@RonnieL Through not paying for mp or rereleases you save money. Also, you don't need a monitor if you have TV. Also, you might be paying more, but you are getting access to an infinite amount of content, mods that can be better than games(and usually are), productivity etc. Thinking that a console is better value is extremely shortsighted

@naruball I haven't watched her sex tape so I can't comment

Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity

@Michael2008ish Weak response. I am obviously correct that it's my game and I can do whatever I want with it.

@RonnieL Look at what you are getting though. INFINITE CONTENT. Screw haptics if it means that I can play Alien Isolation in VR. I can watch all movies and tv shows in vr. I can play pretty much 90%+ of all native vr games at the highest resolution and frame rate. I am only recommending the Quest because of the price. There are others like the Pico and index, but they have more cons

Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity

Heavy_Artilery

@thefourfoldroot1 That's a problem on your end

@Jaz007 You can make the quest 2 as comfortable as you want it to be with the help of accessories. The price will still be less than the PSVR2. Also, how can you say that the few games released on PS5 are worth it over the infinite amount of content on PC? You can't. You are being ignorant on purpose

@RonnieL You don't learn anything by repeating the same quest over and over again. In that game you grind to level up which is what artificially makes you stronger. If you haven't played the game don't talk about it.

My advice is actually smart. You are buying a device that will get less than 1% of vr content and when the PSVR3 comes out you are going to have to pay again for most of the games.

Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity

Heavy_Artilery

@RonnieL Cheating? Have you played AC Origins? The grind in that game is just that. Artificially get better by doing more of the same. You are completely off on this take.

They are not. We are having a discussion. They think that they need to buy quest games when that is just false. I am providing you with information to make a better purchase

Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity

Heavy_Artilery

@thefourfoldroot1 Well everyone will have a different setup. If you have a wifi6 router positioned in the perfect spot you can get 9/10 of the visual fidelity while playing wireless which imo is more important that having the best visuals. Especially considering how VR devices have screen door effect and other visual shortcomings.

@RonnieL Your argument about 'why isn't everyone else supporting the PS5' is clueless as I already explained. It's a limited machine made with the intent of taking your money not upfront, but down the line.

On PC you can bypass anti consumer practices. AC Origins wants you to buy xp boosts? lol just download cheat engine template and add one yourself in 2 minutes. If you have an example of anti consumer practices on pc that can't be bypassed I would love to read them.

Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity

Heavy_Artilery

@thefourfoldroot1 I don't play quest games. Only PC. Not only are you getting the best visuals, but you have access to mods. And oh my god the mods are amazing. Best thing about PC gaming after the content available obviously

@__jamiie Just connect it to a PC and build your library there. You won't ever be asked to purchase something twice

Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity

Heavy_Artilery

@RonnieL I didn't single out any console manufacturer, there is no 1 PC company and you can enjoy a quest without a FB account and without buying a single meta store game. The fact that you attacked me over things I didn't write or aren't true is a clear indication that you know that you are losing this argument.

Sony doomed the PSVR2 and might regret it in the future when VR get's smaller cheaper and more mainstream

Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity

Heavy_Artilery

@zupertramp Plenty of small or old games. Also, movies and videos. Again: You can upgrade your device whenever you want

@RonnieL The whole gimmick of a console is that it's cheap. That's why they all do anti consumer ***** like paying for mp, rereleases and limited bc. PC is the hub for 99% of all software ever made so every device should support it. Sony not doing that is just leaving money and market share on the table

Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity

Heavy_Artilery

@RonnieL Thankfully Sony are not as clueless as you. They ported their games to PC and it's only a matter of time before their VR games follow. Didn't they predict millions lol? That's never happening. And when Quest 3 launches PSVR2 is basically done

@Michael2008ish You can still experience an infinite amount of VR content on PC without a high end rig. That's why it's an infinitely better investment. And you can always just upgrade hardware in the future

Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity

Heavy_Artilery

@Michael2008ish They are making the cheapest and according to the rumors one of the lightest headsets with the Quest 3. Just hook it up to a PC and you can do literally everything with it. There is no alternatives to the quest series.

@RonnieL That doesn't mean anything. The slow sales are telling. Not making the device compatible with PC doomed it.
