Re: Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire - Technical Problems Derail an Otherwise Superb Sequel

@mini_piekarnik You're absolutely right mate, they did get worse in the first game. Apparently, the longer you played the more data the game stored in cache and so it had more to load or something along those lines. A simple issue VS Evil told me but one that wasn't addressed before launch. By the end, running around the city going in and out of doors/areas would take forever with very little gameplay in between. Shocking.

This review has absolutely infuriated me. Versus Evil have a lot to answer for pulling this nonsense again.
I was unfortunate enough to buy the first game on the Switch and it was an utter, utter mess. After months of waiting and following their page for updates the major issues were never fixed.
I had numerous dealings with Obsidian (not their fault, although maybe they could make sure their masterpiece was in competent hands) and VS Evil.
Eventually, after a bit of a fight, I managed to get a refund for the game from Nintendo.
VS Evil have released another mess of a game and ruined what should have been a sublime experience. For them to release this, in this state, before fixing their first mess is just disgraceful.

Very happy to see this post guys! Epic games is lightyears ahead of anyone when it comes to marketing. I've been gaming for coming up to 30yrs now and last nights event was something I'd never experienced before. It gets a lot of hate in various comments sections but there are millions of people who enjoy the game and like to see something positive in the media

Re: Talking Point: Is a PlayStation Game Pass Viable?

@Flaming_Kaiser @JoeBlogs Oh don't get me wrong guys, SHOULD Sony offer a similar service? Absolutely not. They're market leaders with phenomenal first party titles, it would be a foolish move on their part. My point was IF Sony did follow in the Game Pass pattern those 82% would be tested. They're not free games, I appreciate that, but if the likes of God of War, Death Stranding, Spiderman, Horizon etc were all available day one for the monthly cost of a few quid people would be signing up in droves. They'd be mad not to.

Hahahahaha 82% No, what a joke. Maybe people misread the question? It says 'Would you' not 'Should they'. You're telling me 82% of you lovely people wouldn't want hundreds of free games?! Who are you trying to kid. I love my PS4, a lot. But Game Pass is one of the greatest things to happen to gaming. The value gained by subscribers is obscene.

No love for Divekick?? When my friends and I all get together for EVO every year we always have a Divekick Tournament. Hell, we even have a trophy I understand it means more if you know the characters/references etc (I'm so Godlike) but it is hilarious fun to play with a few beers and a bunch of mates!
