With all the flaws and all the frustration it caused me at launch, I still consider Cyberpunk 2077 one of the best gaming experiences I've had. Beat it twice on PS4, got my first Platinum. I'll play again on PS5 once they add story DLCs, these changes are not enough yet.
Hope this is really crash RATE (crashes per minutes played), because if it shows TOTAL number of crashes then it drops because people are obviously stopping playing the game... unfortunately the spikes after update releases makes me think its actually totals, when people log in to check performance improvements.
Having finished Horizon and not having VR set, only Subnautica seems remotely interesting, at least for a couple of hours. I was quite happy with Ratchet and Clank though.
And I've read this issue is related to any controller of this and past generation, the dualsense vid is just a showcase, an example. Therefore I'm wondering what are you arguing here, that no controllers are worth it? And if you're saying this is specifically dualsense issue, on what basis and where are the figures supporting that claim?
I loved the style, gameplay and the lore as an idea but the game felt a bit flat and unengaging, I could not focus on the dialogue because of how stale and uninteresting it was and the plot was very cliche.
I was hoping that with the success of the first part they could focus on these aspects more but I have a feeling we will just have more of the same which is a shame because I think the full potential of the world was unrealised
Quite concerning he did not address working on missing/broken features like the 'wanted' system. Even if there were no bugs and performance issues, the game is still unfinished
Even though Cyberpunk is lacking features and performs horridly (I'm playing on base PS4...), I just can't stop playing and I'm on my way for my first platinum trophy...
It deserves all the criticism but also deserves a lot of praise, this is potentially a killer game when/if they improve it properly
The method should be definitely reconsidered next year
Having to choose 5 new releases of the year that we think deserve a Game Of The Year Title is overkill, it is inevitably leading to
1) being restricted to real fanatics who played dozens of NEW games in a year
2) people voting just for games they played even when they think they didn't deserve GotY
3) people voting for games they didn't even play
This is probably why Ghost of Tsushima won, it was just a safe choice to vote for: solid, universal title with no controversy
This is the statement from my retailer when I asked about the refund. What game is CDP playing with us here? Extremely confusing
"Normally, software cannot be returned once the seal is broken.
However, CD Projekt Red has released a statement that gamers can expect improvements in the game in the foreseeable future (statement in attachment) If you are not satisfied with that, you still have the option to get a refund (statement in attachment)
In addition to this statement, we have received the following refund instructions from the developer:
Retailers / e-tailers are not responsible for the refund;
Retailers / e-tailers should direct gamers to dedicated email address: helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com with their refund request and proof of payment;
Starting in 2021, CDP Red will receive the refund via PayPal;
Requests will no longer be accepted after Dec 21, 2020.
Hopefully you can quickly get started with the game you were hoping for. Otherwise, do not forget to apply in time! (21-12-2020)"
I am extremely dissapointed at the quality on PS4 slim. I was not expecting top notch graphics but the low res bluriness is just taking all the joy away from playing it.
Do you think there's any chance future patches will address this particular problem?
Don't even care about the bugs right now, probably can't even see them properly because everything is so blurred...
What statement from Druckmann are you referring to? The only one I've seen where he mentioned hate was regarding people who were threatening his colleagues and clearly crossing boundaries, he was right to address this
KC:D is one of my favourite games of all time but it was also buggy as hell with ridiculous pop ups and load times on base PS4, this is what I was referring to in my previous comment. I'm convinced I will enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 despite the bugs, can't be as bad as KC:D in this department
I would rather sacrifice Assasin's Creed, FIFA or Watch Dogs which are already big, established series 😉 missing out Cyberpunk in the highlights seems unfair
The search system is ridiculous and I mostly experienced it when trying to search for Themes. When you go to Themes tab, click Search and type out a name of the game you get everything, from full game to every little DLC, no way to filter out what you're looking for. It's surprising how such basic features fail to function on one of the biggest gaming platforms. Hope they redesign propery in for PS5
Did Pushsquare.com turn off ads for people who read the first article on this topic? This article is only an update Jokes aside, this is up to the developer and people already bought and received the product they wanted, anything beyond that is a bonus. I guess some of them are angry that owners of a newer version get that bonus while they dont. But I dont understand the expectation of getting something for free
Again, majority of the games that currently offer free upgrades do so because they are releasing very close to PS5 launch, Control is already a year old. This is far from being a standard practice in the gaming business so I am really surprised by communicty reaction, it seems there were some unrealistic expectations that all the companies will work on their PS4 games to offer free upgrades for PS5. Besides Doom, what other games have this promise?
There are people in this comment section who seem dissapointed because Control runs badly on PS4 and they were hoping to try it on PS5 for better performance... which is still most likely going to be possible via backwars compatibility. It's easy to misunderstand the article and I think it is worth making the note about backwards compatibility. I may be a little oversensitive about it because this has been misunderstood so many times and played in Sony's disadvantage...
I completely understand why a studio would ask for money for an upgrade to a new system, this game is already a year old and is hardly in the system transition period like other games that offer free upgrade and have all the reasons to convince gamers to buy their products without any worries. What I find to be a low blow is making the distinction between Ultimate edition and Season pass, that should probably be treated the same... also it would be more fair to ask a smaller amount for an upgrade instead of buying the whole game all over again. Just think these points should also be part of the discussion
The article makes it sound as if people won't be able to run the base version of Control on PS5. I think they will most likely be able to play their version of Control on PS5 (through backwards compatibility), just not 'upgraded' with better resolution or whatnot, right?
On one hand I can understand the production costs more and on that basis I would agree, however aren't games also selling better than it the past? This should balance out to some extent...but I'm speculating, I'd love to see an analysis taking both factors into account

Surprised to see games like Max Payne, Dead Space, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare didn't make the list

Meh, only curious about Star Wars: Outlaws. This line up is perhaps exciting for japanese style enthusiasts

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Approaching Two Months Absent from PS Store
Played on base PS4 and still enjoyed it enough to get Platinum (my first ever)
All the criticism is correct but even with these obvious flaws a lot of people will surely enjoy it. It is playable now after the inital patches

Ah interesting, I had no idea you could pronounce it that way. I stand corrected, thanks

Sorry, just have to mention an ugly mistype in the title (or did I miss a pun?): A historic moment*
