Sony doesn't need to take a long hard look at itself, the ENTIRE entertainment industry does. It's not just Concord, it's Rings of Power, Acolyte, The Borderlands movie, The Marvels, I could go on and on. The entertainment industry is making products for investors, not customers. They don't have a target audience, they are not making products for demographic that wants to buy their games, watch their movies, stream their shows. They have hired talentless and selfish people to write, create, and produce this content. It's across the board because the entire industry has bought in to a bunch of nonsense drummed up on social media by people who don't even care about what they are making.
No thanks, the fact you need a heat sink on the SSD and Sony is recommending you not even install it means I'm not going to risk it.
It's not worth damaging your PS5 just incase you might want to play Knack so you need it downloaded.
Why do you need 20 games on your console anyway?
Some kind of FOMO?
This is a bit over the top fanboish considering only 1 game properly supports the dualsense to its potential. And to be perfectly honest, the support being used now at launch is the most support it's going to get. When 1st party titles like Spider-Man and Sackboy are not properly using the features, how can you expect 3rd parties to as the system ages? CoD using it was probably implementated by Sony via contract. I wouldn't expect it on the next one. But this is pretty common, look at the touchpad for the DS4. It was used when the console launched, then it was just a big button on the controller until Ghosts of Tsushima. Same with the "HD" ruble in the triggers of the X1 controller. Used at launch, then abandoned. Do I think it's a good controller and was I impressed with it? Yes But I also fell it's just a waste because it won't get supported.
Could you imagine of the darling game and studio of the fans was hammered by critics? Yeah, I'd want to avoid that backlash too. How do the reviews read? Forget the little number at the end of the review, how does it read? Plenty of reviews I've read then saw the score and said to myself "that score does NOT reflect that review." By reading a few of the Cyberpunk reviews myself, none of them read like it's a 9 out of 10 game. They all read like it's good, but in no way lives up too the hype, over stuffed, lost in its own plot, and filled with bugs.
I get it, that Fortnite is this huge thing, but I don't care about it. Yet everytime I turn on my PS5 I get Fortnite advertisements. It's the first thing I see via the "Explore" tab or app.
I can't choose what I do or don't want to see from that thing, let alone disable it all together. It's just annoying AF to have what is essentially the Fortnite advertisement app the first thing I see when I turn the PS5 on.
Saw a guy who took the panel off, looked into the fan and saw a sticker hanging out. He pulled the sticker out and the coil noise stopped. Now I can't say if that voids any warranty, not sure what the sticker is for, but he had to pull the fan out to get to it.
Damn, looks like mine does it too. But I didn't notice until I muted the sound, walked up to the console and put my ear close to it. It's almost like if you get real close to a fan, it makes noise.
Hell, the way you put the console in rest/power off was a hidden feature for the first day I had it. Who else held the PS button trying to power it down?
Today the official first looks for XSX were posted to all the trades. Xbox Series X hands-on gameplay, load times, Backwards Compatibility and Quick Resume all on display in official releases. Meanwhile, here's some unofficial pics of a DualSense (BS, it's a DualShock 5 in my book) controller someone took apart.
@TheNewButler
True, I have an M2 SSD in my PC and manage it often.
I know that in reality I can only play so many games at a time, but I still find myself in an itch to play something not on my SSD.
I'd like to get 500 GB more of storage for the PS5, but it all depends on the cost. I don't think these new SSDs for PS5 will be cheap. The 970 EVO in my PC cost $170.
"The SSD technology will make games smaller." In the future I guess? My hope is that the M2 SSD for internal expansion isn't a proprietary Sony product. That I can get any brand of "compatible" M2 I want. But given Sony's history on trying to make everything proprietary, like Vita memory, I doubt it. Especially after Mark Cerny said "Don't go and buy and any SSDs, we will let you know in the future."
Congratulations to all the ratPRICKS that managed to snag a PS5. I tried like hell, but wasn't able too. Will I buy one? I don't see Sony having anymore pre-orders because of how close we are to launch and the manufacturing restrictions. I'm not going to stand outside a store for a whole day hoping I can get one. I see any of the online launch day sales going any smoother than these pre-orders went. Will I still care by spring of next year when they can actually manufacture enough to keep them in stock? I dunno, my hype is already faded and I have already been spending more time on PC. Guess I'll have to wait and see.
I like this decision, use whatever tactic you want when you want. Which is what the samurai did historically. Not alone obviously, but open combat and night time raids were ways the samurai conducted warfare. Gives some historic credibility to the game.

Re: Poll: Was Summer Game Fest Live a Show to Remember?
All I remember is TLoU remake because it didn't seem like it made a lot of sense.
Re: Poll: Did You Buy Kena: Bridge of Spirits?
I'm in that 4%
There's enough on my plate already, and it doesn't seem like anything I would prioritize over anything else to play.
