Definitely would have purchased this game on day one, so I'm happy I won't have to pay extra for it. Any news on if there's co-op or PSVR compatibility?
@BowTiesAreCool
They're going for a different audience to be fair. Easiest way to explain it is StarFighter Assault is an arcade game, and SW Squadrons is a simulator, or as close as you can get to one on console. Also worth mentioning this game is designed very much with VR headsets in mind.
@carlos82 I reckon it's still selling pretty well. Every time they create free content, it results in news articles like this, which generates interest, thus new sales. The cycle goes on and on.
I had the Playstation mouse, had a third party one as well which wasn't as good, unsurprisingly. Got plenty of use out of it. C&C Red Alert and X-COM were both very popular in our house. Worked well on a few other strategy games as well. Still waiting for Sony to bring out another one, lol. Maybe one day.
Well, regardless of who donated the money, I think it's absolutely brilliant that Special Effect have received such a large amount of money, especially when it sounds like they really needed it. No doubt they will help a lot of people with what's been donated.
The costumes shown above could have been a lot more imaginative but, oh well! Plenty of others to choose from.
@nessisonett I remember reading that there's a shotgun exploit. If you fire with it then change weapon and change back, it's far quicker than reloading the shotgun normally. No idea which mission you're on but might be worth trying it out? Apparently using that makes the final mission a lot less painful.
@AdamNovice @themcnoisy If you're fairly good at getting crowns, there's a relatively reliable way to cheese the trophy. If you quit out before the game 'eliminates' you, it doesn't count as a loss and the current win streak remains unbroken. That's why so many have the trophy. There's a thread on psnprofiles about it.
I think it's fantastic, it's such an easy game to jump into and it's a great laugh. I think if the devs are smart this could be bigger than Rocket League. Really looking forward to seeing what they add to it in the coming months.
@Ricowtje
Sony were actually paying for exclusivity on games on the original PlayStation before Xbox even existed. A well known example is the original Tomb Raider franchise. They prevented the Sega Saturn or the Nintendo 64 from having any Tomb Raider game released for those platforms until 2000.
@Flaming_Kaiser I really enjoyed the story for KZ2 & KZ3. KZ on Vita was pretty good too. I'm not sure what happened with the story on Shadow Fall but I found it so boring I just gave up. A real shame.
I played a few games of it just now, good fun. Almost won a game, almost.. I got through to the final 7. Maybe next time. A quick warning that the servers are really struggling at the moment.
If I had to choose something that's been out a good few months, I think I would go with Blazing Chrome and Death Stranding. That would be a great month for me.
Really enjoyed this game, it felt quite inspired by Firefly. The crew you can hire are a thousand times more interesting / entertaining than anything in Fallout. Will see how the dlc reviews, hopefully it's still great.
I think Barret might be my favourite, he's brilliant in the remake. Jessie is pretty cool as well. I think maybe Sephiroth was introduced too early but we will see what the sequel brings.
Looks like a game perfectly suited to the Vita, I would definitely get it if it was on that. Might get it for console though if it's that great, sounds interesting.
Good luck to him, I didn't play much of New Vegas but I read a few times that the writing is excellent. Hopefully this new Horizon game is as well, looking forward to playing it.
I adore Final Fantasy 9, what a truly wonderful game it is. I've not tried the PS4 version, will have to give it a go.
There's so much to love about this game but the comedy and jokes in it just land so well. And I really felt the emotions of the characters, the writing, music and directing was superb.
@Olmaz I'm not convinced by your argument but not to worry. We can't all agree on everything Seeing as you've dominated the comments here, any thoughts on the game itself?
@Olmaz
I honestly don't see the problem here, sadly a lot of society is sexist, racist, discriminates, etc. That is the unfortunate truth and the reality we live in. We all have unconscious bias. If a developer or publisher chooses to make positive efforts to be more inclusive and look to challenge people's preconceptions then I support them in that endeavour. If you dislike it, then you don't have to buy or play the game, there are plenty of other games to choose from.
@LiamCroft
Ok, thanks! I misread the wording of the final paragraph about the release date.
This developer has some really interesting ideas, and I like the art style. Great to see a next generation game that thinks of completely new types of game play, I hope they pull it off. And it's always nice to see more diversity and reprensentation in games. I hope this turns out to be one well worth checking out, sounds like it has a lot of potential. Being a launch game, I can see a lot of people playing this one.
@JapaneseSonic Yes, I agree with you. But for all those asking what hate speech is, whether they're being disingenuous or not, the definition is right there for them.
For those asking, hate speech is defined by Cambridge Dictionary as "public speech that expresses hate or encourages violence towards a person or group based on something such as race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation".
Sounds great, I just hope it's a sequel and not a prequel. And as amazing as TLOU2 was, I'm hoping for something a little more light hearted here, less.. depressing.
@KratosMD
It's very good, but also probably the toughest of the HouseMarque games. I got the Alienation & Resogun platinum trophies, almost got the Super Stardust HD plat. Nex Machina? No way, almost got crushed by the final boss and I'm not even sure that's the true final boss! Still great fun though.

Very nice, but is this still the case if you have the PS4 disc version? Or does it need to be a digital copy?
Re: Fans Think Demon's Souls PS5 Is Close to Release
This could easily make the difference between me buying a PS5 at launch or waiting a few weeks.

Only negative is the lack of online multiplayer.
