A hundred times Ape Escape! The trilogy is why I largely still own a PS2. Ape Escape Move tugged on my heart strings but being on rails was a real letdown.

It says Unreal but the visuals look very Unity. Another uninspired souls-like on Steam, might as well make a pixelated Metroidvania while they're at it.

Sounds surprisingly neat overall, but not for the $40 it's retailing for in the US 😕

Too bad but the continued support from the devs is very much appreciated. Although at this point I'm more excited to see where the future of this franchise goes.

Who expected this to end with a giant ghost boss battle followed by a Sephiroth boss battle?! What a surprise, and here I thought the highway robot was the last boss.

I wonder if the English VAs were told to simply read a script with no context, their delivery is baffling at times. Reminds of Sonic Adventure's voice acting, maybe a touch better 😉

Imagine if Bethesda turns everything around like No Man's Sky. I mean, highly unlikely, but could you imagine? Years of support and patching in new features.

My younger siblings are a testament to kids growing up with Fortnite, mobile games and the PS3/360 era. I'm happy with where I landed. With a SNES controller in my baby-hands 😆

I honestly hope they leave RE4 alone. Following the trend of these remakes they'd change Leon and the other voice actors, change his dialogue (probably less one-liners), and potentially remove Mercenaries or other side-games.

@ShogunRok The demo certainly pleased in this regard, but does the full game seem to retain a majority of the original enemies? There are some wacky designs I would love to see return in this.

Definitely on the buy list! Unfortunately falls too close to FF7 and RE3 so I gotta put it on hold 😕

@LiamCroft When you say Nemesis mainly appears for boss and chase sequences, are the chase sequences more like the encounter in the demo or just running down corridors?

Perhaps the logic is make an obscure claim that seems somewhat reasonable and spread it as a rumor/leak so news sites that don't fact check anything also spread the word and then it's assumed to be factual. At that point, if it gets mass attention online maybe higher-ups take notice and make a move to kickstart the series again.
Or perhaps it's just lying for the sake of discussing What If scenarios.

Turns out the whole FF7 plot takes place inside Midgar! Who could have seen this coming? 😆 But real talk, very interested to see how the ending of this will feel like a complete package, no doubt these new 'plot elements' will aid this as well.

There are two things that will make me a Day One buyer. More backwards compatibility aside from just PS4 (which is looking like a big no, especially with PS Now), and some amazing launch exclusives, such as Demons Souls Remake.

This has to be one of the most open ended and both company and community-supportive creation tools available. Really cool they are taking it seriously.

@Deadlyblack For sure, it's just there was that one 'safe' spot which became unsafe later. But the other save rooms were still safe.

It sounds like this should have been a single-player minigame where you're always the Mastermind and foil increasingly smart AI survivors. Oh well, the best part of this mode is it's a bonus to a stellar campaign mode.

I am a big Way of the Samurai fan and I hope this game hints that there could be more in the pipeline for this series. But sadly the design and camera perspective in this are a hard pass for me 😔

@Athrum Yes, they both are. Similar logic to Savage Deviljho, though I felt Jho took quite the chill pill compared to older games.

I truly wish Kakarot wasn't so abysmal. Beautiful character models can't make up for a boring world, useless dialogue, and Goku's uh...'questionable' means of fishing.

PS5 has two things that will get me to be a buyer. Amazing exclusive launch titles that won't go to PC, or full backwards compatibility. I love my old PS2 and PS3 systems but I'd be fine cutting down on that shelf space they take up too.

@Rob_230 Couldn't agree more, as someone else who has followed this series between consoles, I can agree KH3 was too underwhelming.

This is unfortunate, I was most concerned with how they'd handle combat and the open map, seeing as we got a previous lacklustre One Piece game with the same issues.

@Flaming_Kaiser I think it did fine as far as sales, I assume it was the closing of Visceral. But either way I get it, 1 and 2 are legendary and haven't aged a day.
