@naruball it’s a personal choice and I get a sense of achievement when I pop a plat, I have no idea why some games don’t have a platinum but there’s loads of cheap 15min platinum games out there. I personally won’t touch them as I like a challenge. I might pick little nightmares up on my series X

Pathless is great but it takes two is amazing. Would of got little nightmares but it doesn’t have a platinum so I’ll never play it

@KidBoruto I finished it last night, I was playing on hard in preparation for my master run. The later bosses are very hard my advice is learn to time your parry and you’ll be fine. As soon as I started playing it like sekiro it got much more manageable also purchase the Rot hammer upgrade that hits a tonne after a successful parry

Hoping to finish it takes two with my son absolutely loving it! Possibly finish Iki island later as well. Does anyone know if cyberpunk is stable now on ps5? Looking to finally start it seeing as the native version is probably some way off

I can’t believe you don’t get the PS4 version free if you purchase the standard PS5 version. You only get both with the digital deluxe….. that’s shocking. Sony fooling us with a showcase then dropping this on us

@TeapotBuddha no worries. I think my problem is old age and preordering games that I don’t end up playing for months possibly years later. For the past 2 years I won’t buy a game till I’m ready to play it and it has saved me a fortune (I still haven’t played red dead redemption 2 and have had it from launch)
It works the other way too seeing as I had no interest in returnal until it came out and it became one of my most loved games

@TeapotBuddha when someone says they’re not having a go they are. My viewpoint is odd is very condescending, you don’t know where I work or what I’ve had to do to work during the pandemic as I don’t know what you’ve done. The simple fact is the 10 month delay and numerous gameplay videos have dampened me interest in Deathloop, everyone knows why nearly every game has been delayed for the last 2 years

Deathloop was a game I was really excited to play but the numerous delays has killed all my interest now.

@StonyKL I would recommend a LG C series Oled. I bought a C9 last year before I got my PS5 for the HDMI 2.1 features and it’s a cracking TV for gaming

I bought a 2TB external that I keep all my PS4 games on so I can wait. This is the first of I hope many compatible drives so the more that come out the cheaper they will become. It’s not like Sony have partnered with seagate so you have to buy their drives only.

I’m here for whatever they decide to make

Been busy this weekend but still managed to play a couple of hours of the pathless which is excellent

I think unlocking frame rate on any PS4 game should come as a free patch but if they are making native PS5 ports that take a lot of work I don’t mind paying a small fee if the benefits are worth it.

I don’t have great memories of playing shadow but I think it’s because I played all 3 back to back and was really sick of Lara Croft by the end of it. It’s coming up to 3 years since I played it so it might be worth a revisit on its own.

Today I shall be playing a plagues tale on PS5 absolutely loving it, just starting chapter 7

@Link41x I’ve tried playing golden abyss many times but for some reason on the opening tutorial I literally can’t get out of the journal the close touch pad button just doesn’t work. I own it physically and digitally and both won’t work, have you ever experienced anything similar?

@get2sammyb glad I’ve just managed to bag myself a PS5 digital to go with my disc version. I can see Christmas being a nightmare for some parents trying to get one

It’s been over 2 weeks since I earned a platinum and I’m starting to get withdrawal symptoms so I’ll be finishing Bugsnax then possibly start the pathless or a plagues tale

There’s a Q&A video on YouTube explaining a lot about the upgrade. I for one will be upgrading as I love the game and want to support Kojima productions.

I absolutely loved death stranding and spent 110 hours platinuming it, I wonder if we will get another free platinum if we transfer our saves? I will be getting this for sure as it will of been close to 2 years since I’ve played it. Have they said how the upgrade process works yet because all that comes up in the store is the £44/49 versions?

Deathloop was my most anticipated game before PS5 came out but the 2 delays have destroyed most of my interest in it now. Hoping to see little devil inside with a date so Will watch it but won’t be expecting much

I’ve always thought of Dead Space & Dead Space 2 like Alien and Aliens both amazing just slightly different genres. I’ll be happy if this report is true and I’ll be looking forward to boarding the USG Ishimura

@AdamNovice I’ll definitely be supporting Sucker punch for this upgrade and £30 isn’t a bad price for the expansion but I wasn’t planning replaying Ghost till next year so I’ll just upgrade when I’m ready to replay unless it drops in a Christmas sale 😉

Had my eye on greedfall for a while and if we do get a free PS5 upgrade I may finally have a go. Probably not for a while seeing as the Euro’s are on then the Lions tour of South Africa so will probably be drunk every weekend till August watching sports 🥴

At least 2&3 are much better optimised for controllers, original crysis remastered is awful to control on PS4

I just don’t understand what the problem is, I’ve watched the state of play a few times and in motion she looks absolutely fine. Is this a promotional shot or has some moron went frame by frame on the video to get the worst shot of her? I’m sure we all have partners that when you take a picture of them insist on seeing it first to get their best side.
