Best Final Fantasy since X- which was just as "linear". Tired of games being open world collectathons just for the sake of being open world.
Give me everything that XVI is with a turn based battle system and you've made my ideal FF game. I liked Rebirth but there was way too much unnecessary padding and JRPG cheese.
A bit harsh, I feel. I actually thought the combat worked fine. Really not any different than the system in Tales of Berseria. Also, no love for the soundtrack?! Was the strongest aspect of the demo for me. As stated, not enough story to get a solid read on. Almost felt like a reimagining of SO1.
English dub was what I'd expect (I swear the same 10 VAs do almost everything) but has a Japanese language option. I'll give you that it's pretty rough to look at sometimes. The environments seem quite nice, but coming from the animations in TLoU to this is almost comically jarring. Like trying to compare Avatar to a puppet show.
@PhantomMenace84 I just played through it for the first time a little over a year ago, and as a lifelong FF fan, I feel if anyone should be ridiculed, it's me!

Re: Trails from Zero on PS4 Is Graphically Inferior to Nintendo Switch, PC Ports
Can anyone tell me if this release at least has the additional lines of voiced dialogue from the Evolution releases?
Probably a long shot considering they used Kai as the base, but would be nice for a confirmation either way.
