This is hardly a remake. It looks like it's the same game! They may be rebuilding it in a new engine, but it's just The Last of Us take 3. I can't know how much work this took, but I can say it would definitely have been better spent on something new.
Definitely would like to see this come over. The games aren't exactly cheap to pick up at the moment so an all-in-one compilation at $120 would be a huge deal.
This is so batshit... using one of the greatest songs of all time to market this weird ass terrible looking game has somehow succeeded in endearing me to it. This is a game out of time, a new classic in the genre of utterly bizarre Japanese games. I'm going to kill Chaos.
@KidBoruto Right, like people have been saying it was trash and awful but in the same post they also say that there were a handful of things they were interested in. In a small 20 minute presentation like this, that handful is like, 40% or 50% of the whole thing. Of course you won't like every game shown; that goes for any event. So while I think that there probably could have been a better selection prepared for the showcase, it was okay at worst and potentially even great at best if you're someone who's super invested in niche series like KoF or Star Ocean or you just really vibed with one of the new games shown.
I was happy to see Death's Door coming to PS5. The new update to Bugsnax is cool, especially for being free. Might get me to pick the game up. A new Star Ocean game is neat, it's definitely more of a niche series and the trailer seemed a little lacking in polish but I'm interested in seeing more. And Little Devil Inside looks fantastic.
Other than that I don't think anything that was shown was better than mediocre looking. There was a long ass trailer for some band I've never heard of that was selling a video game about themselves. Came off as more annoying than anything else. Something like that REALLY needs actual gameplay if you genuinely want people to care.
I think it was good. Everything shown ranged from meh to interesting or cool, nothing looked like ass, and the Deathloop gameplay pretty much sold me on that game.
Overall I was pretty disappointed with the show. Guardians of the Galaxy could be really cool but when I was watching the trailer on my phone it looked super janky, though that could have just been the stream lagging. Stranger in Paradise looks goofy as hell and I'm kind of excited to check out the demo here soon. Babylon's Fall might have been worthwhile but I found myself tuning that out because I was listening to the show at that point rather than watching it and I'll probably check out the trailers for that on their own later. Other than those things nothing else really interested me at all. I was really hoping to see more of Triangle Strategy, Dragon Quest, or FF 16.

Re: What Happened to Little Devil Inside?
I really loved the vibe of this game. Hope the team can finish it.
Re: This Is How Much It Costs Sony for You to Complain About the PS Plus Games
I would guess that the extra $1 mil paid by Sony for Ark is the "ownership tax" since the game will never become inaccessible to PS Plus players
Re: Tactics Ogre: Reborn PS Store Listing Leaks Release Date, New Details, More
I picked up Let Us Cling Together when I got my PSP a few years back, one of the best decisions I've ever made
Re: UK Sales Charts: Horizon Forbidden West Soars Back to the Top
Damn I'll bet Square is happy and probably a little surprised about Live a Live hitting #6

Actually pretty well done

Please Square... please....
Re: Talking Point: What PS1, PS2, and PSP Games Do You Want on PS Plus Premium?

Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 2
10/15, this seemed easier than the last one for me
Re: Talking Point: What PS5, PS4 Live Service Games from Sony Do You Want?
It's obvious that they're already working on something like this, but a really high quality PlayStation FPS to rival Halo Infinite would be cool.

Re: PS5's Abandoned App Pre-Loads This Week, So Here's a Man with an Eyepatch

Re: Talking Point: Did You Enjoy the Square Enix Presents Showcase?
@Icey664 I feel the same way, but honestly the trailer was SO goofy and dumb to the point where I kind of loved it. I was laughing my ass off.
