Re: PSVR2: How to Reduce Motion Sickness

DaveHero75

I had the PSVR original headset for a about a year or so. Had fun in small doses as I suffered immense motion sickness after playing around 30 minutes at a time. I'm not getting this one due to the fact that it's not worth me getting ill over. The gameplay footage that has been shown over the last few months is amazing though. I hope this is a huge success, gamer wise, I really do. Shame I cannot marvel in all it's wonder, but hey it is what it is, and I'm okay with that. Anyway without me going on about motion sickness and all, I hope all of you who can play this PSVR2 without any motion and all, enjoy the upcoming and present games for this.

Re: It Only Did Everything, Follow Up to Vita Means Life, Will Chronicle the Glory Days of the PS3

DaveHero75

Just backed this myself, as I also backed the Vita one he did a while back which is a great book btw. Top bloke who really does make great informative gaming books, so looking forward to this PS3 one. I have so many fond online gaming memories of PS3 games, like I took part in a Motorstorm apocalypse online gaming group tournament back in the day, that was so much fun. Ah the good old days of the PS3, great console!

Re: Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose (PS5) - Creative DLC Is a Short But Sweet Send-Off

DaveHero75

@Rob_230 Yeah I'm well chuffed that a third person mode is coming to the game as I held off buying it, knowing a gold edition with dlc was about to come along, sooner or later. I'm well happy it's having the third person mode, being a fan of the early days of Resident Evil ie 0, 1, 2 and 3 etc... I'm so looking forward to playing Village, this way. Capcom done good by us all, with this DLC/update, I reckon!

Re: Nearly 80% of All PS5, PS4 Games Are Bought Digitally

DaveHero75

@playstation1995 My thoughts exactly dude, I love own physical games, as you have the satisfaction of seeing them on a shelf, choosing what to play from them, plus the box art is brilliant on a lot of games these days, the digital future will have lost that great imagery, if we do go full on digital only games in future consoles to come. Shame really, because I love a collection you can see, and I love box art in games!

Re: FIFA 23's Ultimate Edition Makes History with Female Footballer Sam Kerr on Cover

DaveHero75

@Victor_Meldrew I agree, you don't have to be some super strong/quickest person etc... to be acknowledged as a good player, but it does help that you have a certain skill set. But my last few comments stand, women can do anything as good as a man can, especially in the world of sports. Anyway I won't rant on any longer in here, I made the point I wanted to get across today, end of rant, for me anyhow.

Re: FIFA 23's Ultimate Edition Makes History with Female Footballer Sam Kerr on Cover

DaveHero75

@thefourfoldroot1 You might as well say that about women's tennis dude. Tennis has a huge popularity in it's own right, especially mixed and women's tennis on a whole. Steffi Graf won 22 Major singles titles in all. That just shows how great a player she really was, and imo any woman in a game of football could be just as legendary today, going forward. Yeah the female side of football might not be as big as the men's side, but it's getting their, getting more popular every year, and that's great that it is, more variety in sports. Sports are a game of two sides ie men and women on a whole, and that's how it should be.

Re: FIFA 23's Ultimate Edition Makes History with Female Footballer Sam Kerr on Cover

DaveHero75

@Kienda (And it’s great that my daughter can watch football with me with female role models.) You hit the nail right on the head with that comment. Everyone needs role models, whatever the game they play. And men and women should be equal a role model just as our uncles and aunties, brothers and sisters or mothers and father's are/were to us growing up. Role models is a important faction in sports as it it is many things today.

Re: Poll: Will You Be Playing No Man's Sky NEXT?

DaveHero75

I've had No Man's Sky for a while now, but haven't got round to trying/playing it. But I must say, the devs really are making this game into something special, space exploration wise etc... They literally are putting their heart into this game, updates wise, as I regularly read this site, I don't always comment, but it is my go-to place for gaming news and updates. Anyway, I'm certainly going to give this game a go, especially now it's having the multiplayer feature to it. I love space games ie Star Trek Online, Bridge Crew etc... so I will look forward to playing this online, for sure.

Re: Guide: The Best PS4 Controllers and Accessories

DaveHero75

I have the Venom Official Sony PlayStation Licensed 8-Button Arcade Stick. My first arcade stick, into gaming PS3/PS4 wise, and must say, it's pretty awesome for fighting games and retro side scroller/beat em' up's etc... Bought mine 3 years ago and still a very enjoyable gaming session every time. Worth 70 quid of anyone's money, I'm happy to own one, being a fan of the fighting/beat em up genre.
