. Wish they'd have the strength in their convictions to make changes and stick to them and not revert back to type when Twitter kicks up a fuss.
"You play as Ryan Marks, a Phil Mitchell-esque character with military experience."
I knew something was missing from my gaming experiences, but I couldn't work out what is was until now. It appears that my dream has been to inhabit the body of Phil Mitchell.
Just wait till all episodes and purchase then. No doubt there will be a price reduction (always seems to be with episodic games) and then you can blast through all episodes over a week or so. So much more impactful that way without the long breaks in between.
I'd be curious to see how many of these release date leaks actually are accurate. They seem to be a pretty regular occurence; we always get told of a site accidentally revealing a release date. However, it's soon forgot about and when the release date is officially revealed I never think back to the leak to see if was true.
If a high number of these leaks were proven to be correct, maybe we'd have a better idea of whether we could rely on them in the future.
At first I was hoping for something similar to Mass Effect. But as the trailer went on it's became very clear that this is basically Fallout: Space Edition.
I have the season pass but haven't got round to playing any of the expansions die to RDR2. What are people's thoughts on the DLC? If it's more of the same of the base game, I'll be happy.
As you can replay missions, can you go back and re-attempt without dying and the bug will be resolved? If not I'm gonna wait until it's fixed before moving on. Real shame as I'm dying to play more
I'm not sure what a New Game + adds to Spiderman. Most of the time they are useful for making different decisions or for playing with a different build of character/skills but there are no choices to be made in the game and it's so generous with it's XP that I was able to unlock all attributes in the skill tree. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game but I can't see what a New Game + offers that just starting the campaign fresh wouldn't.
Love the level of detail they seem to have gone in to for this game. Some the previews blew me as they mentioned the little touches - things like mud reacting realistically as you move in it, blood sticking to your clothes as you carry a corpse, or light shining off a chocolate bar foil wrapper as you examine it in a store. Makes me think these won't be 200 throwaway species that all act the same way, but that they will be truly unique.
This game apparently has upwards of 100+ hrs of gameplay, so I can't begin to imagine how long it would take to complete if you have to explore to find content.
This would appeal to me massively about 10 years ago but my gaming time has reduced dramatically in the last couple of years, and with a baby on the way it's only going to get smaller. It means that seeing something like this is quite intimidating now - so I'll take all the hand holding I can!
With all the hype and publicity for Spiderman in the last few weeks, I'd pretty much forgot RDR 2 was on the horizon. And it's close; I mean it's out NEXT month! I've been waiting for this game for 8 years!
My favourite bit out of all if this is when V leaves her apartment. The interior environment looks so detailed and immersive. Then she steps out in to the plaza/square and it multiplies by 100. I could spend hours just wandering around the environment and game world without even doing a mission - very similar to when I first entered Novigrad in TW3.
@RogerRoger oh dear, I literally only just understood that ending just now! I assumed Chris stopped himself and the kid next door was just watching him. I feel like an idiot!
@naruball not sure there is, but what I have done is created a wishlist on the website. Means that whenever there is a sale on I can just view my wishlist and see which ones are discounted. Saves me a lot of time of scrolling through the sales, as well as helping to stop me making impulse purchases and only buying games I actually want
I used to buy Telltale games at the start and play each episode as and when it came out. Since Game of Thrones though I've changed and only purchase them once the full series is out. I think it adds so much more to be able to play each episode shortly after each other. I had a great weekend with Batman: The Enemy Within recently - with everything being fresh in the mind it just meant it had much more of an impact on me.
@RogerRoger that's a fair point, I hadn't thought of it like that. It just happens that my wife and I are big fans of DC, Marvel and Star Wars so we seem to buy a couple a year! Hey, I enjoy them; I'm just surprised we haven't hit a saturation point yet.
Always enjoyed the Lego games. A fun easy game to play together with my wife. Although I'm surprised they're still being released at such a high frequency - can't say I've seen them as high sellers
@Th3solution you still haven't played TW3? Man, in some ways I feel sorry for you - best game of this generation. On the other hand, I'm really envious that you get to experience it for the 1st time. Wish I could do that again

@Dan_ozzzy189 yeah HB Studios still involved, 2K are just the publishers. It gets missed quite a lot but they published TGC2019 as well.

Re: The Last of Us 2 Delayed Again Due to Coronavirus Epidemic
@RenanKJ yeah, because of course game developers should make plans just in case of a global pandemic!
They could launch on time I'm sure, but think of the challenges of organising a global launch in the current climate.
