@Jaz007 I hope you're right, because Bloodborne 2 would be amazing. A VR game like Deracine doesn't take too much time to develope like an AAA game, probably, that's why I'm afraid that From Software will focus on multiplats only. But hey, like I said it, there is a new comic book related to the game, so there is a chance that Bloodborne is not done.

@Johnnycide I believe your post is fair. Days Gone really looks great in my opinion and I really want to succeed, but there are risks being a new ip and all.

@WebHead There is a new comic book of Bloodborne, looks pretty great, maybe that means they really want to continue the series. Sony probably wants more Bloodborne, but it's kinda difficult to imagine From Software making another big exclusive, so who knows.

@crazykcarter The first game is really fun indeed, I don’t understand all the hate, personally I had a great time with it.

@Neolit Same here, these last years I’m also focusing way more on AAA experiences, that’s why I used to love when PS Plus was offering indie games, it was a great way to catch up.

I just played Donut County and Fe of indies this year. Not sure if Fe is considered an indie, being published by EA, but still a great game.
Donut County is pretty cool as well.

Some people were even saying that the sequel would use Mayan/Aztec settings because of the Easter eggs in Deracine.

Bloodborne 2 really needs to happen, I believe Sony really wants a sequel, but From Software is too busy nowadays.

First time that I played a Dragon Quest game and it was a great experience. I really liked the art style and the characters. My only complain is that the game starts to drag after some time, I reached the credits and played a little bit more, but I'm not sure if I will do everything and reach the end. My experience is likely done.

Another game that deserves to be in the list, until now I played all the games except for Hollow Knight. Hope that I reach 90% of the list though.

Still playing Wipeout Omega Collection and now I started Knack 2, bought both on PSN sale.

Maybe I will start Yakuza Kiwami too.

@Paranoimia Can’t wait for The Last of Us 2 as well, but it’s probably not coming next year.

Interesting that PSVR alone has better games and more exclusives than some consoles out there.

The world needs more single-player games, there are many studios focused on multiplayer and MTs already.

Bloodborne 2. I also want the remake of Demon’s Souls made by Bluepoint.

I wonder if From Software will make another exclusive for Sony though, but Deracine was released recently. There is still hope.

I would really prefer a new Splinter Cell or Watch Dogs in 2018 than a new Assassin’s Creed.
Odyssey looks really good, I didn’t play it yet, and I really liked Origins, but annual releases saturate a series, especially big open-world games like AC.
I wasn’t in the mood to play another AC so soon, next year I will jump into Odyssey.

Blacklist is a great game.

Great to see Detroit included, it’s a great game and the best title made by Quantic Dream, imo.
It definitely deserves to be considered one of the best games this year.

Maybe Fe should be on the list too? It’s not well known like many games on the list, but it’s a really cool title.

It’s a good game, but I still prefer the first game because of the narrative and characters.

Wipeout Omega Collection and Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage.

It's one of my favorite games ever, a true masterpiece. Many consider one of the best games ever made as well.

If Sony releases a Team ICO Collection on PS5 with ICO, Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian, I will buy again.

First time I ever played a Monster Hunter game and it was a cool experience, the game is impressive technically: beautiful graphics and solid gameplay.

Even if it’s not my favorite genre because I prefer single-player games, I really enjoyed my time with Monster Hunter: World.

Still thinking about if I will buy Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on PSN sale. The game looks great, but I’m not in the mood to play another AC so soon.
I really want to start the dlcs of Spider-Man.

Great games and collection, but I’m not sure if remakes and remasters belong to a GOTY list. They are already acclaimed games from another era, it’s difficult for new games to compete with classics and all the nostalgia.

Anyway, it’s a great collection and Spyro is another reason why I’m a huge fan of Insomniac.

Kingdom Hearts 3 and Resident Evil 2.

@AdamNovice Some people were also "concerned" that the game wouldn't sell well because games like Tomb Raider coming soon.

@Danloaded True, I remember about the pack with Bayonetta and Vanquish, it's a shame that Platinum will not release it after all.

Sony should talk to them and rescue Vanquish, just like Nintendo did with Bayonetta. Each one will have an exclusives series made by them.

@jdv95 Exactly, the new movie also failed and probably will not have a sequel because of the poor numbers. The new game also didn’t receive many great scores, the sales are low, it even received a discount after few weeks of the release date.

@Areus Yeah. Catherine is such a great game, an underrated gem from the last generation. Another games that I want to come back are Vanquish and Shadows of the Damned.

@carlos82 I respectfully disagree. Of course that it can’t compete with Mario and Sonic, but Uncharted today is way more popular than Tomb Raider. Better games, more sales, etc. The characters are better, Chloe is way more interesting than this new Lara Croft.
Anyway, I don’t trust Hollywood to make a movie about Uncharted, better forget about this idea.
