Re: Let's Take a Moment to Remember Sony's Iconic E3 Moments

PS_Nation

Few examples in my mind right now:

God of War reveal; Spider-Man reveal; The Last Guardian first reveal years ago, and then the announcements of the release years after; The Last of Us first gameplay; Horizon Zero Dawn announcement, being confirmed after the rumors before E3.

I believe Sony will come back to E3 in 2020, at least I hope so.

Seriously? I don’t like this move.
Sony is listening too much the haters, they already cancelled the PSX this year. They should make the event even without a traditional conference and new announcements, it’s a great time to gather PlayStation fans and play games.

Even with some flaws, E3 is an exciting moment, it’s our World Cup. Sony not being there ruins the entire show.

@KidBoruto Crash Bandicoot and Spyro were the mascots of PlayStation during the PS1 era. Exclusives are important for any platform and the gaming industry overall.
PC gamers and many journalists want to push the agenda that exclusives are bad, because they want every game on PC and consoles to fade away. If consoles disappear, single-player games will also disappear, everything will be multiplayer, online, e-sports, etc.

Re: Geoff Keighley to Announce The Game Awards 2018 Nominees Next Week

Of course they will not give an award for a Sony exclusive again.
This is the award that nominated PUBG, an unfinished game, as a game of the year contender.
In 2013, they gave it to GTA V instead of The Last of Us.
In 2016, they gave it to Overwatch (lmao) instead of Uncharted 4.

Anyway, The Last of Us and Uncharted 4 had more GOTY awards overall, this mediocre show is not that special after all.
