none of this will change anything MS could buy GameStop it won't affect anything. Playstation is on fire MS is not. who walks into a store that much with how the world is now anyways.

@Medic_Alert the whole point in spending 7.5 Billion is to make money back Bethesda games like Elder & Fallout made the money so the other studios could keep making games.

all I see is the Xbox Division spending money with no profit coming back I get it will have a little bump on game pass but that model makes no profit as well. not sure how long the Xbox Division will keep wasting money with no big return it is a black hole.

the next 3/4 years will be very interesting for the Xbox Division.

I really don't believe games that struggled to make money MP & will now make even less money being tied to one system will be what MS does. if they want to get even half that 7.5 billion back in the next few years.

they have to make good games for a start so let's see what Bethesda has for us in the next 3 years.

you can see how much they respect Rockstar Games & look to them for inspiration.

@ThroughTheIris56 this is a separate entity from Sony, not a console thing it is a game makers thing you will have to ask the developers why they need it I guess.

@pip_muzz why would he lie he is the lead system architect. like I say if you watch how they talk about why the PS4 makes that noise & why the PS5 won't you would get a good understanding of it.

@pip_muzz you need to watch Cernys talk on it. the PS4 way of cooling is the complete opposite of the PS5s way. they have made sure the most taxing game will never be an issue.

put it this way Elder Scrolls & Fallout are games that need to stay MP because they prop up the other games that do not make much money if MS makes them just Xbox Bethesda will slow output in a few years.
let's not forget they have to make good games first.

thought we got a big collection of games PS5 ready on launch day? they showed it in the last video not expecting more on top of that for a few months.

MS has shown nobody nothing but a terrible looking Halo game!! you can pretend the words mean something all you want I know better & have lived with MS in games since the beginning. they love to make things sound amazing the end product never is.

I think this is way overhyped when you look at all the games performances this gen.

I want a new game play-through with a fresh Trophies list if possible for most games. not bothered about old saves for another system.

@kingv84 if you believe that you are very naive. this game is about making money not giving it away because the competition beat you so bad you are at a loss of what to do.
Xbox Division can not carry on leaking money no one will support that long term baffling that you think that is how it works.

let us not forget Fallout Elder Scrolls tech is outdated! so a new engine will cost millions more to develop if that crusty engine is used again I'm done.
